We were in town for business and this was a lovely place for lodging. Nicky and Arman at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was nicely curated and there was great space for working and lining up our supermarket sushi from the nearby QFC grocery store that Nicky recommended. The little loveseat and ottoman served us perfectly as we enjoyed watching our favorite programs. The room was very clean. The road noise on the north side was more than what I'm used to but I slept very well. read more

The staff has been welcoming, the rooms are clean and plenty of restaurant options around. They offer drinks and food at breathtaking and dinner but it is not included. Wonder service! On multiple occasions the front desk staff went above and beyond! We stayed on a Saturday night prior to a cruise. We wanted to visit château, Sainte Michelle and the other nearby tap rooms prior to leaving on the cruise. This hotel is near the vineyard. The front desk staff helped get us switched to a room that better suited our needs, got us fresh coffee in the morning before the restaurant was opened, helped us pick a dinner restaurant. They were great! The hotel was clean and comfortable. As would be expected from a Courtyard brand. read more

We picked this hotel because we had flown up to visit our daughter, who lives in Kirkland, and it was part of a package deal with Expedia. Right off the bat, I was very impressed with how spacious the room was. Besides the king sized bed, there's a sleeper sofa and desk, and the desk has a roll-out table underneath that's handy for holding snacks & food. Lots of electric outlets; I counted 14 (including the 2 in the bathroom) plus 2 USB ports. Easy to control the temperature using the thermostat that was connected to the dedicated AC/heating unit in the room. Amenities included a microwave, single-cup coffee maker, and mini-fridge. Lots of lights; I like keeping a small light on at night to make it easier to find the bathroom in the middle of the night, and the light that was above the microwave was small enough not to be too bright, but light enough to find my way around. No dedicated smoking area on the property in case you're a smoker. Staff was very friendly. We didn't do any dining at the hotel since we were out eating all the time with our daughter. There's a small convenience "store" off the lobby, but there's a QFC grocery store (a Kroger brand) that's within easy walking distance across the street. There's also a few EV charging stations in the QFC parking lot. My only complaint is where they mounted the towel rack. It's right above the toilet, across from the bathtub, so it's not very convenient to grab a towel after a shower. You have to put the towel on the floor if you want to towel off in the tub (which I like to do). read more

Courtyard by Marriott, Seattle Kirkland. I am so impressed with this hotel! I tried to get a room the day prior but they were fully booked due to the mega Taylor Swift concert. Glad I finally got a room Sunday, July 23rd with a rate of $237, Taxes and Fees from Expedia were $30 for a total of $267. This Kirkland Marriott is located on NE 124th Street, off the 405 freeway in a beautiful suburb of Seattle, called Kirkland. Parking is plentiful behind the hotel, where the main entrance is located. Check-in was a breeze; access to my room was quick and easy. The waiting area/lobby chairs are comfortable and nicely laid out. The dining area cozy, with a very adequate menu, particularly with the Starbucks items included. My room, #318 was fantastic for being a basic King bed room. Pros: All on/off switches in the room are easily and logically accessible. Every area I sat, there were power and usb outlets. This is easily the best designed hotel room I have ever been in! Someone put a lot of thought into the interior layout. The room is clean, modern and comfortable. Bed nice and firm, with four super soft pillows. All bedding was clean like it had been changed prior to my arrival. Same goes for all towels. (If you travel a lot, you probably know this is not always the case.) The room was so comfortable; I slept so well, I did not want to leave! Excellent modern fixtures like the large beautiful wood grained desk, that actually had an additional supplemental rolling desk under it. The TV, refrigerator, and air conditioner all worked and were simple to control. The bathroom had nicely placed amenities. I particularly liked the placement of the soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. (So much better under the shower-head versus having them in the rear.) Cons: Absolutely none! read more

Honestly this hotel was better than I thought it would be. We stayed for 3 nights and it had more pros than cons for sure. Pros: The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. We slept so well, which is what you look for in a hotel where you are mainly just there to spend the night. The location was perfect for if you are hungry there are restaurants and stores all around. It is easy to get anywhere. The cafe in the morning was nice for coffee. Cons: The bistro has weird hours, and is not open for dinner on the weekends. We found that odd as we were excited to try the dinner options and it was going to be convenient but we ended up having to walk to olive garden. The employees were also indifferent. They did not acknowledge you when you walk through the lobby, their answers were short and it almost felt like you were bugging them. Parking is 15//day which is ridiculous. There is a huge empty parking lot, it made no sense. There is no other option so it felt a bit like a money grab. Also we go no housekeeping service while we were there which we specifically asked for. Overall it was a good stay, got the job done, and even with the issues we would go back mainly for the bed. **The only exception to the employee issue was the girl working the FD the last day (monday morning) I believe her name was Kaitlyn? She was amazing and so professional and kind. She deserves a promotion. read more

