Seeing all the bad posts is kinda strange. The only bad thing I can say about this place is it was just a little toasty in the building which made the rooms stuffy and I was sick so obviously a little uncomfortable but that's an easy fix and not that big of a deal. However, the ladies working the front were extremely friendly and kind to me coming in and leaving. The nurse practitioner that I saw obviously knew what he was talking about because the moment I got home with recommended meds I started feeling so much better. The building seemed very clean and the tv wasn't too loud at all lol. Also, setting up an appt took literally 5 seconds online, made my appt on June 1, 2023 at 5:30pm to be seen at 6:15pm that night and was seen earlier if not exactly on time. I had called the drug testing number and they changed my referral to MedPost instead. Walked in at 530pm and got checked in right away. No hassles at all. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Waited for well over an hour with symptoms that clearly needed a quick antibiotic dose. NP wouldn't see me because he "had to chart," yet his patient left 30+ min ago. Finally got in, present symptoms, asked for a Z-pack. The NP refused - said 4 days of being miserable and having a medically fragile child weren't enough of a reason for some Zithromax?!? When did antibiotics become the new narcotic? In addition, the NP was a jerk. To top it alllll off, he prescribed me a medication with CODEINE in it and then argued with me when I told him I couldnt take it. Wouldn't recommend this place whatsoever. Tried calling to ask a question, was greeted with a rude tone (exactly what you need when you're sick). Two times in a row the receptionist HUNG UP on me because my phone service was breaking up. Instead of giving me the chance to find a different spot in the house where she could hear me, she hung up immediately. Twice. It is clear that I was an inconvenience for her. If you see P.A. Mary Gedus (or Gadus) for Covid, good luck getting ANY prescriptions to help with symptoms, let alone the now fully prescribe-able and approved Covid antiviral. She told my daughter that "they don't really prescribe anything for covid." It was like pulling teeth to get her to give my daughter even a cough syrup or steroid to help her feel at least a little better!! It's very untrue that nothing is really prescribed for covid, and my daughter lives with a family member who has stage 4 cancer. So she needs her viral load to go down as quickly as possible in order to be able to be around them again! I'd obviously like to prevent my daughter from developing more severe disease as well! So if there's an antiviral available, then why in the world would a medical "professional" deny it to a patient?? Especially when my daughter specifically asked for it and her boyfriend was just given that very drug at a different (much better!) minor emergency clinic! She just got a positive covid test yesterday and she and her boyfriend have the exact same symptoms- and he got sick before her! $199 for this type of experience and I'm sure as heck never coming here. And neither will my daughter or anyone else we know! Urgent care clinics are supposed to PREVENT people from ending up in crowded emergency rooms! Yet, this P.A. told my daughter that was all she could give her (prescribed meds) and to go to the emergency room if she gets worse. Are you serious???!! This P.A.'s actions (or lack of action!) caused someone with late stage cancer MUCH unnecessary worry and stress. Maybe if she had asked my daughter what her living situation was then she would have realized it's probably a good idea to give her the antiviral. But nope. Clearly she didn't care about helping, which is sad since she's in the medical field and that's literally her job! Denying a patient meds specific to their condition is NOT helping. And this is the exact type of scenario that makes people dislike and not want to trust medical personnel. 9/22 Update: The manager at Medpost was supposed to have the PA call when she was between patients yesterday. That never happened. So my daughter called at the end of the day and was told it wouldn't matter if she was on the antiviral, it would still spread. Maybe they should read the news story that just came out yesterday about Biden approving for PHARMACISTS to test people for covid AND then give them the antiviral right then and there! . I went in for an x-ray on my left pinky toe (that is black and purple and swollen twice it's normal size) and was told it was ok, no breaks, just some discoloration. I also had my ribs x-rated and was told the same thing. Radiologist called later to apologize for the Doctors mis diagnosis, I did in fact have a "displaced fractured rib dangerously close to my lungs, and my toe was indeed fractured as well". Don't wast your time or money with this place. The Doctor even slapped me on the back with fractured rib and said "your tougher than you think! So that evening I developed more symptoms including fever;I called the office and asked if I could just come in and test for the flu. I was told no I would have to pay another $140 plus the 35.00 for flu test. That's crazy when I was just there. I would not recommend your facility to anyone and will definitely be letting people know what happened to me. These guys are super professional super fast and super nice. I had to evacuate my home in corpus to come to Seguin during hurricane Harvey and broke my foot while I was here. This establishment was very unprofessional. I showed up before my appointment hoping I could get in on time. I waited for about an hour before they sent me to a patient room (where I then waited for another 20 minutes). While I waited, I witness the receptionist dealing with a lot of personal issues- including a friend coming in and yelling at her. Luckily, they took the fight outside, but we could still hear everything in the waiting room ~awkward~ Several people walked in seeking an appointment and I watched the receptionist promise extremely unreasonable time frames. She suggested a 20-30 minute wait for a walk in when 5 people who had appointments had been waiting for over 30 minutes. I understand that these types of business take a while and require patience, but I think we all appreciate honesty with time estimates. The nurse and the PA were so great. Very kind and knowledgeable. They deserve a little more efficiency and better staffing! read more

