Horrible service & Horrible food!!!! Will not be returning. Ordered the curry chicken lunch special with rice and beans and green beans because they were out of cabbage. The string beans were cold and taste like they dumped them directly from the can to my platter. Disgusting!!! Made me want to vomit. The Mac wasn't bad however I really don't understand why Caribbean's feast considers rice and beans as a side option when it typically comes with your choice of meat.

The vegan/vegetarian options are amazing. It's hard to find this kind of quality food!!!

Great food, nice servers, they didn't run out of food, and they had people served and flowing...yes they did! By far the best Caribbean/Jamaican food restaurant I had in Philly (still collecting data and doing research lol). I can see why this place came highly recommended. This restaurant was previously dine in but due to Covid they are still take out only. They have the ordering area roped off to help patrons follow the direction of flow. There was a constant flow of people but social distancing was easily maintained. The lighting was a bit dim but themed well. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, plantains, and collard greens and our other order was half jerk and half bbq wings with rice and peas, mac & cheese, plantains. Everything was amazing! The jerk was very spicy like I like it, plantains we're done perfectly, and not one item was disappointing. I got a medium and the serving was huge and was enough for 2-3 meals. The price was generally high but the ingredients are usually expensive but well worth it! Can't wait for my next meal from here!

Delicious authentic Caribbean food. Jerk chicken: perfect seasoning, very tender and moist. Fried plantain is not overly fried but it's not sweet. Bbq jerk chicken: delicious barbecue seasoning. I ordered take out and the sauce can spill over so be careful. The steamed cabbage has some kick of spice.

I got this food at the food truck and I must say it is pretty reasonably priced for the food that you receive. The jerk chicken did not come with the sauce on it, so I had to ask to have the sauce added to the chicken and it's not hot at all. The jerk chicken was more or less chicken breast and not actual meat that came off of the bone. The macaroni and cheese is below average and the cabbage did have any flavor to it at all. The fried plantains were pretty sweet but I did not think that they were fried to the best of their ability. Overall I think that the dish was pretty average. You get a lot of rice and beans more than anything; I wouldn't get again

Lunch sampler: jerk chicken over beans and rice with oxtail sauce with a side of plantains

I came here today with a group of 5 people for takeout lunch and we LOVED EVERYTHING. No roti today, which was a bummer, but I loved my $6.50 lunch (jerk chicken lunch sampler with beans and rice with oxtail sauce and an extra side of plantains). It came tightly packed in a small container but it was enough food to fill me up without being stuffed. The food was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. This has been our favorite lunch experience around Temple Hospital so far!

I came here first time today. I parked right across the street. There was a few people inside eating and people was coming in and out the whole time I was there. Which showed me a good sign. The service was EXCELLENT! The staff greeted you when you walked in and smiled made jokes and me cracking up. I ordered jerk chicken, Mac and cheese with a side of greens also the oxtails, peas and rice with a side of greens. I also had a side of plantain and a bottle of ting and the peach tea. The pricing was okay and I tipped them pretty good as the service was quick and very pleasant. Now as for the taste of the plantain ... nice texture, sweet and cooked to perfection. The jerk was a little spicy and in some gravy which was different. The Mac has a different twist on it but it taste good while the greens was very flavorful with a hint of spicy it too was good. My boyfriend said his oxtails were okay just a little tuff and the peas and rice was cooked by not "fluffy " like some other Jamaican restaurants. We both agreed that we would eat here again, but it definitely wouldn't be our first choice.

In Philly for the weekend and heard great things about this place so I had to check it out myself. Upon entry the restaurant was well kept, aromas from the food were amazing and the guy behind the counter answered all my questions and even made suggestions. I selected the veggie Roti with Pink lemonade and the veggie pepper steak with a peach tea. The Veggie Roti was so good!!! I was so disappointed I only brought one to take back on my trip home! Service excellent, food amazing and tons of Veggie/Vegan options!!! Great job!

As a disclaimer, this review is just MY (and my dining partner's) experience. I don't want to be unnecessarily harsh, but I do want to be honest. I first learned about Caribbean Feast through the Caribbean Nights event featured on Yelp. It seemed like it would be for a good cause and I do love me some Caribbean cuisine, so I thought, why not? Well, let's start with the service. I think our waiter was in, like, middle school. He looked young and seemed really new to this whole thing. Not that I had a problem with this, but I guess it explains some of the other kinks of the night. He kept coming over and asking how we were, even when we were still waiting for our order to come out. What could we say to the fifth time he came over when we were just sitting there with an unopened bottle of wine, a couple of empty wine glasses and an empty table in front of us? According to the menu, dinner entrees come with soup or salad and bread, but after about half an hour with nothing (not even water), our waiter came up to us and asked us, "Do you want some salad or bread or something?" Bewildered, we said yes to the salad, which was pretty crisp and fresh. Oh yeah, speaking of wine. It's a BYOB. But you may want to bring your own corkscrew. Either that or a screwtop. Is there nothing more frustrating than being incredibly thirsty and having a bottle of wine in front of you, but nothing to open it with? After about two hours of "We're still looking for the corkscrew," our waiter finally came and told us that he could open up our bottle. After we were finished with our entrees. Props to the lady who reminded the waiter that we still had a wine bottle that needed to be opened. But all that's ancillary to what I REALLY care about: the food. Let me say, this place has the BEST corn bread I've ever had, hands down. I'd even come up here to grab a platter of corn bread and skedaddle back home. God, what do they make that with? A skillet? There's gotta be some sorcery at work here. That corn bread alone warrants a whole additional star. The portion sizes are generous; all the customers I saw eventually got takeout boxes. I was a little disappointed that my jerk shrimp and some of our side orders were drowned in a pool of oil when I received it. It was a bit difficult to taste the jerk spices around the oiliness, but once you get past that, you've got that spicy, smoky, distinctly Jamaican flavor. Juiciness can be difficult to accomplish with jerk chicken, but this place nails it. Would I come back? Maybe for takeout. Or that corn bread. But the service here was way too sketchy for me to come back for a sit-down meal; seems like made-to-order food is not their forte.

The oyster liquor makes it so the oyster remains fresh btw as well which is obviously uber important. We had oysters from Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and all of the ones we chose you could taste the unique differences from one to the next. Crab cakes were on point; the vegetables were next level with the side of asparagus coming with roe on top of it. New England soup was actually light and not heavy like most creamy NE soups which I appreciated as it made me have room for the rest of the meal. We also indulged in some Butterscotch Pudding which in my view had three distinct flavors. The very top tasted similar to sweet creme Brule, the actual pudding was creamy and delish and there was a garnish of whipped cream I believe on top. All items surpassed my expectations and we will definitely be repeat customers. Highly Recommend. As always people SYOY!!!!

Also, the bread was soft but I think the sandwich would have been better if the bread was toasted. Lastly, something tasted off about the fish.
