The location looked promising, but the office floor was filthy -- I had to cover it with my own carpet. The electrical was failing: lamps flickered or cut out when I plugged in a kettle. It got very cold in winter because the heating couldn't keep up. There was also a break-in on the second floor that left several offices ransacked. Worst of all, the owners have been promising to return my deposit of over $700 since January. Every time I follow up they either ignore me or say they'll "look into it." Five months on, still nothing. The deposit dispute is now headed to small claims court.

They have a great community of people and businesses, and they seem to be doing a lot of cool stuff. The space is conveniently located in downtown Redmond, so it's a great location for plenty of people. Their events have all been great! Great snacks and great speakers. I have never really been part of a co-working office, but I think it's a really cool idea. I love that you can get a regular office and access at all hours, or you can join as a limited member that doesn't have a set space or need to pay to be there full-time. The office address and reception services also seem useful for some businesses. Looking forward to visiting Thinkspace again!

Sorry about this…read more... Parking is nonexistent for this facility. My people had to park all over the neighborhood and one person was advised by the front desk to park in the 7-11 parking lot... Seriously? Add to that, no clear guidance upon arrival to meeting space. My attendees couldn't figure out where to enter the building, nor where to go once in the "back" front door. Then after finding their way to the reception area, were informed the meeting space was back down on the first floor. So all my attendees arrive to the meeting stressed and annoyed. Was the meeting room nice, yes. Were all the features in the room good, yes. But that won't make up for setting the attendees on edge in the arrival process.

Layout wise, they have a decent size multi-purpose room with kitchen. It is big enough to have a low height stage, and its capacity is 150 guests. They have three conference rooms that also acts as meeting rooms or classrooms. These spaces are available for rent. The online link has photos of these spaces. A reception area with a few couches and a bookcase is just inside the entry. I have seen people, young and old on these couches, mingling, and just hanging out here at all hours. They offer senior activities during the daytime, as well as community classes throughout the day and evening. I have taken yoga classes as well as a stretching class. The class catalog is available online. Both Kirkland and non-Kirkland residents can sign up. During special occasions, they host bigger events for the greater community. The most recent is a Lunar New Year celebration with children's activities indoors inside the community center, the kitchen offered spring rolls to snack, the adjacent teen center building held performances, and a Chinese Lion Dance team entertained everyone outdoors on a beautiful day. It was a blast!

Tirzah smoked cigarettes right outside of our business. Her unprofessionalism was unbelievable because she was petty on behalf of her friend who decided to open the same business as us. She moved her friend right next to us, came into our building without asking on the weekends (we have video proof), let her friend take things from our unit and then even tried to raise our rent on us hoping to drive us out. We rented 3 spaces from here and the 3rd space had a disgusting floor. We asked if they could clean or replace the floor before we moved in but she told us she could not so I paid for the floors to be replaced. She agreed if we replaced the floor, she could do the free trimming for us. The job she did was A JOKE and I have posted photos of it on yelp. I have held back from writing anything but since we have moved out, I still feel like these problems need to be addressed because there is no way a manager of a building where people operate their business should treat tenants in this way. They made a huge hole in our wall and told us they would fix it but never did. No explanation on what the hole was even for. We also told them we did not have hot water in November of 2019 because of something they messed with. In January of 2020 I reminded if she could fix the hot water, and she rudely said she will. Then quarantine happened. Months passed and the hole in the wall hasn't been fixed, yet she's still charging every month for rent ... which makes no sense because weren't we paying rent for them to fulfill their landlord duties? In June when we could open up again and the stay at home order was lifted, we asked if they had fixed the hot water issue so our clients could wash their hands because it was essential for us to have for our business and she replies she had been too busy to do it. We moved out July of 2020 and moved out all of our things and they still charge us cleaning fees. Extremely unprofessional to come into our unit without notice, not fix essential things to keep our business operating, and reply to tenants in the way she did. Flash forward to the end of July when we had already moved out of the work spaces -- you would think that our problems would end there. We needed to change our address so Google sent us mail to the work spaces in order to confirm our address. We had emailed Tirzah asking for her to keep an eye out for the mail but she instead confirmed that we were still at the old addresses which complicated our clients' appointments because Google would route them to Creative Work Space. I have accounts from numerous clients who have told me they went to our old location, only to be told by the manager that we were still there and pointing them into the direction of her friend's business. The logical thing would've been to inform our clients that we have moved instead of sending them on a goose chase. To anyone thinking of moving here, don't! There's sketchy people around the building and there's never parking anywhere. Not to mention the shared bathrooms always get vandalized and smell terrible. The bathroom doesn't lock so people can walk in on you.

