This place has a disgusting amount of neglect. My father rang the emergency buzzer numerous times following times of injury, and needing to relieve himself. He was ignored all night. Patient confidentiality is flagrantly violated, and staff ignore calls until the phone auto hangs up. Treatment plans are neglected, my father was yelled at and called a liar by staff, over something he would never lie about. This place needs to be gutted staff wise or shut down, pathetic is an understatement. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE. read more

My experience with CareOne at Randolph has been very positive. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable environment for residents. The staff members are compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated to the well-being of the people they care for. From the nurses to the aides and therapy staff, everyone works hard to make sure residents feel safe, supported, and respected. One thing that really stood out to me was how attentive the staff are to individual needs. They take the time to listen, provide assistance when needed, and create a welcoming atmosphere for both residents and their families. The rehabilitation and therapy services are also excellent and focused on helping residents regain strength and independence. Overall, CareOne at Randolph is a place where residents are treated with dignity and kindness. I am a senior citizen patient at Care one rehab and nursing facility in Randolf. I had major surgery on my hip Thursday and was sent to Friday evening around 5 PM. I have never in 60 years witnessed a facility like this one. I have not had my medicine since Saturday evening because they ran out and the closes on the weekends. been given the runaround and so many different reasons why. I am beside myself and I think that people should know what's going on here. I have a family member that works for the Randolf. Awful food. Everything cold or leftovers from days ago. Avoid at all cost . The aides are overwhelmed

I was in this facility for 3 weeks and thee are the things that kept it from receiving 5 stars 1) Too few nurses and assistants, especially during the weekend. There were quite a few nights where there was one nurse and one assistant for 17 patients. In my opinion this was way too few and any issue would need to wait quite a while before being addressed. This was not the fault of the personnel assigned as they were great but the fault of the facility for being short staff. 2) The food was less that stellar. Being a diabetic I was amazed at some of the breakfasts that were brought. One day I received two pieces of dry toast and 3 mini muffins, That's it. Ah, too many carbs and zero protein? There were many days when lunch was WAY over cooked. It's bad enough that you would get some mystery meat with gravy and white rice but to have it over done to the point where it was tasteless just doesn't work. 3) The beds are not comfortable in the least bit. It seemed that no matter where you tried to locate yourself there was a bar breaking you back or butt. 4) Some of the communication from shift t shift wasn't very good. The great things 1) With very few exceptions the staff were great and would help you in anyway they could. 2) The folks in the rehab section were very helpful and got me moving, even when I really didn't want to. 3) There were a few times I was upset over one thing or another and the staff took it all in without responding in kind. When apologized they were very understanding and realize that being in a rehab facility isn't the easiest thing in the world for anyone. Many thanks to those who helped me in many ways. read more

Care NONE is a more accurate name for this hell hole. The rating ZERO is not available, so subtract one from the one star I had to give it. We fought having our brother sent here after a first disastrous stay in the fall, but there were no other beds available for him upon release in December from South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA. We were trying to get him moved to a different facility. Our brother lay unattended for 18 hours while he was having a STROKE. Think about that! When my sister visited early the next morning she knew immediately what was happening - yet was told that he had already been seen by a Nurse Practitioner. HOW is it possible that - had he really been seen - a medical "professional" did not recognize the signs of stroke? Inattentive nursing station, nursing, and aide staff; family members and their concerns ignored; filthy, sticky floors; an overheated room; uncomfortable bed; essential equipment left unplugged from the wall; laying soaked in urine for hours - the list is endless. I cannot speak to the quality of care provided long-term to folks here, but I can share my experience while visiting a family member on 02/26/23. I was very impressed with how clean and welcoming the facility was, and staff were pleasant and accommodating to us. I watched nurses and other staff re-direct patients in a manner that was kind, empathetic, and maintaining their dignity. Staff maintained composure even when I witnessed several of them being yelled at by an irate and confused patient. It cannot be easy to effectively work with patients who are hostile and struggling with memory issues, but every staff person there did so with a smile on their face. Nice work! read more

Dear consumer my mom was a resident here for about three weeks in this time. She didn't receive the proper care for her ailment like Alzheimer's and her breathing problems . Mom needs oxygen constant o2 saturation to survive . None of these health condition were not addressed correctly. What she probably needed was a bed alarm for wandering feet. In hope that it could have have Prevented her "DEMISE" within three months time. Mom took a serious fall I think in her bathroom. Mom reported it the next day without no "DOCUMENTATION" from what they call there staff. What happened next is unbailable to read. she stayed in that place for about 16 hours with no care. until they let her go to the hospital. What's next for me peaceful protest comes to my mind right where anyone can see me. I am daughter Kathleen and a human. 5/25/2021 they end. GO ELSEWHERE!!! The lack of care at CareOne, Randolph was unforgiveable! They allowed my loved one to linger for days untreated for multiple infections leading to Sepsis, a deadly infection that they are unable to recover from. Although staff recommended Hospice, we opted for transfer to a Boston hospital for full evaluation, where It was discovered our loved one had pneumonia, infected, untreated bed sore, blood infection, and kidney failure, leading to their decline. PLEASE, PLEASE find a nursing home that is willing to administer the proper care and treatment, take medical steps necessary to insure the patients' well-being, as well as notify family if the patient is ill! My comment is about the care for friends of those inside the CareOne facility at Randalf. I was able to connect on a Monday with her (M.) and she was delighted. The next day I was the one who had carelessly lost her number, but her daughter who had been caring for M., graciously gave met the number again. I was delighted. But then I could not get through to M. using 781 961 1160. I was on hold for a very long time listening to advertisements. Then when I finally reached her room, there was no answer. Again I tried the next day (today, December 15) using the number above and waited while the 3-minute ad was repeated 15 times, which was waiting 45 minutes. I gave up and redialed the same number. Finally I had very, very gracious help from an employee. I would love to tell someone on staff her name for her very kind help. I was able to use a different number that allowed me in the end to speak right away to M. We were both delighted to be in touch again. JV read more

This place was so accommodating and helpful when when I had to send my mom there for rehab. Everyone from the administrative staff to the direct care staff were so friendly and eager to help whenever I had questions and they took great care of my mom. Would def recommend! read more

This place just about almost killed my father. He was there for three weeks. He went from being mobile to not being able to hold himself up in a wheelchair to eat. He had small circle bruises all over his arms indicating staff were pulling him up with his arms even though in his medical documentation and verbally reported that he had two rotators cuff surgeries on both shoulders. He was found on the floor on several occasions from falling off the bed. One evening he had a hard fall. We were told he was reaching for the phone and fell hitting his head on the night table causing him to loose some consciousness. When we saw him he had a big gash on his arm (that latter become infected) bruising all over his back arms legs. It was hard to witness. He became famished and completely dehydrated that we thought two more days he would of passed. We manipulated the staff to sending him to the ER as days later after his severe fall he fell again. We demanded blood work, X-rays, etc. we were told he was already reaccessed. I questioned that and they said the RN (looked him over) and checked to see if he could bend his arms and legs. We were finally able to get him admitted to the ER and nursing staff told us that he had layers of poop dried into his skin that they had to use scrubbing brushes to wash it off. They said it had to have been there for several weeks. He also had seVere bruising on his bottom. The nursing staff explained that those would of been caused by leaving him on the toilet for hours. I wouldn't wish this level of neglect on anyone. Please don't trust them they give u lies after lies and its all been recorded. They are scamming people out of Medicare and upper management is a joke. read more
