I can count on one hand how many times I have made a negative post such as the one ahead, but the…read moresituation my wife was in this morning is the type that I cannot be quiet about. This morning, while at Momma Rabbit's Nibbles and Sips, my wife, our barely 2 year old son and a friend were told by who I assume to be one of the owners, that if she was not able to "quiet" my child down, she would have to "take him outside" for fear that he make start to "rile other kids that were there up, and we can't have that". My son, who, again is barely 2, sat in his high chair the entire time, threw not one piece of food on the ground, and sat as politely as a 2 year old could, occasionally cheering "YEAHH" whenever our friend or my wife did something he found entertaining. YES his voice was elevated the few times he cheered, YES there were SIX other children of varying ages in the restaurant all making noises (as all children do), YES it is a very casual restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, and YES there was a grown man sitting at a table near them talking on the phone, on speaker I will point out, for several minutes. So to say that both her and our friend were shocked would be the understatement of the year. We have visited this restaurant on countless occasions, with friends, with my wife, with my children, purchased freezer meals from them, done our parts of supporting a small local business, all to be told to quiet our child down who was making far less noise than many other people were in this restaurant. My wife spent most of her young adult and adult career working in and managing numerous successful restaurants spanning an almost 11 year period. I am appalled, disgusted, and saddened at this clear lack of compassion, professionalism, and customer service. And we wonder why moms are fearful to take their children out in public these days. We will unfortunately not return to Momma Rabbits, ever.

I wanted a veggie sub and I asked if it could be prepared separately from the meat. I was expecting the person helping me to simply clean the knife and prep area. However, Ruby went above and beyond and cleaned the slicer which I learned was quite a job! She did it with care and thoroughnesses which was a pleasant surprise. Jay greeted me with a smile and finished my sub quickly. The entire experience was refreshing and a level of service you don't see enough of today. The restaurant was very clean, all employees were washing their hands repeatedly, the bathroom was clean, I can't say enough. I'd stop here every time I come through this area just based on the service alone. I haven't even tried my sub yet because I wanted to write this review. My first experience with this brand was a 10/10. Thank you, Ruby and Jay. I wish I could've left a bigger cash tip!

There aren't many places you can get a sub and fries or chips, but this is one of them. It is a true mom and pop shop. Steve and his wife are usually around somewhere. If they aren't there then their son is. Give it a try if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

I always have ordered the meatball sub. It used to be that I would have to struggle to get my mouth around those delicious meat balls. But over the past three visits, the meat balls are subpar! I seriously thought they were just running low on meat the first time my sandwich had two meatballs. The last two times the meatballs have been the size of marbles. I really would love to continue eating here but I can't support the lack of food that I've been given the past three times. It's been a hard and sad decision because I loved their meatball sandwiches but honestly "Where's the Beef?" If you fix the issue, please shoot me a message because I really do love the food. I just can't validate spending $10 plus my gas to get a sandwich full of sauce, two micro meatballs and a bunch of sauce. Please make it right again. Please!
