Recently Started goin here faithfully until I met the owner for the first time..... upon entering, the woman had an incredibly DISRESPECTFUL rude attitude. To the point where she made me an my guest feel so uncomfortable I actually got a refund and took my business elsewhere. She chased away returning customers... such a shame cuz this place was so convenient for my travels. As a grown adult an business owner you should never treat your customers disrespectfully.. I came to this place because the tanning salon I was going to abruptly closed. So frantically I search for place with spray tans and I came across this place. Facility was inviting clean friendly couldn't have asked for more. I'm new to spray tanning so she walked me through the whole thing answered all of my questions and was so patient with me unbelievable customer service. I was only doing the spray tan for a photoshoot but now I think I'm going to become a loyal customer because I love how I look just a little sun-kissed. This is hands down the best tanning salon I have ever been to and I have gone to a handful in the past. The equipment is always perfectly clean and the power of the beds are amazing. I was tan within 2-3 visits which is shorter than any other place I've been to before. On top of that, my favorite thing about this place is the customer service. Each and every employee brightens my day when I (and 4 of my other friends) walk in. They are always happy, exceptionally nice, and offer to change the music to whatever we would like. Going tanning sometimes seems like a chore but I have never felt like that going to Caribbean Tans. My friends and I get excited to go and see whoever is working that day and also feel the comfort of the calming environment there. 10/10 recommend. read more

I must say, I'm really glad I finally gave Caribbean tan a try. Growing up in town, I remember receiving many ads via Facebook and Myspace but for one reason or another never ended up tanning here. Fast forward a few years, and I am now kicking myself for not having tried them out sooner! I have gone to many different tanning salons and this spring, finally got fed up with the "contract" and "automatic debit" agreements the majority of tanning salons in RI seem to have these days. Conveniently, Caribbean Tan had just opened their brand new building in Cumberland so I decided to stop in and see what they had to offer. From the outside, the building doesn't look like much but the inside has been completely remodeled and looks very nice. They have many different machines to use and offer an abundance of payment options, all of which are pay as you go and do not invade any or your personal accounts! They also offer all the popular tanning lotions at prices much lower than other salons in the area. The building is not fully finished just yet but is fully operational and it's definitely worth it to take advantage of the pre-summer offers Caribbean Tan has been promoting. The two girls I've encountered, so far, working here, are helpful, professional and pleasant. This is such a welcome change from the other most popular salon (I won't mention the name here) in the state. It is so nice to enter and not be accosted by an unpleasant immature millennial with an unnecessary attitude. It is a clean, very nice looking comfortable, cute salon. It's owner is female so maybe this is why.Their spray machine room should have some ventilation. Also, they should offer more specials so I would purchase more. read more

Their beds/booths are maintained very well. They offer lower-end beds/booths as well as higher-end tanning with stronger bulbs. The service is great, the owner is extremely friendly and they offer many different discounts & sales to entice customers. Now that it is under new management I love going to Caribbean Tan. The ladies that work there are very friendly and helpful. They have everything you need for a great tan. The shop is very clean and neat. The spay tanning is out of this world and the tanning booth gave me a great tan with just a couple of visits. I give them 5 stars.
