I sprained my foot and ankle in a fall. After a 5 hour wait to be seen, a Nurse Practitioner walked into the room, looked down at my foot, told the nurse to send me to xray and left. Never saw her again. The x-ray tech was just ok. I felt like I was keeping her from something and she had no regard for the pain I was in. On the way to x-ray, I noted that there was no one in any of the exam rooms I passed. Why were people being told there was a 6 hour wait? The nurse was the shining jewel of the visit. Very attentative and caring. She told me I had sprained my foot and ankle and to stay off of it. The after care documentation was very specific and covered everything. I got a prescription for over-the-counter strength Ibuprofen and a boot for my foot. I asked for the form needed for my primary to request my records and x-rays, and the front desk guy looked at me like I was an alien. I received a call 10 minutes after getting home advising that my x-ray had been reviewed and in addition to the sprains, I had broken a toe. The only reason to utilize this clinic is if you cannot be seen anywhere else. They have online registration to put you in line, and have x-ray facilities, so there are pluses, but if you have an expectation that someone will care about you or how you feel, wait to see your primary. read more

Nobody wouldn't listen to me. I came in on worker's comp because I injured my hand. I was here for three hours and all they would do is X-ray it. Since it's not broken there's nothing they can do they said, just come back in a week for a follow up. But, my hand hurts so badly I cannot move it. I did not even get to see a doctor, just a PA. I want my hand to heal, they would not give me any guidance on restrictions or rest or anything. And is it something more serious? The PA said he had no idea. read more

I have used CareNow Hurst for many years, but recently they seem to be extremely under staffed. After doing an online check-in and being told it would be about an hour, I wait 3 hours for a call to come in. I then waited almost an hour in the waiting room. Once back in a room, I waited another 30+ minutes to see a doctor before I walked out. No one was even aware I left. This was my second trip in this week, as I am not getting any better, and I thought the original visit took too long after again having more than 30 minutes in the waiting room after being told my room was ready and a 30 minute wait in the exam room. Although the care has always been okay, they are in desperate need of more Update: I received a BILL for this visit! Totally unacceptable! read more

I did a web checkin a little earlier today. When they called me the girl Asked if it was a work Injury. I replied it could be but I wasn't sure when it happened. It also could of been from being on A motorcycle or when wearing heels. She informed me that since it was a work Injury I HAD to file workers comp or private pay. I said no, let me speak To supervisor. She gets on phone and tells me same thing and I explained it again, I wasn't sure where it happened. She told me that I had told girl before it was definitely a work injury. I asked if there was a recording she would not answer me. I asked again, stating I wanted us to listen to it and she said she didn't know. So I have a hurt food and have been refused to be seen unless I file workers comp or pay In full!! Care Eventually this is a workers comp review complaint! I got hurt at work I went to this location signed in to the web check-in didn't want to wait because I was in I incrustation pain. I get to Care Now at 4pm which was my check-in time I picked out. Well once I get there they tell me they will message me once they are ready for me which is an 4 hour delay. I go home and cry put it in an ice pack and take main meds. CareNow calls me at 7pm to tell me they are not ready for me but they close there doors at 730 and they would like for me to come now and wait. so I did I was the only one there and finally got seen was still in horrible pain. They tried to take an x-ray but apparently it stopped working. so then tell me come back tomorrow to take the x-rays. so I did after a 2 hr wait and finally picked up my pain meds the next day because every pharmacy was closed by the time I left. When it came up to the follow up I had to do a web check in and they were still behind and another center tried to squeeze me in but because it was a workers comp issue I had to stick to where I had been going .So at the follow up they did my pre op and a NP saw me and processed to tell me that I have to come back again. that they can not check me off because they don't have a doctor working. so they schedule me for a week later and tell me to do a walk up don't have to wait. nope! that was a lie! and tell me its a 2-3 hr wait. for walk ins. if you have a workers comp injury don't go here! its so unorganized and one person tells you one thing and its constantly a waste of time! CareNow should change there name to Care Eventually! they will eventually get to your needs. read more

This was the worst "doctor" experience I've ever had in my life these people shouldn't even be licensed. I waited 2 hours to be seen, Nurses kept coming in the room interrupting to talk to the Dr about OTHER patients... (Hippa violation??) This care now is absolutely AWFUL, I would even say it is TRASH because their staff is rude, and they have no idea what they are doing. I went in for a TB skin test and the nurse who read my test didn't know what it meant so she didn't even bother to mark it in the form as a positive or a negative test result and let me go as if it was negative, then I went in to get my second test done and this time the lady didn't even know how to insert the fluid in correctly, she went in too deep and had to redo it twice. The test turned out to be positive for my first one which was extremely frustrating because if I hadn't gone for a second test then I wouldn't have ever known that fact and on top of it, I had to pay $75 full price both times for my test. The PA who read my test has no patience and is absolutely uncooperative with their patients, the one person who is supposed to be the calmest and collective was coarse and mean and yelled at me for their own staff's mistake. This whole situation was very unprofessional and I hated my experience there I would never refer anyone to ever go there because they are also very slow and have no idea what they are doing. I fear for the future of our medicine if the people working in the medical field are like this. I have never had such a horrible experience in my entire life before and this has been the worst medical care facility that I have ever experienced. read more

