This cafeteria is long overdue for remodeling. It's worn down and not appealing. This time the bread looked like it was left over from before. They did not have any boiled malanga, boniato or plantains. The boliche did not have the chorizo in the center and probably because they were very thin cuts of meat (unlike the original dish). Good food! I ordered the Vaca Frita and it was delicious. Also ordered a Caesar salad that was ok. I read some reviews saying there was no air conditioning. They had air conditioning on when I was there and it was nice. Very friendly staff. Super friendly staff. Went over backwards to make sure everything was delightful and perfect. Lots of warm smiles happy people. The food was quite delicious with hot and it got to my table quickly. The coffee is fantastic and Cuban bread was something else. I'll give this place a 10 star rating. Come on coffee for $.95 and two americano coffee's for $3.18. This place has the best prices ever. Also we got five scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, potatoes and Cuban bread for $12.49. I hope this place starts charging more because her not charging enough to stay in this kind of business. Everything was cooked well and provided a flavorful experience. The order of bacon is hugeeeeeeeee. I could have gotten away with 1 order but I'm so accustom to 3-4 slices being considered an "order" I wanted to plan ahead. Guess I was way wrong! I also ordered a Lemonade which was homemade and made to perfection. I tried my hardest to savor it, but it was so good I don't think it lasted 2 minutes. LoL! Awesome Cuban breakfast spot with all sorts of options all the time. We showed up at 6am, and they were just opening, so no one else was there. We sat down and were quickly greeted with menus. Even though it was breakfast, we went with typical lunch sandwiches (pan con bistec, cubano), and they were great. We also had coffees and water. The food was cooked well on incredible Cuban bread. The person I was with was not from the area, and couldn't believe how good the bread was. We also had a collada, and it was made to perfection. Service, atmosphere, and food were all great. A co-worker brought this to our work for one of our company's luncheon. I along with the rest of the team couldn't stop asking what exactly we were eating as it was dubious. For months after, I kept asking him where did he get it from and what was it called. Well, finally today, before he left on vacation I asked him again and he game the details. I immediately called thinking that this was made on a special order basis and I was surprised that they said that it would only take 30 minutes for me to pick up this delicious concoction. The staff was friendly and since there were no customers, I didn't have to wait at all. I had order a Tambor for 5 people and it cost $45.00. plus tax. So not too shabby. Caribe Café catered my Christmas meal. I ordered 2 different things: 1-Roasted pork, Moro and yuca & 2- Arroz Imperial with maduros. The food was delicious and all my guests loved it. The pork was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the Moro was perfect and the yuca was great. The arroz imperial was very flavorful and moist and the maduros were good. First the food came the waitress left and did not give us a chance to say we have no utensils lol After a couple of minutes trying to get her attention by waving our arms in the air someone else came and brought us the utensils Than one item of food that was ordered was missing That took a little while to eventually get but had to ask for it . Not the prettiest place but there are lots of tables to sit at, friendly service, and a huge menu. We bought the classic mofongo and it was moist and tasty. We had the breaded chicken and it had a nice light breading to it and was huge. The rice was well cooked and the black beans were delicious. The dessert was a fried yeast donut but they place it in some type of sweet syrup which ruined it. The restrooms need improvement big time. read more

This is my favorite spot to eat breakfast. The staff is super attentive and always making sure your area is clean. I try getting different things every time but one of my fav things is a turnover with Central American white cheese inside. My usual is scramble eggs with cheese and ham, the French fries are super crunchy and seasoned and it also comes with cafe con leche and tostada of your choice of French or Cuban bread on the side...... My all time favorite dish here has been the vaca frita, with moros and tostones. BOMB. They also make good chicharones de pescado, arroz con pollo, and carne con papa. My dine in experience was bland... The decor is cheap and tacky ocean blue walls and 80's tiki pictures. Waitresses don't take care of their tables. We had tried to go somewhere else without a reservation on a typical busy Miami Saturday night and it was too crowded, and I was major peeved when I recognized the parking lot/strip center he had pulled into. The decor was definitely an upgrade from what was there before, and there was a nice long painted mural of Havana above the bar. Our waitress was very nice and was only 8 months in from Cuba. We were brought a basket of garlic bread. Tasty, but could have used a bit more garlic butter. I ordered the grilled chicken breast, a side salad, and moros. The chicken was yummy and tender, though it still had the skin in it, which was not crunchy, so I tore it off. The salad had three big tomato slices and some onions and cucumber slices. No signature dressing -- just plain oil and vinegar in the table, though they brought some ranch dressing packets when asked. And the moros was good. My husband and daughter both ordered bistec empanizado, and were impressed by the taste and generous portions. Actually, we all took home generous to go boxes. YELPERS - definitely check in and take advantage of the free dessert. Some guy there seemed reluctant to give it to us - wanting me to actually first show him my finished YELP review. But I told him I was for sure writing it when I got home later, and he backed off. We chose tres leches, which was delicious and ample enough for us to share. I visited the outside bakery. This is a small restaurant in a plaza. The area is OK. - The Restaurant is very visible when you're driving down Flagler. During my school break, which is only 10 minutes, I passed by Caribe for a Colada and a Pan con Queso Crema. I told the waitress I was in a rush and she still took a while to hand me my food. Cant beat that! I had ham cut up and mixed into my scrambled eggs, and hubby ordered bacon and his eggs sunny side up. First thing to come out are the cafe con leche and tostada orders.. I cant tell you how long its been since I've had tostada! Everyone prepared their cafe con leches (why is that always so much fun? lol) and we immediately began on our tostada. A very short time later our breakfasts arrived. The servings were very generous. Most couldnt finish their plates. 6 people = $30. I will definitely be back here. I order seared fish - it came lightly breaded in flour. I order rice, plantain and salad - it came with rice, plantains and black beans! I was really looking forward to having my salad. When i called the restaurant the lady blame it on Yelp because she's called to change the side menu. When i asked her why didn't she call me - she had no response. Have ordered here quite a few times since they deliver to my office. All I have ordered from here have been steak sandwiches and chicken sandwiches but my lord, how difficult must it be to get an order correct. If you ask for extra mayo they barely put any. if you ask for no onions they still put them on.... as far as taste goes, there is not really much of a complaint so they get 3 stars for that but could get better at customer service and just following instructions with orders. read more
