Before being seen I asked what the cost of the visit would be because I had the option to go to a primary care provider instead. I was told that the visit would cost $44 after providing my insurance information. Two weeks later I received an invoice for $177.00. In my opinion this is criminal. You will give the same information more than 3 times at every level. They do not listen to you. When you finally see a doctor, the bedside manner is non existent. They talk as they behave, they do not have your best interest at heart. The level of care is sad and disappointing. I was so upset with my level of care that I asked for a refund. I've been here a few times for various reasons, and most commonly get a steroid shot in the butt for allergies. The staff has been very friendly on every visit, but they are very slow and understaffed. There's usually one PA and one nurse plus the receptionist. Don't bother calling, it's likely they won't answer the phone. Best bet is to do the online check in and paperwork if possible, and arrive on time. Plan on an hour minimum. I've gone here twice. Omg the girl at the front desk has no care or compassion in her body. When I walked in this time 4 months later I was oh no here we go again. Rude , wifi never works so you can check in and asking g her about it she acts like your a bother. A old man came in and he had no phone etiquette to figure out how to check in, she was no help to him I felt just horrible for him to be treated like that. I had to help him with the internet on his phone. Don't go to this location. Also my appointment with the doctor didn't listen to my concerns at all, he just wanted to do what he wanted to do. They never answer the phone! Got a covid test months ago and they never called me with results (they said they would call). I chalked it up to simply falling through the cracks. I tried numerous times to get in touch with someone without success. I just tried calling them for another test I recently had done and I was on hold for over 10 minutes so finally hung up. The automated "please hold" message just plays over and over. The staff is friendly when I'm there, but, pleeeease have someone answer patients' calls. Test results are important! I made an appointment for a rapid COVID-19 test and confirmed it the day prior, the day of, and an hour before my appointment at 430pm. I arrived at 425pm after checking in through the online portal where once again I confirmed the test. After waiting 40 minutes I was finally asked to come inside and provide my ID and insurance card. Once I began the physical check in the ladies at the desk informed they were out of tests. At this time it's now impossible to find a test by the end of this day because I wasn't told about this location not having any rapid Covid tests available. I asked what the issue was since I confirmed my appointment three times before meeting these people in person. She told me that they didn't know until 230pm. which would be fine if didn't confirm my test at 330. arrived here and checked in at 425, and not told of this failure in professionalism until 510pm minutes before every clinic in the area closes for for the day. the passive aggressive rudeness by the staff suggest that I was the dumb one for this situation happening. Because of this complete failure In the confirmation process that is set up here I'm going to be unable to return to work. I know this review won't do any damage to this establishment but I hope others see this and understand that these people have zero regard for a professional medical practice and absolutely no remorse for the hardship misleading patients into a medical procedure being available and zero alternatives to assist bridging the gap within this establishment total failures. I'm thankful that the only injury I'm going to face from this will be financial and that didn't have an urgent medical need that would become emergent due to embarrassing lack of accountability PrimaCare clearly has no issue in embracing and every step of their medical practice. Do not seek urgent or routine medical care here! This level of lazy incompetence too many times leads to FAR worse outcomes than the one I'm having now. Brought my daughter in for a sports physical. The wait time was unreasonably long (an hour) without others in the waiting room. The form required by my daughter's sport requires a physicians signature. Was told by a physicians assistant that there are no doctors on the premises to sign the form. Horrible experience at this location, went in with pressure headaches most likely due to dehydration waited for over 2 hours to find out the nurses and RN did not know how to administer an IV. I left with a splitting headache and Advil. Three months later I receive a bill in the mail from the visit for using a out of network provider, despite having blue cross blue shield and it showing primacare as a in network provider. Couldn't find anywhere to make an appointment for a COVID test on their website, everything I found said walk in testing only. Showed up before the doors opened at 8, along with 4 other people. Was given an appointment time of 11:45, so had to sit in the waiting room sick all morning waiting. Finally got the test, positive, Dr gives me completely different treatment from what was given to my husband at the same location a few way days earlier. They didn't even offer me a steroid shot. Worst of all, they didn't tell me about the monoclonal antibody infusion treatment that I'd need to have done early if I was going to do it at all. Fast forward to day 6 and I'm getting worse instead of better, day 10 I'm hospitalized for dehydration and fatigue, all because it's too late to get the infusion treatment that I didn't know was an option because PrimaCare didn't bother to tell me. read more

