Very friendly but very slow service, the nurse that I saw was wonderful but they need more staff. Dr. John was great to work with too! Sasha promptly got me my paperwork after too There also was a glitch in the system and I was informed after waiting for nearly an hour up front that their system said I had already been seen, I said I have not yet been seen then was informed it'd be a few minutes. The nurse that saw me promptly gathered info and vitals, then I got to learn the entire layout and had time to memorize all of the items in the room I was waiting in from how long I got to stare at the wall. Overall I would not recommend this place solely for the timeliness and paying a good chunk of money (self pay) to wait in a chair. NEVER GO HERE. Waited 2 freaking hours for a physical for my daughter. They said it was our turn, waited another 30 minutes in the room.

1. If you do not provide a credit card to keep on file for them to charge at anytime, then you have to pay $100 non refundable fee. 2. Front Staff were completely unprofessional and were more concerned about what kind of new car they were getting. 3. Dr was nice but Im coughing up green stuff and all she would give me was a prescription mucinex and claimed its illegal to give steroid shots now. 4. From the start to finish, everyone was thorough and very helpful. I was able to put my name on a wait list from home and when it was close to my turn, they called and told me to head to the office. The nurse, Lucy, was sweet and knowledgeable. She had an organized system. The doctor, Premod John was caring and concerned. They make a great team. I'm from out of town, and arrived to the clinic around 6pm. They sent my prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy and gave me the directions there. Lousy. I'm being nice. My mother went to the Hurst location for medical help for sore throat. She is elderly. I inquired to ensure they take Medicare. The receptionist did acknowledge they do take Medicare. However when she arrived and waited for over an hour. No assistance was provided nor was any inquiry made. There is ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE here. My daughter had a worsening case of swimmers ear a few weeks ago. It was 8 pm when we decided it was time to see a doctor. Since it was so close to closing time I decided to do a web checkin for the first available next day. I got all my paperwork filled out online beforehand so I wouldn't have to sit there and fill out paperwork. 8 am...9 am...no call. So I called in to double check she was on the waiting list. She wasn't, they didn't have any of her information but the employee I spoke to got us squared away and we were called in an hour later. We waited in the lobby 15-30 mins and we were well taken care of by the MA and physician once in the procedure room. My only real complaint is that they do not prescribe medications that are in your insurance network. I had to spend an hour on the phone with the pharmacist trying to figure out why the insurance wouldn't pay for $279 ear drops... read more

I'm lowering my review score down to a one star for the reason of finally receiving the phone call about my question regarding the scab on the lower portion of my scar opening up when I was handling it. Remember that question was posed to them two days ago and I would told two days ago I would receive a phone call about whether or not the doctor wanted me to come in which if it were that big of a deal two days would probably be pretty bad. Also recall I had to call my primary care doctor and have them answer the question and tell me it's normal and to be gentle with the scar and the scabbing for a few days... Well I got my phone call this morning around 9 and was told yeah the doctor wants me to come in for a follow-up which of course I have my final follow-up appointment on Monday as it is so seeing as how the scab is getting better the scar is closing up pretty well and I'm not having any issues I told them I'm not going to worry about it and the question was answered by someone else implying that they did not answer my question to begin with so I wasn't going to have to come in for an extra appointment rather just go in for my final follow up on Monday. The major issue aside from the fact that it goes along the lines of what I spoke of in my initial review is the lack of friendliness and the tone of boy that the person calling me portrayed. Even at the end of the call I couldn't say my usual have a good day and goodbye because she just simply hung up like she didn't give a damn. Only 1 or 2 receptionists and the male medical assistant as well as the initial nurse alongside doctor Schlottmann as well as that doctor and Doctor Hayes I have portrayed a friendly that makes me feel comfortable and feel like going there. The rest of the staff seems lackluster, I'd rather go to a location where the staff is warm and friendly and I feel comfortable going there. My daughter was extremely sick and I took her over to Care Now in Hurst. She gave them her insurance card and they said 180.00 dollars. I ask why is it that much, with her PPO insurance. The lady said we take your insurance, but it's still 180.00 dollars. I said that is full cash price. I then ask them to add her to my Care Now healthy savings plan, since she's my dependent? They then said NO, it's not allowed. I frankly don't believe that , especially since I just got it Sunday and even if that were the truth, why didn't they offer to help her get on one? I was visiting from out of town and unfortunately had an accident that landed me here. I show up, signed in, filled out paperwork and waited maybe 15 minutes ((if that) to be called back to be seen. The intake desk was curt both in person and over the phone. However, 5 stars to Marissa who i believe is the x-ray tech and Dr. Schlottman. They were amazing. They really explained everything thoroughly to me and in a calm matter that didn't escalate what could have been a VERY nerve wrecking situation. The intake desk forgot to give me my X-rays while they were discharging me. And it has been a NIGHTMARE trying to get ahold of them. I called the UC immediately once I realized their mistake. They kept saying I had to come in and fill out a form to allow them to release the x-ray. After explaining that I live in an another state, I kept getting the run around constantly of how to obtain my records. Finally get a clear response and they tell me their processing is 15 BUSINESS DAYS. This whole process, due to THEIR mistake, is now delaying my follow up visits with my orthopedic surgeon. 4 stars because despite the intake desk experience and the administrative chase of my records. The girl that signed me in wasn't the friendliest. However, once I was into be seen service was prompt. My nurse was lovely. Her bubbly, caring personality was ideal for a medical establishment. Though the wait to see the doctor was longer it wasn't extensive. This is a doctor that cares. He answered in detail questions I had and took the time to explain some stuff too me others had not in the past. Took my son here right when they opened their doors at 7:50am The waiting room was littered with used tissues on the floors, chairs, and coffee tables. There was food and crumbs crusted on the tables and chairs. Very dirty and unsanitary especially for a doctors office. The LVN, MA, and NP were all lacking in communication skills. It took an hour and a half for a visit that we checked in for at 6am and were the first to the office. Definitely look for somewhere else to be seen if at all possible! read more

