Service ESC, service parking brake, and check engine light on. But Hardy can't diagnose.

Not happy with my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 slt nor the "service" department at Hardy. My truck with 22k miles is having multiple issues and with all the computer systems on the truck, Hardy was unable to do anything. First- the truck is having a hard shift from 1-2. Hardy's response is GM is aware of this and has a bulletin stating the problem and their claim it is normal. Secondly, I have lights come on. Service ESC otherwise known as electronic stability control and can be dangerous according to google. Service parking brake, and check engine. Hardy's response was they couldn't see any of those codes or why that would happen but did ask if I drive with my foot on gas and brake! They claimed that could cause this. Lol when these lights come on I experience a significant loss of power and the truck doesn't want to go. Again can be dangerous when pulling out in traffic. Yet Hardy has nothing. Lastly. Having miss fire of cylinder number 7. Once again Hardy does nothing. Meaning while my mechanic ran the code and saw this. I showed Hardy tons of pics and they could careless. This is all after having to make an apt a month out. Hardy has lost a customer for service and sales. I will no longer be buying GMC and will consider other brands but will not do business with them again.

I went online to set an appt for an synthetic oil change. This my first time going to this location and they had a coupon for $20 for the service. I didn't know if this was an error or a special for new customers. Once I got here and showed them the coupon from their website they said they wasn't going to accept it. So the oil change price was $50. They didn't apologize for the error or offer to complete the service for the price since they made the mistake. My appointment was for 11AM and my oil change was complete at 12:34PM. If the coupon is on the website you should honor the coupon. I didn't make the mistake. They did. This will be the first and last time going here for service. After my appt I checked online and they removed the coupon. I rather drive 21 miles to another Chevy dealership then to go to this one again.

I searched online all over Georgia to find the car I was looking for and Hardy had it! This is my first car and first time car purchase so I was extremely nervous to go. I communicated with their internet salesperson and scheduled a test drive. I arrived and as I walked in the door I was greeted by my salesperson Graham. He is the nicest guy and didn't make me feel pressure! Graham got me the car I wanted with the monthly payment I could work with. I walked away with my car as well as an amazing experience. Thanks Hardy!

Called Wed. morning to get an update. was told they hadn't gotten to it yet and they would see if they could get it in and finished and would call me back and let me know. Finally got a return call at 3:40 and told "We don't work on Dodge rear ends". They knew Mon. what I had and what the issue was and didn't say a word about not working on Dodge. Kept my truck for 2 days knowing they weren't going to touch it. WTF? That's 2 days it could have been at another shop getting repaired. Do not use this shop unless you want to be lied to and have your time wasted.

Be patient if you leave a couple voicemails with days in between a call back (or weeks). When you're good it means you're busy. Then stop worrying once you're booked because this will be a less expensive journey than usual. You'll get a legit assessment of what needs done, and no pressure to change those filters or wiper blades (or timing belt) if you don't want to. No frills means low overhead; gravel lots with a few cars like the windows-down 2-door Mercedes parked means you're not paying for all the marketing. It's just car-fixing like it should be. Last time I went in thinking I needed a complete wiper reservoir replacement. Nope, just a wiper fluid hose for pretty cheap. We'll keep coming back since cars don't fix themselves. Currently I'm not at all fretting about our teenager's car we just had towed in after stalling in an intersection. How bad could it be? And of course I'll continue wondering how much he'd charge to get that old Mercedes in his lot back on the road. Probably just needs new wipers and an air filter, once we get that driver-side window closed.

This will take more money, time and frustration. Pat failed to address that I asked him to quote the job prior to work being done, and instead he completed the work and then demanded what I felt was overcharging based on the scope of work. This is not how to professionally conduct one self. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and me having to discover his shoddy work later is the issue. The money is not the issue, but the approach he took is unethical. If you are okay with a mechanic that's untrustworthy, unreliable, unprofessional and takes zero accountability, this is the mechanic for you! If you choose to use this business you have been warned. I recommend having a backup professional to fix this guy's mistakes, and then plan on paying for work more than once. Like I stated earlier, mistakes happen, it's unfortunate this guy has no intention of learning from them. Communication is key. Don't cover up your mistakes and not take ownership. It makes you look bad. I do not recommend using this mechanic. I asked for a quote to remove locking lugs nuts on my wife's Kia, and after completing the job Patt told me the price which I thought sounded too high and was expecting to get a quote prior to the work being done, not after. I explained that I had no idea it was going to cost that much and he knocked $100 off the price. Later I discovered that Pat and another young man that works for him, had cross threaded 3 wheel studs on 2 different wheels. Given the time, money and frustration I would recommend saving your hard earned money and contacting a professional mechanic. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of integrity and poor communication are just bad business. Lesson learned on my end. I will never trust this guy to touch another vehicle again.