The Marriott Courtyard is one of the very worst motels I have ever stayed in. The service is horrible and the staff non responsive. I checked in this past Friday. There has been no housekeeping service and it is already Sunday. afternoon . No fresh towels or linens or any cleaning. I complained to the manager and he would not ask housekeeping to prioritize our room for cleaning. All he did is tell me how many housekeeping staff. He had and the number of rooms they need to clean. Thats his problem not mine. If you need to come to Kirkland WA don't stay at the Courtyard Marriott. read more

We signed up for the elite program (which is free) just to get the breakfast option when we made our reservation. Trust me, it was worth it! Take a look at my pictures! It was not only worth the money but it was a very delicious breakfast both mornings. Also, not pictured, is the fact that Starbucks coffee was included in the breakfast as well. The staff was very very kind and parking was very easy. It is $5 per night for parking but that's not that bad for the area. Good location. Olive Garden is next door, a grocery store across the street. Wendys, Mcdonalds, Taco Time and Five Guys were very close by. On site parking is $12 a day. Housekeeping is every other day. I waa able to make requests via the chat options in the app and got help quickly. They have full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. There is a small bistro downstairs with food and coffee, etc. I liked the location. Quiet and lots of food options and downtown Seattle was not too far away. Only con was that our room is near the road so could hear the traffic when ac was not on. We would stay here again. read more

One generally selects a hotel based on name recognition, rate, and reputation, but sometimes it's not always as it seems. The area near the hotel is great! Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and only miles from the tourist district of wineries. The lobby is nice looking, the staff is friendly and the grounds are pretty. Entering the room, we realized housekeeping needed significant help. The ceiling in our room had cobwebs hanging down over the beds, the area around the sink had splatter all over the wallpaper, the mirror appeared never to be cleaned, the long mirror was smeared, and I'm not sure the floor had been vacuumed between guests as there was broken pills on the floor and what appeared to be broken makeup or chocolate on the bathroom floor, around the sink, and refrigerator. A more thorough check by management and this could be easily corrected. read more

I wish I could've been more positive about my stay here but I cannot. This is especially considering I've usually had stellar experiences at other Courtyards, but this one did not live up to my expectations. I will start with the positives. Room is slightly bigger than the usual Courtyard that I'm used to at Lynnwood. Bathroom is also bigger as well. Everything is fairly clean. Lobby and bistro area are also a lot bigger as well. Parking, despite the website indicating that there is a parking fee, ended up being free because we stayed on the weekend and the nearby office building that would normally use the parking spaces doesn't care on weekends. However, pretty disappointed that I had to pester the front desk for early check-in even though I showed up at 1 pm, which is not exactly an unreasonable time for an early check-in (for the record, at every Courtyard I've been to I've always had rooms ready by 12 pm or earlier). Given that I had actually checked in on the app two days prior, my Elite status, and the fact that there's 200+ rooms in this hotel, I would've expected a room to be ready. Fairly surprised that I was actually granted 2 pm checkout, honestly. On top of that, my room had a weird electrical power situation where the plug didn't work unless the light switch was on. Lastly, hair dryer stopped working on us. Overall, my experience at this particular Courtyard did not live up to the standards set by other Courtyards. I chose this location over my usual one at Lynnwood because it made sense for what we were doing, but I am hesitant on a return here. read more