I made an appointment online, that experience was horrid. You better fill out all your boxes quickly because your time can get snagged, even if you're on the last step. It leaves you clicking fighting for a spot in line. So you get there ten minute before your appointment and yet you still have to wait 30 minutes past your appointmnt time to be seen for approx 7 minutes. I had an appointment at 430, got there at 420. It was 445 and a walk in got taken in before me. I was finally seen at 456 and left at 505. The staff are very friendly, but they need to schedule better and update their online scheduling system so people can't steal your time. Time management is definitely not one of their strengths, which considering it's a drs office...it should be. read more

I've been here at least 10 times and never had a bad experience until this past Sunday morning. The wait was a bit long and when the nurse walked me to room and said "I'll come get you for vitals in awhile", I asked "how long is awhile". She snapped "when I have time"...when she did take me for my vital signs she started lecturing me that I was angry (me or her?) I asked if she took my question personally and she absolutely lost all self control. She was shouting and I can only guess trying to provoke me to either losing my temper or swearing....she got close to my face and stared at me and I was honestly afraid. I didn't know if she was going to throw me out or get violent. When I got up, I cleared my throat and she shouted "what did you say"? I responded "nothing" and again she shouted "Yes you did, what did you say"? I simply asked if I could go back to my room. She told me to go to the room and "sit down and shut up". I wish I had videoed her, I was so concerned that I called my husband to either be a witness or protect me. Fortunately the dr came in and all was fine. I will NEVER return to this facility because this woman IS dangerous and will eventually either hurt someone, or completely snap. Please, please be careful about this place. The front desk woman kind of upset and was a bit condescending to me when she said that she needed my insurance card, although I had stated to her that my insurance company will mail it in 30 days since I was just approved for the insurance, and I have the actual insurance number handy. My Mom is ill and suspecting it was the flu, I called her regular Drs office; however, it being a holiday, it was closed. I quickly looked for clinics on here and this one came highly recommended. The wait time was completely reasonable, maybe ten minutes and I was very surprised at that. The receptionist was extremely kind and personable. Once seen, the nurse quickly ran tests for flu and strep and she was incredibly gentle with both tests. I had forgotten to bring a list of my Mothers medications and the nurse was understanding about it and even called to get a current list (from where her prescriptions are filled). She never complained about doing it or acted put out whatsoever. The Dr was quick and thorough with his exam. My only complaint was that it was a bit hard to find. But that's not their fault and is due to the construction surrounding this area. I would recommend this to both friends and family. read more

These guys were extremely helpful when our 2 year old decided to lodge a lego in her nose. It was a struggle, but the Dr was so sweet and patient and made my daughter feel as comfortable as possible while removing the piece! Love this location! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I checked in online and was running late; I called the office and they were incredibly understanding. This location is very clean and has a nice big waiting room. This was a follow up visit from when I went to the Primacare in Lewisville. I was told a week and a half ago that I had bad allergies; 10 days later and I still was not feeling better. When I arrived for my appointment, Cynthia greeted me at the front desk. She quickly took care of my paperwork and payment. When I was called back, Mariah took my vitals and symptoms; she also answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was dumb for not knowing. Brandon was the NP that evaluated/examined me. He was so empathetic about me feeling unwell for so long. He made sure to ask if I was OK with taking certain prescriptions before just assuming and sending everything to my pharmacy. This is a little detail that made me feel like Brandon was listening to and addressing my needs. I was put on a nasal inhaler of sorts. Laura, a paramedic they have on staff, came in to show me how to use this medication properly. If you want to be treated well by a knowledgeable and attentive staff, I HIGHLY recommend this PrimaCare location! read more

I walked in and was met with no greeting or clear direction/instruction. The receptionist was absolutely rude! I got an alert to arrive at the office by 11:30 and ended up waiting 20 minutes to even checked in by the receptionist. Only one other patient in the lobby. There is no reason for this at all. Over the course of about 3 weeks we took our 2 year old son in. After being seen once, they diagnosis was "bad allergies." Mind you, he does have allergies but the coughing he was doing did not sound like allergies to us. He had no nose drainage, no sneezing. None of the common other allergy symptoms. Dr Moore kept assuring us that's all it is. Nothing you can do but Zyrtec and Benadryl. Well his daddy and I trusted our gut and decided to get a second opinion from another dr. Acute bronchitis for him. Meaning he's needed to be on a steroid and medicated cough syrup for going on 3 weeks now and he didn't have to be suffering this long. I'm angry, frustrated, but above all else. Please, for one if you have a child needing medical attention and don't have a PCP do not take them here. Find a pediatric urgent care for them. And second, if you're an adult, be prepared to be disrespected by the receptionist too. I had asked if we could get a Covid test while being seen and her response was, " that's not up to you". All in all not a good experience and I would recommend you go somewhere else where you'll be given better treatment. read more
