When I arrived for a much needed oil change, the facility was very busy! Two deep line up at all bays. The representative came to the car and asked how I was doing, offered water while I waited and was very friendly! My service tech was Chris and he was fantastic and efficient. He explained what was needed and inquired if I had any discounts, etc. My second tech was Jeremy and he was so friendly and directed me into the space above the bay. The entire crew working all 3 bays were outgoing and working diligently to get us through and on our way yet personable and knowledgeable. Finally the manager Jacob came over to see how my experience went and let me know they appreciated my business! What a breath of fresh air to have a large group in such close quarters working so professionally to make the customer experience top of the line! I will be back! I was in like for 45 minutes having both lanes beside me bypass 3 cars before Wayne who was working very hard told the middle lane (mine) and the lane to the left back up so I can become the next priority. Bobby and Wayne were incredible. Bobby made me smile, provided a coupon for my inconvenience, apologized for being short staffed and gave me an air freshener. I have been to this location at least 10 times for both of my vehicles and was never offered an air freshener or water. Do not use this company they kept saying they were attaching my skid plate that's what was taking so long however that's not the case. My son noticed there was scrubbing when he got in the car to drive it the very next day. They begged me not to take it to any other place to have it checked out so I didn't I took it back to them. They tried to put the blame on my son saying that he hit something. That wasn't the case at all after seeing them put a zip tie under my car to hold on my skid plate I took my car to jiffy lube. They've checked my car free and told me that they only put two pins in to hold my oil pan skid plate on when they're supposed to be 12 to 16. They lied to me and they took parts from my car that they shouldn't have because you cannot put a skid plate back on with two pins one on each corner it leaves a gap in the front that drags. They're just lying lying lying dirty dogs. Jiffy lube put every single pin in there for me free. Go to jiffy lube they'll do you right they won't take parts off your car then lie to you when you damage your skid plate. My car has 36,652 mi on it. Jiffy lube has done my oil changes for every oil change except one so they knew that I had all my pins there. read more

We have been taking our Mercedes Benz to them for oils service. On the last service the drain plug was cross threaded when putting it back in causing harm that required us to pay $700 dollars to replace the oil pan. We came here for a quick oil change. As soon as we pulled in, we were greeted by Nathan. He was very friendly and very personable. He told us our options for oil and let us choose. The other employee began working on changing our oil. Nathan changed our cabin air filter and showed it us, which I appreciate. The only issue I had was with the language the young man that was changing the oil was using. He wasn't speaking to us but to his other co worker and used some profanity. If my children weren't in the car with us, I wouldn't have mind as much but they were so I was a bit concerned. The service was fine, they had a little trouble getting the oil cap off but they got it off, changed our oil, and we were on our way pretty quickly. I'm not sure if we will return. Take 5 DO NOT go to Take 5 in Hiram! They overcharged my son for an oil change and claimed his vehicle had to take 0W20 synthetic oil for a 2017 Nissan Sentra. We all know better than that! When we confronted the individual Skyler about it, he tried to debate us saying $75 was the charge. My husband pays $75 for the dealer to change his oil synthetic 2010 Dodge Challenger RT. When we asked for a manager and the corporate number, we were told they didn't have a corporate as they were a franchise location. We asked if they were on Yelp and of course we were told they weren't. I've located the corporate office in Louisiana and left a voicemail for someone to call me back asap. read more