We booked 3 separate rooms at the Courtyard Kirkland for a 1 night stay as we had a b-day party in Kirkland and didn't want to drive back to Lynnwood after partying all night. I was rushing around preparing the party for my daughter-in-love at a local restaurant (La Corona, great place for a b-day party) two of us had rooms next to each other, one was in a different part of the hotel, we all, my friend and my son's family went between my room and my son's during our stay. When it was time for me to get ready for the party, I notice my bag was not in my room. In my rush to pack everything up, I assumed, I had left the bag at my house. I didn't think more about it until I got home and saw the bag was not at my house. The bag was left in my son's room and no one noticed. I confirmed with my friend and my son, they saw me carry the bag from my car, to the hotel. (I wish I had asked them when I noticed I didn't have the bag, instead of the next day after I realized it wasn't at my home) I immediately called the hotel and asked them to check both rooms. I called 2-3 times asking them to check lost and found. They were not very responsive and advised they didn't have the bag. I made a police report, I finally get a call from a manager. She says she will investigate and call me the next day. I never heard from her again. This happened on 4-13-24. I called back 6-6 or 6-7, the manager says she did call me back, (they know we can check phone calls now right?) she never called. She says she has sent the information to their "claims adjusters" I get a call from Graham Willoughby and he is from "pre-claims". Graham informs me that there is no proof that the bag was at the hotel, and he is going to deny my claim. He says the cleaning staff has been there for 16 years and they don't steal. What? I never said it was cleaning staff buddy. All of this to say, this is not the place to stay in Kirkland. I notice in other comments there have been missing items and they don't bother to investigate. read more

The room is clean and the staff is friendly. This part of my review gets 5 stars. Now for the rough edges. There's no makeup mirror and the only mirror that's not in the bathroom is at the entry where there's not enough light to make it usable. There's coffee but no tea. There's a place downstairs that serves an ok breakfast but it takes too long to get served. There's one person behind the counter and one in the kitchen. They're working as hard and fast as they can. There should be another person to help because every table needed to be cleared. The owner/management team needs to step up. They need more staff. Next time I'm in Kirkland I'll probably stay here again. It's decent for the price. read more

We arrived after midnight to check in and had to be let in by the hotel staff. Check in was quick and easy. Parking is $5/night + taxes & fees. They did mention that the numbered parking was for the building next door, but it wouldn't be a problem to park in those spaces during the weekend. Our room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Heat and water pressure in the shower was good. No USB plugs. The toilet was annoying because the toilet seat shifted when you sat down on it... quite disturbing when you're settling in to do your business...a little TMI, but watch out for that.. Lol. Also the toilet would run forever after flushing so make sure to jiggle the handle after flushing. Staff were pleasant and always greeted us when we got back to the hotel. I've greatly enjoyed my stay here. Billy happily welcomed me at the front desk and he gave me a quiet room which I greatly appreciate after flying in from California. My breakfast and coffee in the mornings sealed the deal for me. I also had the opportunity to hear a disgruntled customer at the front counter when picking up my breakfast, and I was very pleased to see the general manager handle herself and the situation professionally and took great care of them in the outcome. This is our second stay at the Courtyard in Kirkland, WA in 2024. Once again, kudos to the food staff. They are really putting in the effort to serve better than average Courtyard fare. Thank you! But if I had remembered my previous review, we might not have stayed here because once again - ugh the housekeeping is abysmal. I actually have my doubts as to this hotel even having a Housekeeping Manager. I called the Housekeeping extension multiple times and no one ever picked up. There was a huge amount of active black mildew in our tub, which we stopped at the front desk and requested to be cleaned because we could not reach Housekeeping directly. Nothing was done, probably (my guess) because there is no Housekeeping Manager to oversee it. Quite disgusting, and while it could have been an oversight or training issue initially, ignoring our complaint was not. Such a great location! And generally a nice facility. But obvious to us after two stays - very poor cleaning protocols. Disappointing to see the Courtyard brand deteriorate in this way. read more

Very Disappointing Hotel. The worst view looking into other people Homes. Tough parking. Slow customer service. Poor management. I provided them my membership number when I checked in and they have not even given me any credit for staying there. I emailed the manager and nothing happened. They use cheap coffee cups that collapsed while drinking hot coffee burning my skin and ruining my suite but the manager did not ever offer to pay for dry cleaning. The place is poorly managed. Billy and Hayden are phenomenal! Hayden greeted my party of 9 with a huge smile and provided care from the beginning of my arrival and the end. He made sure my party has all toiletries and water knowing we had a long day at a convention. Billy assisted us on our breakfast on Sunday morning. I placed an order with him on the phone only to realize it was not ready when I was downstairs. What stood out the most was he made sure I was taken care of and apologized the food was not ready on time. He politely talked to his staff and already compensation our meal. Everything worked out very smooth and Billy delivered 110% customer service with his team and to his customers! Team Billy! read more

