Best Cuban restaurant in Miami, the breakfast is unmatched and the service is friendly and fast always. Very casual ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating (covered). As a Cuban I take my Cuban family here and they're always happy, my American wife also loves it and asks for Cuban breakfast from here weekly (either delivered or we go in person, either way it's consistently great). This place was so good! I've only had their ham and cheese empanadas before actually eating here and those literally made my day whenever I had them! They're so delicious and juicy and fresh every bite was so enjoyable! We got the food delivered to us and they came and delivered it a whole 15 minutes before the time they had given us. The food was so fresh and so warm it felt like they just cooked it in the kitchen. Higher prices which I understand but smaller portions and lower quality at the same time is not ok.. I understand inflation and all of that but to be true it's cheap food, extra, extra greasy .. they are not even trying anymore! It's very small but the food was really delicious! It's better than some pricier places. It could use some sprucing up of the decor inside and the restrooms are outside which I didn't like. The ladies room which is in the parking lot may have had a broken lock. It's got a tiny bar and authentic flan and tres and cuatro leches. My dad and I showed up here on a Saturday morning to get some fuel before moving! I stumbled upon this cozy little Cuban joint by pure chance. I was picking up a UHaul truck and this was the closest Cuban restaurant. The parking lot was slammed so I thought this place was big, but to my surprise it's tiny! We were sat right away. Our server was lovely but very busy. I ordered two eggs, fried, with bacon, house potatoes and tostada. My dad ordered steak and eggs with house potatoes and tostada. Both came with coffee. Additionally we ordered an empanada de pollo to try. The coffee took ages to come out, which was hard on sleep deprived me. The empanada came out as beef instead of chicken. Besides these small issues, I imagine it was because they were very busy, the food was phenomenal. Delicious! Coffee was great as well. It's a shame that I'm moving but I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area. It's probably the best breakfast I've had all month! read more

The service was very good the waitresses were friendly and above all the place was very clean. I noticed the staff was cleaning extensively the whole time I was eating so that's always a plus. Great little place. Primarily Cuban food but also feature several Latin American plates and some classic Spanish dishes. Everything we have ever ordered from this place has been really good. Portions are very generous and prices are extremely reasonable. Wait staff has been the same for at least the last couple of years and they are very welcoming and responsive. We've dined in and also ordered "Cantinas" for the week (where you pre-pay/order dinner for the week). Decent menu to choose from and you get a soup, main dish, 2x sides all for about $8. You can't beat that! Dishes we've tried that I'd recommend: Pollo Vaca Frita (excellent!), Jalea Mixta (mixed fried seafood), Churrasco steak, Filete de Pescado frito (I think they use Basa fish and it's soft, juicy and yummy!). Their Mashed potatoes are real (you can see the skins in them). As mentioned before - all their soups are really good (try their seafood soup!) and beans and stews are really good also. Sad to place this review today after a horrible experience. First, I would like to start by saying that we have been longtime and loyal customers of this business-supporting them DAILY for years-especially throughout COVID uncertainty when they were in danger of shutting down. We currently order from them at least weekly to continue supporting this business and the staff we felt were like family. Today we ordered breakfast for the whole family, but one order was missing. We called to advise and they insisted that the order was included, basically calling us liars, despite one of our children sitting without food. After speaking to the manager and explaining the situation, we only received an offer to credit a FUTURE order and ZERO apology or empathy. Their delivery driver could not deliver the missing order either because we were "too far" despite being 10 min away even in traffic. Bottom line, the food is great-but don't expect any issues to be corrected or any attempt to make them right by the rude, unprofessional and unfit management. We will NEVER order again or recommend family and friends. read more

Great Food! but terrible customer service, Especially take out, I've had a few instances that I ordered take out and they have forgotten one of the sides. Today, I told the Lady that she forgot two days ago to add the fried plantains to my order, she stated " you need to call as soon as you opened the meal and tell us we forgot to add the side" I told her that was silly, and its not like I'm claiming that the forgot a LOBSTER meal and expect them to correct the order two days later. I used to do take out 3 to 4 times a week, they just lost me as a customer! The proper response would have been I'm very sorry, please call us next time so we can identify the problem and offer me the fried plantains that are only $2.00 with my current order. read more