I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. We did the online check in and waited 3 hours for them to call us to come in. Then, we got here and got called back in a descent amount of time, saw the nurse, but waited almost 1.5 hours to see the doctor. Learned that my son had the flu. He actually fell asleep on the table waiting to be seen. It was rediculous. After this experience, I remembered that the last time we were here we waited a long time as well. read more

I was very happy with how the staff treated me here. I got a call within 10 minutes of making my web check in. I was told to come on in and everything was smooth. I waited in the waiting room about 25 min which was a bit long I thought since I had checked in, however once I was in the room I was seen fairly quickly. The PA was excellent and I felt like a valued patient. He listened carefully and gave a thorough explanation of my treatment. I will absolutely use this clinic again when I need to. read more

BCBS patients beware. They will tell you they are in-network but their providers are not in-network with BCBS. I saw a PA for 2 minutes and they send me a bill for $335. This is the worst Urgent care I've ever been to. I had an eye infection and was quickly called back to a room and the nurse was great but that's where the good service ended. The doctor saw me for a moment after the usual 45-60min wait. He quickly said what I needed. I explained I needed a note for work. He wrote the note for the wrong date so I asked for another one. The nurse said if my eye wasn't better I could get a new note the next day easily. My prescription wasn't available so I called and said I needed an extended note and i would pick it up the next day. I went to the clinic and waited for a half hour. When I went to the desk the rude young man blamed his coworker for the note not being ready. He told me I could go run errands and he would call me. I'm glad I didn't wait. I called back later that day and was told my note was ready. I went and picked it up. The irony is after my note was picked up I received 3 calls wanting to help me with the note. I called and let them know I got the note. There is no communication in the office I still received another call about my note. Save your sanity and go to an Urgent care down the street. read more

This location is AWFUL. I specifically saw them for an extremely rare kidney infection issue yet it can be cured/prevented to go into full infection from ONE kind of antibiotics. The Dr said he would note my file, able to refill this antibiotics to make it available for me shall this kidney issue happen on nights or weekends. The Dr understood the condition and urgency to get on meds immediately without having to take up space in ER, since all records support how to cure symptoms & my situation. For my job anytime you get a cold or feel flu like symptoms you have to get a COVID test before returning to work and this comes out of the employees pocket. One day I went home early because I felt sick and had a fever, so per policy first thing next morning I contacted this care now and scheduled a test. I have taken a test before at cvs and it was free, but I expected to pay something for if I used care now. The only reason I am given one star is because the people at the location were very nice. I asked how much the test and visit cost me I was told fifty dollars, ok I know the CARE ACT covers a lot of it so I was ok payed my bill and asked again this is it no bill coming later, no your insurance didn't cover this so bill coming later...... No Sir that's it. Today I got a bill for $488.00 dollars so I question this company and their ethics. I went to this Carenow and the P.A., Joseph Cuellar told me it is the shingles. I questioned this P.A. because I had heard the shingles is painful and had blisters. I had no pain and no blisters! He giggled and said, it's definitely the shingles and he said he would refer me to a ophthalmologist because it's at my eye. I never heard from anyone about a appointment to Ophthalmologist, so I found my own! Ophthalmologist said they see alot of people with the shingles and she didn't think I had shingles and she sent me to dermatologist. I went to Dermatologist and I was told that it is a allergic reaction to food or makeup. I finally heard from Carenow almost 3 days later after I had already gone to 2 other drs! The nurse and doctor are very nice at this clinic. I came in for covid testing and they made me feel very comfortable; I was also in and out in a little over an hour. What I do not appreciate is the lack of knowledge of the front office staff. When we phoned they said it would be a $160 appointment charge and we would have covid results in 24-48 hours.