Great place to stay when you are in Seattle. Nice lobby, spacious clean room. The hotel lobby is clean, with lots of seating and my room exceeded my expectations. The bed is comfy, everything you expect from a Marriott bed. My room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker so I was a happy girl. The staff is friendly and always greet you when you walk by. Would love to stay here again. I will say being Gold or Platinum at this hotel does not give you any extras as they do not have a concierge level, just the cafe and you have to pay for your own water...I am so spoiled. I would say the only thing I did not like was the food at the cafe. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was made the night before(the sales girl told me this and I still bought it) and it tasted old and the bacon was slimy. Took one bite and threw it away. read more

My husband and I stayed here on a trip to Woodinville and I was very impressed. From the moment we got there, we were allowed an early check-in, front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. There was a weird issue with my pre-paid room reservation but she figured it out. The room was very nice with a king bed, and living room area. The bathroom was very nice and modern. I slept very comfortably although I think they should provide better pillows...pillows were flimsy. On the way out to Woodinville, the desk clerk stopped us with complimentary tasting coupons. Very thoughtful. One of them, for Januik, ended up being my favorite tasting room. Across the street from the hotel is a QFC where we walked and picked up snacks to eat. Very convenient. For a Saturday night, our rate was just under $100 including tax. Can't beat that!!!! read more

Worst hotel experience of my entire life!!! Do not stay here! There are other wonderful hotels nearby that are so much nicer and treat people kindly! I was treated horribly from the moment I walked in the door! The front desk worker was horrible and should be drug tested. I have been to Marriott all over the world and I ended up having to leave the hotel same day and going hours home because I could not stay in such a terrible place and felt so discriminated against! I asked for courtesy toothpaste from my app and it said it would be sent up but I fell asleep waiting and no one came. That's coz they are Always, always understaffed. I am gold status with spg, at check in they promised to upgrade me for my 3rd night and when time came they tricked us and put us in a smaller room close to the main road where it was o noisy and bad. The Air conditioning in the rooms have issues too. The room may be spacious but it's not updated by any means. I lost one Sandal there and am confident it's there.. it happened when I was switching rooms and they can't even be bothered to look for it. In short... this place is in serious need of new management!!! Is bringing the marriot brand name down! I can handle the noise and parking had the service I received been good! This stay was awkward because of COVID-19. My expectations versus the hotel reality are much different. The check-in process was fine. The booking process requires you to pay in advance at the time of booking which is new, no other options available. Guests are unaware of COVID-19 policies so you have to remind them. Hotel employees only wear masks in your presence. If they don't see you, then no mask is on. I stayed in Room 236 and it was very noisy with street and road noise. The toilet ran all day. The A/C was very noisy and not sure it cooled properly. I was not happy with the breakfast options. They seemed to be severely understaffed. Better communication of how they are handling COVID-19 guidelines. I have 5 hotel charges on my credit card for a two-night stay. There is a lot of improvement needed. read more

A mixed results stay. Beautiful building with spacious rooms. Initially, we were impressed. However, the first impression quickly faded to disappointment. While the beds are comfy, the pillows are so limp they're practically useless. There are no breakfast amenities, unless you want to buy an over priced muffin at the bistro. They're pet friendly, but costs an extra $120 for a little dog to stay one night. They have a pool but it's so cold it's uncomfortable. For an indoor pool, that's inexcusable. Might as well go to Juanita Beach and jump in the lake. Adding insult to shivering, the shower in the pool room is ice cold and wouldn't warm up even at the hottest setting. Overall, it's a nice hotel but low value. Not worth the price of the stay. read more

Comfortable stay for a business trip. The room was clean, the free wi-fi was decently fast. There's an underground parking garage which was convenient for those rainy days. It was a bit annoying that there was no body lotion in the room and I had to call down to the front desk in order to get some. I guess that's their policy on lotion - you gotta ask for it. Most disappointing part of the stay was the gym. It was a tiny room with 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, and 1 bike. There's one bench and some dumbbells. Two of the most common weights - the 7.5 lb and 10 lb dumbbells - were missing. So you only had 5 lb or 15 lb dumbbells. This probably doesn't really matter for dudes, but it's pretty annoying for me. read more

Living on the Eastside, don't have much cause to need a hotel room for ourselves until the windstorm hit us. When the powers out again, we're coming here again!
