    Oxtails over rice & Cabbage
    Natasha P.

First time timing and my honest opinion it was okay. Not that many oxtails and the rice tastes like it was scraped from the bottom. My boyfriend had jerk chicken no picture but that was really good. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Our cabbage was okay. We both got the homemade watermelon juice which was refreshing. I would definitely go back but just for the jerk chicken or maybe curry chicken.

Surprisingly to say I was a disappointed with my oxtail platter and my side macaroni. The oxtails were too salty and the macaroni taste like box macaroni docker up.

This Jamacian place is an absolute gem. We got the Curry Chicken over Cabbage and White Rice and Jerk Chicken with Greens & Rice. All flavors were amazing. They sell out of plantains fast. & The watermelon Juice is super fresh!! The service was great. They are very attentive to what you would want. The location can be very intimidating especially if you go at night but it's worth it. Go support and check them out for yourself!

Decided to sleep in today and woke up craving Jamaican food. My friend went and grabbed some take out from little precious- ordered me brown stewed chicken rice n peas cabbage. Everything was good and seasoned well. I could not finish the platter in one take, so I will have the rest for lunch tomorrow.

Authentic flavor and generous portions. Not the best Jamaican food I ever had, but would I order from little delicious again, sure. The sides were my favorite! I ordered the red peas and rice, and collard greens. The curry chicken was good as well, good flavor and decent spice. The jerk chicken however didn't do it for me. A lot of bones and not enough spice. Tasted more like brown stew chicken than jerk chicken. The beef patty was pretty basic, but tasted like the frozen kind.

Little Delicious is just as the name implies, except I wouldn't describe the portions as "little" in the slightest. I came here with some colleagues for lunch on a weekday and it absolutely hit the spot. The interior is a nice space where you order food at the counter in the back and either take food to go or sit in the dining booths. The jerk chicken (wet-style) was expertly cooked and had great flavor. My favorite part of the dish was the amazing sides. We tried the rice & beans, plantains, and collard greens - all were fantastic, especially the plantains. The small platter size with a side is plenty of food for lunch and I'll probably be having some for dinner as well. I saw they had Mac & Cheese on the menu but looks like they've only got it on Fridays and weekends so we'll have to come back. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Really wonderful people.

This is the best Jamaican restaurant in Philadelphia. If I lived closer I'd eat this twice a week. This is my specialty. Much Love From Chester PA! My Order Looked Delicious And Tasted Amazing.

    Little Delicious menu and prices.

Never disappoints. Huge platter fed 3 people! Delicious, just as promised. If you're not ready for spicy, you're not ready for this, it's a little peppery, but I like hot so it was great for me. With oxtail gravy.

Oxtails taste sweet and needed salt and the right base for the sauce..was lacking the appropriate flavor profile. The rice tasted like basmati which is cool for Indian cuisines but usually with dishes like Oxtails or Jerk Chicken I'd expect red beans and white grain rice cooked in coconut milk for the flavor profile. Mussels are delicious, they just don't give you a lot of them if you go during any of their prefixed menu offerings. Coconut shrimp are good. Carrot cake was one of the best I've tasted in a long time. Even if your not a fan of carrot cake I think you'll enjoy. There weren't big chunks of fruit or nuts inside. It was layered, fluffy, moist, cream cheese icing spot on, just really spot on. I could have ordered a cake to go and left the food. Drinks are pricey for what you get in return. Some of the drinks are watered down, like their "Sex on the Boat." They give it to you in this cute boat shaped dish with a straw with flashing lights (photo/vid attached) but there's a ton of ice and not much alcohol or flavor. You also have to wait for your entire party before ordering appetizers. Very strange to me. Most places will allow you to order drinks and appetizers while you wait for the rest of your party. Also be mindful that there's an 18% charge for credit card. If that bothers you be prepared to bring cash. They typically will only allow you to split the check two ways so for larger parties it's best to bring cash to avoid confusion when everyone is paying for themselves.

So my brother and I decided to head over to see if what I heard was true. I'm happy to report, it was very very good! Some things to note: They take cash only. They have an ATM inside just in case, but make sure you have cash only you before you go. Make sure you pay attention when traveling to this establishment, as there are many intersections, one way streets, and streets that go from two to one lane. Also, there may be someone who will ask you to get them some food. Once we parked the car, we heard the reggae music coming from their front door. You can't miss it. The menu is on the wall, as well as being taped down to the counter by the order window. If they're out of something they will let you know before you order. When I went they were out of oxtail (a highly sought after dish in Caribbean cuisine). I had the jerk chicken with collard greens, white rice, and macaroni and cheese. My brother ordered the fried whiting, but I guess she didn't hear him correctly (trust me the music there is quite loud inside even though it's even louder outside), because he got the same thing I did. Now, we drove home, the car smelling amazing, and I forgot to take some photos for this review. But even so, I will definitely be back. The food was excellent, the prices were decent, and the service was fast. If you're looking for an adventure, check out Jamaican D's!

Unfortunately, the steak had quite a bit of fat around it, which isn't my favorite. When the food arrived, the rice was packed into a small cup, which made me think everything would be served hot. Unfortunately, none of the food was warm. Everything was room temperature and lacked flavor. Because it took a while for my meal to arrive, I got the impression that it may have been sitting out before being served. I ate it as it was because I didn't want to wait any longer. Taste-wise, the steak needed more seasoning, although the beans were good. Overall, the meal was average. After finishing, I asked for both a to-go box and the check. About 10 minutes later, the check arrived, but no box. One employee, William, really stood out. Whenever he stopped by, he was attentive, friendly, and on top of things. I appreciated his service and how proactive he was in checking on guests. Overall, the service had some delays, the food temperature was disappointing, and the flavors were underwhelming, not sure if I'll try this place again.