I have been here a total of four times now. Once for myself, twice for my son and once for my teenage daughter. The first time was for my son and they didn't even check us in, sent us to the ER (for a minor trauma), the second time was for myself (for a sinus infection), and, it's a miracle!, they know how to treat that! Third time was for my son who had an allergic reaction. The PA was so unnecessarily alarmed. He never lifted my son's shirt to actually look at the entire reaction, didn't touch him even once. So, really, no actual assessment was done at all. My son was in no distress. He needed steroids but the PA said they didn't have them there. He wanted to send my son home with an Epi-Pen? When I hesitated about his recommendations, he sent us to the ER. The staff at the ER laughed at us coming in. They made the comment that the MedPost has a very small window of stuff they can actually treat. The ER fast tracked us, gave my son steroids and he was fine. Most recently me teenage daughter went. Again, no assessment was done. She had a rash all over her torso and the PA did not lift her shirt once. He diagnosed her with ringworm, gave her two prescriptions and let her go. We took her to our family doctor the next available weekday and she was diagnosed with a specific type of Rosea skin rash. The treatment is steroids. Seems like this place can only properly diagnose simple colds and allergy issues. I have never seen an actual physician working there and I will likely not use them again unless I am desperate. read more

Waited 2 hours for a scheduled appt. place was filithy, garbage on waiting room floor, etc. front desk person was eating at desk. My husband fell off a ladder and had a baseball sized lump on his leg and a lassersion. No x-rays were done. We go to our primary because it was getting no better and she is amazed no x-rays were done and wrote up x-ray orders saying it could be a cracked tibia. Called them back the next day on day 10 they said they would call me back they never did. Called back the next day on day 11 they said since it's past day 10 it would be another 300. They had no idea why x-rays were not done but they could t help me unless we paid more. read more

My daughter almost never gets sick, and when she does of course it's when the pediatricians office is closed so I have to take her to urgent care. This place is ridiculous. I will never bring her here again. I was made to feel like I was some stupid idiot who just brings their kid in to the doctor for the hell of it. And he didn't even address all of her symptoms. The entire visit took approximately a hour a tad longer. My partner had a infected cat bite. First we have really great insurance and our copay way 55.00 which is ridiculous. Basically to sum it all up .. the nurse practitioner James .. the papers are not sitting in front of me but he would be the morbidly obese one. The reason i bring that up is because he walked in only to sit down in the chair BEHIND the patient. I'm assuming that because he's so big he probably can't stand for long periods of time? We were the last ppl in there and they were getting ready to close as a matter of fact the lobby had the key in the door. Anyways first this nurse confuses her with another patient. About a Tetanus shot. Then he starts basically arguing with her over medication she cannot take ... so he spends less than 5 minutes in the room but long enough to talk about his cat. His assistant which was extremely nice.. comes back in to give us his " report" my partner says "report" how did he get that he didn't even look at my hand !" The nurse pushes open the door and says " you got a problem with that" Ummmm it was so unprofessional. Worst place ever. After 2 hours the little boy taking vitals tells me my temp is 93! 93? REALLY//let's try and hat again! MD spent maybe 15 seconds with me (8 of which he spent writing notes. Didn't test me for strep or flu or anything--just listened to my lungs in passing--then tells me he's just going to give me an ABT snd steroids to cover everything. REALLY! Do not go here for COVID-19 Testing or anything else for that matter. It has been 5 days since I have been tested due to work exposure and still have no results. I was referred here by my daughter who got her results the next day. I am not able to return to work until I have my results. All of my co-worker's went elsewhere days after I tested and already received their results. I have attempted to call them because I need to get back to work clearance. They do not answer their phone so I decided to go in and say hey I haven't heard anything from Medpost regarding my COVID-19 results. Amanda, the front desk worker said you shouldn't have come in to get your results the Dr will call you when you are positive. She has zero personality and she acted if she could care less about helping me and reluctantly looked up my information with a huge sigh and eyeroll when I asked for her help. If she doesn't like her job find another one. People go to the clinic to be greeted by someone who WANTS to help you. I told her I tried calling to avoid having to come in and she replied "I haven't answered the phone because there are too many calls." WOW! How is that even okay in a business. Does the Management even know how she represents their company. I overheard another woman the day I got my testing done say that she has to contact Quest to get her results after 7 days. I should have known then what I would be in for. Steer clear of this place, they won't even give you a phone number to their corporate office to voice your concerns or complaints so here I am trying to save the next person from the experience. My kids always seem to get sick after hours and on weekends. We've been there for X-rays, stitches, illness, etc. we've seen at least two different doctors and several nurses over the last two years - all of whom have been very helpful and compassionate. My only complaint has to do with record keeping. We've had to fill out new paperwork bc of "computer upgrades or issues". I definitely recommend it! read more