Came here today after being told elsewhere that my dipstick was dry and they couldn't change my oil because it was a "liability issue" - I figured, well, I've never had a problem with Take 5 before they'd probably do it for me, because seriously, who doesn't change someone's oil and sends them on their way when it's THAT low? Anyway, I apologized in advance to the guy changing my oil, said "it's pretty dire so I apologize" and he said "that's ok, better late than never!" they changed my oil with absolutely no issues and were very friendly, explaining everything they did as they went along. Went in on 3/25 to get a basic oil change at about 2pm. The gentle man recommended a coolant flush (which was a bad idea on a 08). He showed me a device that had 3 markers I only had one flowing and he stated it needed to be 3 and the coolant was mixed with water. I agreed being that I would think they actually knew what they are doing. Upon leaving there I drove about 3 mins parked the car til about 7:30pm. On my way home that night the temp gauge feel to "C" and the display now read "engine hot. A/c off". Went home there was coolant in the the car. Place coolant in the car. 3/26 driving to the location I made it to the Walgreens by Kroger. The check engine light comes. Made it to the location to remedy the issue. The district manager was there he did another flush and did a few things with the car to get the temp back up. They did achieve that he cleared the check engine light. I asked how will they fix the issue there was no reply. He said they couldn't place blame knowing his tech messed up the car. I have speaker to the manufacture of the car and they basically all said the same thing whatever they did when they did the flush it messed up the temperature system in the car. With that being said I've also spoken to a few other mechanics and it's all the same conclusion the cooling should've never been touched in my car if everything was going well. The DM suggest I take the car to a 3rd party to get the car checked. I had to take the car to Haul auto which was $103 (at no point did they offer to pay for the visit). For them to tell me the temperature system is messed up. I will be taking it up with take 5. Because now I have a car sitting in my drive way that is in operable because of their mistake. This is the 1st time I can say I will never be going back to a location. I have taken my Cadillac there for a basic oil change and it was done no complaints. And this is why I went back to get the other car taken care of. Never was I expecting to now have a paperweight sitting in my driveway. And being out of pocket close to $300 when it's all said and done. The DM isn't too bad. I understand that he's basically here not to place blame he will/he did try to make it seem as though his check did not mess up the job but I'm sure he is fully aware that they messed up. Even though his job is to save his company money and not place blame the car was operating just fine before the coolant flush. In reference to your reply. I'm not able to reply directly. Beware of misleading price quotes from staff at Dallas, Ga location. First incident I wrote off as simple mistake. Next visit, same thing. Asked for price for SET of wiper blades, was quoted $31. When I reviewed my bill price was $62. Manager's response, and I quote, "mistakes happen". Still tried to charge me full price - told him to put my old blades back on. New establishment in my area! Decided to give them a try. Found a 25% off coupon on their website. When I arrived, I was greeted by a nice mechanic directing the vehicles to which lane to go to. They change your oil while you sit in the car. The wait was a little long but I expected that since it was a Saturday! The two other mechanics that I encountered during the oil change were very nice. This place is a sorry excuse for a "quick oil change" garage. The employees are friendly enough but appear to be highly unmotivated and slow. I've often wondered why they always have such long lines, even midweek. But after a few attempts at getting my oil changed in less than an hour, I now realize it's because this place is just sloooooow. My son came up there with a 2017 Nissan Sentra. He was charged $75 for an oil change. I went up there and asked why as it so expensive. They put without asking SYNTHETIC in his car. His car takes 5w30 per owners manual which would've been substantially cheaper. They claimed they only had 0w20 in synthetic. BS. They indeed do have 5w30 conventual oil. Went in fir an oil change, they start doing something under my hood, using an impact wrench and it sounds like they are stripping screws or over-tightening instead of loosening screws. The guy doing it drops screws, finally he pulls out the air filter, tells me it is very dirty and it will damage my engine, it's not that dirty, changed within a year, but I agree to change it. As he is entering info into their system a warning comes on screen that my car requires a specific oil, dexos, (which is clearly marked on the engine) he runs to the front of the car and two of the techs have a shper exchange, then he returns to the computer. Next he ask if I want the same oil and oil filter??? Of course, it's what is recommended by Cadillac. When he finally finishes and come for payment he explains the charges, then adds, "this notes there was slight damage to the air filter housing upon arrival," which is not true. The only person who has lifted the hood prior to today was the last oil change at Take 5 in Cartersville who has no notes to indicate any damage. Also, they did not reset the oil life indicator on my car. And left oil all over everything they touched under my hood. Do yourself a favor, do not use this location, they will damage your vehicle, and have no idea what they are doing. First and last time I will use this place! Also, part of the service is suppose to include checking and topping off vital fluids and checking tire pressur. they did NONE of this, he only ask, "how's your tire pressure?" I went in for a oil change and two days later my oil pressure light came on. I called Take 5 and spoke with the manager Austin Harrison. Austin recommended that I not drive back to the shop. He insisted that he come to my home 45 minutes away to check out my car. Austin arrived at my home and checked my oil levels and went under my car to make sure the oil plug and filter were not leaking. He noticed that there was sludge around my oil pressure sensor. He recommended that I replace it. He offered to install it for me when I pick one up. The next day I brought a new sensor and went to the Hiram location and was greeted very politely and told to pull into the bay. Austin changed the sensor and made sure all fluids were topped off. I promise Austin that I will continue to bring all four of my family vehicles to his location for oil changes and services. Austin went above and beyond. Thank you very much! read more

I went to take five oil change today for the first time. I drive a 2010 Nissan Ultima S. I like to get synthetic oil, because I put a lot of mileage on my car. I was greeted by Darius upon arrival, and he got me into the first bay. Multiple people inspected my car, and made sure that my liquids were all full, and my air filter and oil were changed. I was blown away by how polite and knowledgeable everyone who works there is, especially considering the average age appears to be about 18 or 19. I will definitely be back to have my car serviced. The shop was quick and efficient and seem to run very smoothly while I was there. Before I left, Kaylen, the manager of the shop came out to visit. He asked how everything was and I let him know that it was a fantastic visit. I had come in about six months to a year before, had decent but forgettable service, bit, this was a night and day change. So coming from running a Dealership I can 100% say this store has the best teamwork I have ever seen. I've been to 3 take 5 stores and all refused to do my oil change because of it being a Audi all blaming no oil filter or not having the oil even though it's the same standard oil used in GM trucks. So I stopped in to my local take 5 store who has changed the oil before and they have not one excuse. They said we don't have the oil because we are waiting on the shipment but we will call the auto parts store and will have it here in a min. They got me in and out quickly.
