I want to start off with the fact that I don't typically leave reviews on Yelp, but had such a positive experience at Carl Black that I felt it was necessary. Given the current economy and used car market, it's been so hard to find a dealer that we have felt is honest and loyal willing to offer inventory at reasonable values who are not looking to take advantage of customers. My wife and I reached out to Carl Black with hopes of receiving an honest opinion. We initially talked to Dixie and outlined our request on a limited budget. She was so friendly and let us know that they had options that would suit our needs. She was very responsive and attentive. Once we described what we were looking for, she put us in touch with Nate Rodriquez. Nate was absolutely the most professional person we have ever met and was attentive to all of our questions and requests. After listening to all of our needs, he recommended we test drive a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado High Country. This was exactly what we were looking for. It was within our budget and an absolute perfect ride. Hands down, this was one of the best decision we have ever made. My wife usually feels uncomfortable at dealerships, but they explained everything and there were no hidden fees. Nate was a complete Rockstar. I will be back for any purchase we make going forward. I would recommend Dixie, Nate, and Jacob Howerton to any of our friend and family looking to make a purchase. Very dishonest. CarFax reports they have are either not accurate or fraudulent. purchased a 2022 Silverado 2500 High Country and discovered that it had been wrecked. I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience deserves one. I had a deal in progress for a car, thought everything was set, and then the dealership turned around and sold to someone else without any real warning or effort to honor what we had discussed. I even put down a $500.00 deposit, which makes this whole situation even more unacceptable. Ryan, Nathan, and Chris were all involved, and none of them handled the situation professionally. Communication was weak, follow thru was worse, and the whole process felt careless from start to finish. It's incredibly frustrating to have your time wasted like that, especially when you think you're close to finalizing a deal. If you are considering doing business here, just be aware that "working with you" apparently doesn't mean much. There are plenty of dealerships out there that actually respect their customers - this just isn't one of them! read more

I had my vehicle repaired here for a few years. It started off good and ended up as a complete Diaster. I brought my truck in to the service department for repairs due to emission issues. They changed several parts and in the process damaged my gas tank. From the looks of it, it seems it was done on purpose. There is a lot to this experience. If you are reading this, you better think twice about coming here for repairs. They get mad and upset when you speak up for yourself. Lance is very unprofessional and has a nasty attitude. The CEO stops responding. As long as you don't stand up for yourself, it's all good. Of course they didn't want to take responsibility and reimburse me for replacing my tank. What you do to others will come back to you!!!!!!! So happy that everything came to light. You better run fast as you can from this place!!!! read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! My husband sold his car here on 12/9 and still hasn't received the check. He was told he should've received it in the mail on 12/15. On 12/15 he was told it hadn't been mailed yet. On 12/17 he was told it was mailed on the 13th and lost in the mail and to come get the check on 12/20. Today on 12/20 he was told it was ready but "Lance" who has to sign the check wasn't here today. SUPPOSEDLY it will be ready tomorrow. Doubtful. read more

We got a truck 55000 diesel f350 we talked to service manager he said we only use cheapest oil filters and oil because they only may 25$ an hour. But when we bought truck sales manager was telling way different story. And he never said we had to do service only in Dallas location which is way far from my house compared the one in Kennasaw. And then they supposedly rotate a tires and never did. But sure put on receipt they did.And when I called and he said oh we only rotate when we think we need.The worsts customer service that try to argue and prove it right no matter what. I can't say enough things about how well they treated us. We drove almost 2 hours because they had the best price and the selection of cars we were interested in. They stayed late the day we bought the car to help and accommodate us due to our distance away. Jimmy Johnson the finance manager was superb. We negotiated who and where my credit would be pulled and he stuck to his word. He also got me a great rate on the car that was over 6 years old. Upon delivery that night, well past closing we discovered the electric tilt was wasn't working and they promised to make it right. Before we brought it back to be fixed we noticed a few other minor things like a mirror that wouldn't fold in and an issue with a door lock. They fixed it all. The tilt steering was a huge job and they spent weeks repairing the issue. A GM tech even came out to attempt to solve the issue. In the meantime they gave us a 2015 Tahoe to ride around in. This place bent over backwards. They were honest and forthright and I appreciate them greatly for that. Service after the sale made it a great experience! read more

This is the worst car buying experience I have had in the last 40 years. I was told the car I purchased is in excellent condition - and everything worked. After finding that the that the sun roof cover had been torn out of the car to hide the problem - that I needed to make the $850 repair out of my own pocket. I was told that if I purchase spare key/fob for the car they would get it programmed because the car didn't have any spare Keys. When I brought the car in to have this done - they said they couldn't/wouldn't do it - take to a locksmith ... promises made during the sale turned into lies.... I could go on - but you should also know the service department manager is rude and not helpful at all - If I had known this dealership was so ... I would never had made a purchase there - please learn from my bad experience - and steer clear - buyer beware of this dealership - just terrible - one star is generous read more

Worst dealership I've ever seen. My wife bought a van from them a year ago for $12000 and when she signed the paperwork, not knowing she needed to proof read it, they stuck her with $17500. This place is complete trash! DO NOT TRUST THEM! They will attempt to come across as very warm and friendly but it's all manipulation. They especially come across warm and friendly when dealing with women! Women beware! Very manipulating. The service department is a joke! The manager, Tim is a liar. He didn't even tell me that there was a problem with my car. I didn't find out the truth until I went into the service garage and spoke to the mechanic myself. Also, they refused to fix an issue that they lied to me about during the purchase of my vehicle. I regret ever coming here. And also, the GM Lance is a liar. He will be all warm and fuzzy and pretend to yell loudly with false authority over his employees, only to get a car sold and then leave you high and dry. I am trying to warn you not to purchase from them. They have yet to try and make things right! They haven't stood by a word that they proclaim to hold so high!