I scheduled an appointment online for our daughter this morning, selecting the next available appointment time of 1pm. When my husband arrived with our daughter at the clinic shortly before 1pm, he was told there was no appointment for her. I sent a screen shot of the appointment confirmation to my husband to show the receptionist. She said she was sorry, there was nothing she could do, other than offer to have him wait with our daughter for more than an hour to be seen. I am beyond disappointed in the clinic and the online scheduling processes. We will not be going back. In the future, we will drive into New Braunfels to go to a competing clinic for our medical needs. read more

I have no choice I HAVE TO give a star in order to post my review. I can not give this clinic not even 1 star...I have used this clinic when it was Resolute Healthcare. I went in on Tuesday to the seguin Medpost for a Paronychia infection on my thumb that occured wirhin a couple of hours. My thumb was swollen, red, hot and burning...I was in excruciating pain that I was crying..I have not cried due to any pain in years...I was seen and I was told it was Paronychia and it had to get a puncture to allow the fluid to drain. I asked if there was anything they could give or put on my thumb so I did not feel the pain. I was told no because that would require them giving me shots at the base of my thumband it would be alot more painful, so I said ok, do what you have to do. The attendent proceeded to drain the fluid it was very painful especially the squeezing mind you I am still crying. After he was done he said that he would give an antibiotic and pain meds. We go pick up my prescriptions and I take them well, the pain is still extreme, I am waiting for the pain to subside a little...it has not. I call Medpost at 3pm, to let them know that the pain is still extreme and the 800 Ibuprofen is not working if there was anything else they could prescibe, I was told they could not prescribe anything stronger and that this was just to hold me over until I see my primary doctor...uhh, I was not told that while I was at Medpost, they should have informed me about thst before I gave them $300...I got treatment from Medpost, why would I have to go to another doctor and pay $125, to be seen for pain medication?? That is just crazy!! Today is Thursday and My thumb is still in excruciating pain and the bubble is still there, so I call Medpost again and tell them about my thumb and they inform me that I would still need to pay again to get reevaluated ..wait..what??? The PA or whatever he was told me that the bubble would not form again with fluid since he poked a hole and drained it that it will continue to drain. Well, PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE MEDPOST IS JUST CONCERNED ABOUT MONEY THEY ARE NOT CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING. WAIT TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY....I FEEL I WAS ASSAULTED AND ROBBED BY MEDPOST!! read more

Took my daughter there about a month ago, Dr. said she had sinus and to use Flonase threw the term bronchitis out like it was no big deal. So thinking he overstated my daughters symptoms, I went along with my daughters treatment. 2 weeks later she's at her pediatrician with 102 fever getting a prescription for bronchitis. Fast forward 2 more weeks, I go into this same clinic and same Doctor diagnosed me with bronchitis and was told to take care of it by clearing up my sinuses, I was not prescribed an antibiotic and my request for one was denied by the Doctor while I was still in the office and after calling back that same day to again request an antibiotic. Went to another clinic out of town the same evening for a 2nd opinion on diagnoses and treatment, and bronchitis was confirmed. Both the Doctor and Nurse at the out of town clinic was shocked I was not prescribed an antibiotic by the Doctor at this clinic. Doctor at the out of town clinic even urged me to stay home from work the next day. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! read more