The repair guys are pretty decent but that could be because everything is still so new. My worst complaint is about the management team. They raised the rent by $300 dollars after only 4 months! That in itself should be illegal but they found a loophole via community amenities. Then when I finish moving to my new place I gave them the keys a couple days early because I was done with everything. They charged me "accelerated rent" to the tune of $1200 just for giving them the keys 2 days early. If I would have known they would pull something like that I would've just held the keys for a couple more days. The only upside is the people who live here are pretty friendly. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy unless you just like throwing money at this place.

They should really consider renaming this community to 'Racist/Age-ist Village'…read more I live next to this place and have a few acquaintances who i have developed as they visit our property usually walking their dogs(note our society is private property and we dont treat these people poorly). I was on my way to visit one of them when one of the residents there took exception to me being there and told me to get off private property. I told her I was visiting someone and she told me she would call the police unless I told her who i was visiting. I asked her what authority she had to be asking me and she had no answer other than it was private property. It looked like she had done this kind of harassment before and was used to getting her way. Anyway, I told the person I was visiting about the incident and they told me that some residents are 'racist' and use the management to make the society more exclusionist. Over the next few days other people told me the same thing so I decided to complain. I wrote an email to property management as this community is run by a government organization (KCHA). After multiple reminders I was able to get responses to only 2 of my emails. They told me that the resident was probably surprised to see me as its a 55+ community. They did not answer any questions on what authority this resident had and if they did anything wrong showing implicit support to the racism. Through FOIA requests I was able to discover this racist resident took my photos (which she is allowed to on public property lol) and had contacted the HOA. The HOA conveniently forgot to tell me about this and were chatting about this in the background. They also told me they have a rule around guests being accompanied by residents at all times, this representation was made by 'Marcia Long | Property Specialist, Friendly Village'. They stopped responding when i asked for the specific rule. It would be a very hard rule to actually implement as you can imagine it means that all residents must meet guests at the entrance. Through a FOIA request I got the rule they were supposedly referring to and it turned out she had blatantly lied to me. There is no such rule, there is however a rule that is specific to children and teenagers which i can assure you I dont look like or for those staying beyond 15 days. So, in short this is a poorly run, atleast partially taxpayer funded community where residents are encouraged to harass visitors and property management instead of educating the residents is more concerned with lying to defend their agenda and withholding information. Another great example of why the government should not be in business as it leads to zero accountability.

Wife and I lived there for 2+ years. We've had to be forced 5 different times within this period to…read moreallow different vendors to come in, and do maintenance work in the unit. One of the worst experiences that I've had since living there was last year they needed to do some maintenance in the parking garage. So what did they force ALL of their tenants in towers 1 and 2, to do? They forced everyone to pay for their own parking, off site, for a whole month. That's right, they made ALL of the tenants who lived there, to not only pay for their own parking for a whole month, they also made everyone park off site, and make their own arrangements to do so. We've had water floods from the above unit three times. I want to give more information, but my blood is boiling over just thinking about this situation all over again. We had a balcony as well, and the units above would constantly toss their trash, food, and cigarette butts onto our balcony. Management wouldn't really do anything about it. Most of the concierge there are friendly, in fact very much so. But one or two of them have been very nasty. One of the very nasty ones, thankfully no longer works there. At any rate, I'm through with this place. Wife and I wanted to buy a unit there, but no way in hell we'd ever even consider it again. Stay away.....far away. -j

Parking situation for Guests is incredibly bad and probably the worst one among other Condominiums…read morein Bellevue Downtown. The condominium has two parking Garages: Retail Parking: WA Square validate parking only up to four hours for your guests. Guests who come to your place and stay more than four hours, have to pay parking at an hourly rate or find street parking. WA Square did have overnight parking passes (although limited in amount), however the management decided to stop that program starting from January 2013. WA square overlooked parking situation for your guests (as opposed to what is stated on their official website) and they aggravated the guests parking situation by their decision to discontinue the overnight parking passes program. Garage with limited spots where guests can stay only for four hours: Guests who stay there more than four hours will have their car towed. They will not get a ticket, nor a warning, but something along the lines of 500 $ bill of towing charges. That actually happened to one of my guests.
