They also never sent a bill -- I'm perfectly willing to pay for what few days of service they did provide -- so apparently their office is as disorganized as their employees.

We've used Prestigious Pets for cat-sitting services a couple times in the past, and all seemed to…read morego okay. One of our cats has epilepsy and needs meds twice daily at exact times or he is likely to have seizures; therefore, combined with the fact that he's not always in the best of health, we'd previously arranged to get a confirmation text or photo so we don't have to worry about him as much when we're away. While we were out of town this weekend, the confirmation texts gradually shifted each time from about an hour after the medication was (hopefully) given to not occurring at all until we had to text ourselves and ask for confirmation that our cats had been taken care of and were okay, and meds had been given. This was frustrating enough until we arrived home and noticed, in the middle of the front mat (inside our apartment), a large unidentified white tablet. As this was highly alarming, we immediately crosschecked it against several reputable pill identification websites. OXYCONTIN. At (the unlikely) best, our sitter "just" negligently left a dangerous controlled substance which could have easily sickened or killed one of our cats in the middle of the freaking floor! Our sitter was the only person in our house while we were gone; I'd swept the entryway and moved the mat just before leaving, and it was not there; no one in the apartment has or takes it. Suddenly all the delayed updates and trouble getting in contact made so much more sense as well. I'm not out to ruin anyone's reputation here, but I could never trust the safety of my my animals to Prestigious Pets again, and I couldn't in good conscience not let others know about this incident. I'm just thankful that both of our cats came out of this situation alive and well, and that I will no longer be unknowingly endangering the health safety of my pets to someone who was supposed to be ensuring it.

Just a few of the reasons include: a) Easy booking through an online portal, which also allows you to create a detailed profile for your pet including info such as feeding schedules, medications, temperament, etc. b) Reasonable pricing. c) Excellent customer service and responsiveness to questions, schedule change requests, etc. d) Detailed updates after each cat-sit visit including photos. But the thing that really sets Wanderpups apart is the amazing care from their team of dedicated pet-sitters. Our cat is not the most cuddly or affectionate guy. He's wary of strangers. But we have been lucky enough to have a handful of repeat sitters, and each one has gone above and beyond to make friends and gain his trust. It has been amazing to see how much he has come out of his shell. Now, instead of hiding under the bed when they visit, he comes out to greet them, allows them to pet him, and gives them lots of headbutts (basically cat-speak for "I love you, you're my friend"). After exhausting all my options, I threatened to report their negligence and involve the local authorities when they suddenly changed tone and claimed he was hiding upstairs all along. She's also very flexible - you can board two cats in one spacious stall for only a little bit more than one, and she's willing to give them medications and special food if needed. Each stall is quite large, with an optional outdoor run and opening to the next stall if you have two cats that socialize together. She also takes the time to let them out of their cages individually each day so they can stretch their legs. Truly an amazing place for your cats to stay!

The owner, Shannon, was very responsive at first. When I told her where I lived, she started backtracking and listing reasons why her employees wouldn't be able to reach my apartment. She then told me she couldn't even refer another sitting service. I've had cat sitters before. Interacting with Shannon was the strangest, most frustrating conversation I've ever had. She clearly did not want to take me or my cats on as a client for reasons unbeknownst to me. I was able to find a cat sitter through another service, thankfully. I cannot recommend C-Pup.
