This privately owned facility is exactly what was needed for my struggling parents. Their one bedroom unit is comfortable and quiet. This facility is well maintained, clean, and so well run. They receive three wonderful meals a day all expertly prepared in house. Any maintenance issued are addressed immediately. The staff goes out of their way for both residents and their families. My parents receive laundry, housekeeping, medication prompting, and showering assistance. They can also take part in lots of activities and events to keep them busy. I highly recommend Grove Manor.

He got mad at me and has completely taken me off the schedule. The higher ups/HR don't do anything about the horrible way he treats and talks to employees. Please don't apply to work in dining and don't send your families here. A resident was choking and when we asked a nurse to help him, she threw her hands up and said, "What am I supposed to do?" I don't know, help him? Like you're a nurse, what kind of question is that? The whole Dining department is just a mess. You have good servers that don't get scheduled at all while the idiots and people who hide from their tables in the bathroom get multiple days. I really think it's just this branch that is so bad so maybe look in another city or state. This Brookdale will starve your family members by how bad the food is and leave them dirty and gross in their room because the nurses don't want to give them a shower.

I was once out at a nearby store and saw a friend of my moms shopping with an aide. She was being horribly verbally abused. 6) response time to calls to the concierge for help or meds is too slow. I had such an issue over the past 2 weeks with a skin irritation. After seeing several other doctors, and doing several blood tests for this, I walked in yesterday to pick up a prescription. She saw me, called me over and looked at my problem, then immediately sent me over to another skin specialist who was outside their practice( because of the weather the derm doctor had cancelled) to have a biopsy. Exact words, "if we do, it's on that wall." pointing toward the back. Next, when I found a similar dress, we needed help getting it because it was high on the wall. She immediately came over and demanded I not pull on the dress because I was going to tangle them. I am in my 50s and never been spoken to like this from a young girl. I was barely holding it out...just enough so she could see the size we wanted. I responded by saying Yes M'am! and proceeded to tell her she needed to work on her customer service skills. We left after that. Windsor, be careful who you hire. No one wants to deal with sourpuss attitudes.