The condition turned out to be more serious than we had thought: we were quickly referred to an emergency room at a hospital specializing in the needed care, and our check-in there was expedited. Staff was very professional and friendly. Web check in system is not good or staffing is a problem here. We checked in at 10:50 AM for a simple COVID release for my son to return to school. We were called and they said it would be 3-4 hours. After 4 hours, we called to check on the status and were told it would be another 2 hours. Another 2 hours later we were called to come in. Once we got there, we waited over an hour to be seen by the doctor. The time with doctor was about 5 minutes to clear my son to return to school. read more

Oh my goodness. I went in for a simple follow up, but 45 minutes AFTER the doctor saw me the nurses had not returned with a paper so I could leave. They had apparently taken lunch, ordered Chick Fil-a and were sitting in the back eating. I went in the hall for help and no one was there. Finally I had my mom ask at the front desk. The nurse finally came back and said there was a mix-up and they had no idea I was even still there. They didn't know which room I was in or anything! THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT A PATIENT, because they wanted to go to lunch. read more

I love this office. It's clean, they're quick and efficient. I often see Dr. Hayes and he's just awesome. Quick but I don't feel rushed. There's free coffee!! I just have no complaints. But keep in mind this is an urgent care clinic, not a doctor's office. They see anyone that wants to be seen without an appointment, so you will wait. Most of my visits here have been about an hour start to finish. Weekends will be worse. The front desk might could be more personable, but that's not where I'm concerned about friendliness. MAs, doctors, and nurses are always great with me and my baby. read more

Unprofessional, rude and totally non caring as well as unbelievably expensive. I waited 45 minutes after calling in first and being told to come in. The waiting room was dirty with Kleenex all over the floor. Charged me 450.00 for a shot and two prescriptions. Person behind the desk was completely disinterested..refused to give me an itemized receipt I would like to know what I just paid for..shoved a form at me and said " fill it out and the main office will send you one". The doctor seemed to be the only medical person on duty at the Care Now on Grapevine Highway. She failed to do a complete exam. We were finally called to the place at 8:15 p.m. We waited at home for 2 hours. Spent another hour and half waiting to see a doctor. My grandson had all kinds of symptoms - she did not even look in his ears for infection even though I told her his ears bothered him. She said, Treatment the same. So how do we know to return to make sure ear infection - if it existed is cleared up? Over all just not a good experience. I won't return for treatment - at least to this location. read more

I had done the web check in and normally would hear back within a short time but since i had not received call back my husband called the location to get update. When he explained i was having difficulty breathing they told me to come right in. Upon arrival i received immediate attention. Within minutes i was seen by more than one of the staff and began receiving treatment. The staff's quickness and professionalism saved me a trip to the ER. I have been coming to Carenow for years and the staff that was on shift that night was the best. I would recommend this location to all who need care. read more

After reading other reviews, perhaps I went on the wrong day. The web check in was fine, but when I checked in there were 3 employees behind the counter joking around with one another and talking about personal matters. I know that happens everywhere these days, but when you are sick, a little professionalism goes a long way. The wait was not long, but the nurse who took my vitals seemed rushed and disinterested in me. I had just taken my temperature at home and it was 99.5. Not high, but high for me. She took an ear temp and did not even put it in my ear canal. The reading was 98.3. She forcefully pushed my sleeve up to get my blood pressure when I did not raise it high enough myself. I then proceeded to sit in the room for a solid 50 minutes before anyone came in. There was some sort of liquid on the bed, and an insect kept buzzing around me the entire time. I was assigned a PA, which no one notified me about in advance. He had on too much cologne and seemed incredulous about my case from the start. I've never been made to feel like I was making up my illness until today. I was sure I had strep because I get it all the time. I work craft shows on the weekends, so I come into contact with a lot of people. I was not prescribed any meds but rather told to gargle warm salt water and take Tylenol. When I went to check out, I was told there was one person ahead of me. He checked out and left. Then 3 people in a row came in, and they were all helped. Then 2 more came in, so I finally got in line and when it was my turn, they asked how they could help me. At this point I had been there for almost 2 hours, and I felt like crap. I started crying and asked to pay so I could go home. The woman curtly replied, "Well, as you can see, there was a line ahead of you". I gave her my HSA card which had enough funds on it and she told me it was declined. I did not have the energy to argue, so I paid with my debit card. 2 hours and $160 later, I felt WAY worse than when I arrived. read more

