Mrs. Tanisha focuses on building a strong foundation with the students to ensure they are capable of not only doing the skill but understanding the why so that they know how and when to use that skill in the future. Most of all my son looks forward to practicing and going to rehearsals every week!

We had heard so many great reviews of Whitehall from our homeschooling community that we decided to give them a try when we saw they offered virtual lessons. Our experience with the school has been amazing! The teachers are enthusiastic and encouraging, and lessons are low-stress. Vanessa is amazing... she is a community-minded woman who walks the walk and talks the talk. And GIVES so much back!!! As a family-friendly space, PiYoDa Flow aims to provide non-competitive dance and fitness training centered around culture, community, and wellness. As soon I walked through the door last night, an amazing calmness came over me. Tonight's SOUNDBATH by @sacredsoundsbydevon was incredible... she rocks those "bowls" like I have ever heard and felt the sounds throughout my entire body, mind and spirit ...( and I have been to many others, so I speak from experience) ;) What a wonderful gift she is to this world!!! Together with Vanessa, these women are making a difference... Highly appreciated and recommended...

Nothing flashy here but plenty of eateries in the area both corporate and small businesses. The studio itself is relatively nice. I can see maybe 30 - 40 people fitting here but it really depends on the event. I like the different DJs they featured and the sound and lights were vibing. The wood floors are nice and I enjoy the decor plant decors here and there. Parking - It's in a plaza that can maybe fit 10 cars, some spots vary with time limits or they're already reserved for other businesses in the plaza. There's also street parking as well. Customer Service - Vanessa was great, very welcoming! My house dance instructor was Andrea and she was passionate and helpful. Great stuff! TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. Lovely! A good amount of space with a great range of events and at reasonable prices. Cheers to Vanessa and her team for creating this great space. I look forward to coming here for the Open House dance sessions. Advice: * PiYoDa - Pilates, Yoga, Dance * Check their social media accounts for updated information on events and workshops!

It feels more like Pilates Mat. Of the classes I've tried, almost half the time we were on the mat. Again... it's still a workout but it's not really the reformer experience I'm used to. So depends on what you're looking for The not so good: the instructors basically stood/sat in one place the whole class. Did not walk around to see or correct anyone. During a couple of the exercises I noticed I was doing something completely different because I was at the end of the class and couldn't see her and she hadn't even come over to correct me. They don't give you any context as to what the options are (I.e we are doing leg so if you want heavier do this spring if you want lighter do that spring...) I was sort of doing a trial and error. But what really bothers me is that they start the cool down when there's still 12-13 minutes left in the class. That's more than enough time to get another exercise in and then cool down and stretch. I will continue to go to the classes cause I bought the package and because it's so close to me but again... it's not your typical Pilates reformer.
