We've had numerous injury reports from my parents regarding their care in the last several months as Harmony has grown their business at our facility. The injuries weren't malicious that I can tell, more symptomatic of their over-burdened caregivers who constantly rush to keep up and cause damage along the way. They have 1 caregiver in the morning and 1 at night covering *22 patients* at this facility. Because they started with my father first, that meant he had to wake up at 7:45 AM out of a dead sleep each day to keep their schedule and he was pulled, pushed and prodded causing significant pain in his neck, back and bedsores while getting him cleaned. When operating the Hoyer lift, they consistently banged his head on the door frame or bent his neck sideways because the mesh netting wasn't centered correctly which I witnessed personally. When he or my mother would beg for mercy, they had the audacity to complain to their corporate team that they were being insulted. The corporate team were never interested in our version of these events. Every time the company tried to send help, the new caregiver would quit within 2 weeks due to the conditions they were thrown into and how they were treated by this company, always a red flag for an agency. It became a joke at the community which Harmony CG we'd get to 'meet' this week as they desperately tried to staff to meet needs unsuccessfully. Nothing was more unprofessional and negligent at this company than the corporate staff who are impossible to get ahold. The moment we informed them we were moving on from their services to another provider, however, we had no problem hearing from them. They discharged us within 24 hours via email which left us completely alone. Our new service hadn't had a chance to take over yet, so we were left completely scrambling. Because this was in violation of our agreement and my dad's patient bill of rights, we were advised to call HHS. The day before his discharge, his CG shoved his pillow down to speed up the decline of his bed which destroyed my dad's neck. They delivered the wrong meal to him at lunch (he's diabetic) and then we realized after they'd discharged him that he'd been left with a full diaper for HOURS. We are not the only families who've had these issues at this facility either, hence the other agency being brought in. Hopefully no one else goes through what my family has had to endure by Harmony Home Health. Do your research. Protect your family. I'd recommend finding literally any other option.

I appreciated her diligence and the effort she put into my case. Old review : I had total knee replacement surgery. This company contacted me initially and we set up times. The RN came and she was Amazing! The PT came and he was great. What I have major issues with is I was supposed to be getting 3 sessions a week for two weeks minimum.. On my about to be third session , the PT said oh we don't have pre authorization. I wondered about this so I called. The company would not call me back. I called twice. I waited 7 hours and no follow up call. I called a third time around 3 in the afternoon . I finally got someone and they said, " Oh we don't have pre authorization." I said , "Then how did you guys send people to my house in the first place?" They still have not answered that question. I still should be having PT sessions , it was knee surgery, the Dr. office did send that over (I checked) , and still no services and no calls from this company when I should be having therapy. Knee surgery is a difficult surgery mentally and emotionally, and to have to deal with this is unacceptable. I rated the company a 1 only because I really liked the PT and OT. Their management , scheduling , return calls needs to be improved.

She quickly made the arrangements and kept me updated throughout the process. There was a small additional fee due to the same day request but it was minimal and I was grateful they could accom odate us with such short notice. Antonio the driver and his associate were helpful and courteous and helped my dad get in and out of the vehicle and escort him to his room. They truly helped us out and took great care of my dad - will definitely use them again. : )

Called and talked to Alex and he met me the next morning and had the hospital bed and other equipment delivered to our house early afternoon. He took care of all the details and coordination including having a nurse there ahead of my Mom arriving from the hospital. The nurse (Katrina) was absolutely an angel! She had over 4 years of hospice care and was so professional and compassionate and along with medications made sure Mom was comfortable and not in any pain or discomfort. Highly recommend!

She is very thorough, incredibly sweet, patient, and kind. Most importantly, she truly listens to your concerns and treats you the way a patient should be treated. You never feel rushed, and she takes the time to really listen. I also want to give a special mention to Bessie at the front desk. She is super personable and absolutely wonderful. Going to the doctor can sometimes feel anxiety-inducing, but from the moment we arrived and spoke with her, we felt welcomed and at ease. Hospice care is covered by Medicare but only covers a few hours per week ... additional care was not covered by Mom's insurance but we needed assistance with Mom. The hospice provider highly recommended Custom Caregivers for the additional care. I got a few quotes from Custom and other caregivers. Custom Caregiver's price was a little higher than other providers we spoke to but we hired Custom. Custom: 1) timely put together a team on short notice 2) showed up and were courteous and attentive 3) did an excellent job in caring for Mom It was money "well spent!"

We have been using Legacy at Home caregivers for our mom off and on for over 5 years. We have had…read morewonderful experiences with them. There have been times we've needed caregivers 24/7, and there have been periods of time when we've only needed a caregiver for a few hours here or there to support mom while venturing out to a doctor appointment. Legacy at Home is flexible and allows us to shift between mom's needs with very limited notice. After a recent fall and an ER visit, mom was sent home about 10-11pm. With a few hours advance notice, we were able to have a caregiver meet her at her facility and stay the night with her to provide the support she needed. The schedulers are fantastic and the caregivers are warm and loving. If for some reason a caregiver cancels at the last minute (car accident, illness, dangerous weather, etc), the scheduler on duty will work tirelessly to find a replacement caregiver and they will call back with regular updates on their progress - no matter if they are successful in locating a replacement caregiver or not. And most of the time they are able to find a replacement caregiver. They have amazing people who are caregivers. Many of them have made this their career choice and they want to help and support their patients. It may take a few caregivers before you find the right personality match between your loved one and the caregiver, but once you find the right matches, it's a wonderful thing! The caregivers select their preferred schedules and patients and you start to see the same people over and over again because they form very sweet caring relationships. The caregivers may even text an update here or there, if you also form a relationship with them. I highly recommend Legacy At Home. They have provided significant peace of mind for our family knowing our mom is being well cared for every day.