Lucky for me they had more people waiting, I was the last patient that night and they treated me as if I was the 1st for the day. Dr. Martha was great she was very attentive. I ended up with the flu a couple of days before Christmas and wasn't looking forward to having to go into a clinic, figuring everyone would be stressed and the other patients at their wits end. To say I was extremely surprised and impressed would be an understatement. Both the front desk staff and the physician were above & beyond kind, compassionate, friendly, and thoughtful. Went in to get an appointment, went downhill fast, first off the woman at the desk was rude when signing in, she told me they would call when it was my turn roughly in an hour and a half, I left and waited on a call, 2 hours later I called just to check in and spoke with a guy and he let me know the wait was going to be another hour and a half and they would call, 2 minutes later the woman called and said "what did he tell you because it won't be that long, he is new and doesn't know what he is talking about" which I thought was very unprofessional. I told her just cancel my appointment and I'll go elsewhere. She wouldn't cancel my appointment without a fight...I would recommend everyone stay away from here! read more

the worst doctors experience and one of the most chaotic and clueless clinics ever. late night employees yelling "we finally get to clock out" after their last patient of the day (me) is not even out of the door yet. it has been almost 24 hours and the doctor still has not filled my prescription yet. and the front desk said there's nothing they can do because he's "busy." the prescriptions for patients should be filled when the TIME STAMP on patients paperwork says it was "filed" read more

Called before to get pricing, was told the max I would pay is $170. Went in, paid the $170. Just got a bill for an additional $70 for tests they did while in office, I was not told these would cost extra and wasn't given a chance to opt out. They just did the tests and now I have to pay. Terrible business practice, super deceiving. I think the $170 is already crazy expensive but to be hit with an additional surprise bill after is just insulting. read more

Terrible at following through and responding when you leave a message. Told me to call back if symptoms don't get better so they could prescribe an antibiotic. I did, they never responded. I go up to the place then get told I have to sit down and have an appointment to speak with a nurse or a doctor. Put a note in my file but no timetable on when they'll look at it. read more

I greatly dislike having to give one star reviews. However, Care Now gave me no choice considering the fact that they refused to treat my child at all, or even allow him to see a doctor. Last night I brought my son in to see a doctor. He had been jumped on by a boy at school who was roughhousing, and the other boy accidentally knocked him over, landing on his leg. My son was ok at first but the pain increasingly became worse over the evening, so I decided to have it looked at to make sure nothing was fractured. When I informed the young man at the front desk of why we were there, he expressed sympathy and began to hand me paperwork. However, the young lady at the computer beside him brashly stopped him and told him i'd have to find another ER since this was an assault case. I told them no, this was not assault and my child was in pain from an accident and needed to see a doctor. The man tried to tell her is wasn't assault and it was ok but she insisted on alerting the manager, who decided we had to leave because it was Care Now policy not to treat any patient if there's any possibility of police getting involved. The man apologized as the young lady continued to berate him about policy and how she could have been fired because of him and so on. I took my son to a different ER and they treated him with no problems. read more

It's nice to see this location closer to me but the staff has taken a dive since i was here 9 months ago. The girl upfront Monica? She's probably the least personable person I've seen in a medical facility. Between shooting dirty looks at people or being short with people over the phone, she's probably the worst person at this clinic now. I could see if they were busy. All people in the medical field are allowed to be short occasionally, at least to me. So much is riding on them to get things right that i sympathize with them. But they weren't busy in the least. I don't know if it's because they have to listen to Beverly Hills Chiwawa in the background all day or what but she seems like she (Monica) could use a 15 min break or something. read more

This was hands down the worst medical care i've ever received. When I walked in, a nurse was joking about how she didn't feel like working, and boy was that the theme of the day. I was send out of their facility to the ER for absolutely no reason and I was hung up on by multiple of their nurses. Worse, I was given instructions BY THEM to take a certain medication 2 times every 4 hours for 10 days, and the prescription that was sent in contained only 6 pills and no refills, which I was assured was on the prescription as well. These doctors in the facility also neglected to tell me that they found pneumonia on my X-ray until I was speaking with someone from their corporate office about the complaint I was filing the next day. If you value your life do not go here for medical help, they don't have any to give. read more

This Carenow needs help. I did web check-in as I've done at Carenow's over the years. They called and told me to come in and they were ready for me. When I arrived, they were not busy at all. I even heard a staffer say as much. However, I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes without so much as a hello, we'll be right with you, kiss my foot, or anything. The receptionist did glare at me a couple of times, though. If you're not ready for me, don't call and say so. I left without being seen. I can get better care somewhere else where they don't ignore you at their desk. Really poor.
