This is the greatest appliance store and maybe even store I have ever been to. These are absolutely wonderful people. Aida, Carlos, Pedro and Gustavo - they are honest, attentive and fair. Their prices are great and their 30 day warranty is real and they honor it. We even got a little annoying and didn't like the first fridge so they gladly came, picked it up and replaced it with a new one - honoring their warranty, no questions asked. I want to tell you - they are so great. These people are honest, friendly and trustworthy. They also deliver and install. We bought a refrigerator, AND a washer and dryer. Used, in perfect condition. I wish every store was like Carlos Appliances. We are new to Yucca Valley and this has been our first purchase and experience and I can't tell you again, just how awesome they are. Carlos was thorough and helpful :) $320 later we have a great WhirlPool fridge. 30 day warranty for trade in and after that repair available. Hopefully we don't need to utilize that. I am absolutely disappointed with the level of customer service Toni has provided me. I was in search of a second-hand washing machine, and I ended up purchasing (what seemed like) a working front load washer, and I also paid for delivery which came close to $400.00. Once delivered, I tried to run a cycle and the washing machine would not work, so I called in to have it exchanged, so Toni did so. A few days later I received a Frigidaire Washer and he took the LG back. Needless to say, I ran the wash for the first time, and the spin cycle wouldn't work either. So I called again and told him his second washing machine was not working. By this time, it was about a week I have been without a washer. I called back Toni a little annoyed and said I would like a refund as your display of washers is not working and he should test them out before putting them on the shelf as it was false advertising. He gave me this long BS story that they are second hand... blah blah blah. I told him, I understand things sometimes need repair, so I want my full refund and he could take his second unworkable washer, as I will go elsewhere. He began to argue with me on the phone that it was my responsibility to bring in the washer back to his store...? What? You basically sold me two broke washers and you have the gall to tell me I am to bring it in after I also paid for delivery? Wow! Excellent customer service skills as well as great policy in place for your customers to know. Long story short, he did end up sending a driver to pick up the second machine, and decided to give "CASH" to the delivery person to give to me (my refund), less the delivery fee - Basically I had to pay for the delivery fee due to his malfunctioning equipement. Who sees the justice in this? I call this a SCAM! You basically took my money! Karma is a real thing, and if you were a man of honor Toni, you would of not only gave me back my full refund, but you would of replaced it with a working machine. I bought a washer and dryer at the beginning of the summer and the washer will not drain or spin anymore. I called in and spoke with Tony. Such a joke, Tony is nothing but a hothead that wants to do nothing but blame you, the customer for any and all problems AND he wants you to do all the hauling of broken merchandise, I even offered to pay for it to be moved. He told me to call Trump about it. The previous owner would always back up his products, not this angry man. The bad reviews here do accurately describe what you can look forward to dealing with at this shop, so beware and avoid if at all possible. Don't go there. I am beyond angry... This place needs to be investigated. A Business needs to treat Customers with courtesy, and HONESTY. We need to be able to TRUST a Business. I do NOT intend to ever return to that Business. I went to buy a used but good fridge. Carlos is no longer there. Toni runs the place his way... This place will not, and should not remain in business. Most of the time, the phone could not be reached, said: "Mailbox not set up"... Toni does not reply to e-mails either. I finally reached him and I asked to send a repair person for the fridge. Gustavo was sent. I was told $45.00 on the phone to repair it... Gustavo said $65.00. I paid Cash. Gustavo said that: "the Tenant had obviously kicked it with his foot, could not repair it here, and had to bring it to the shop." No receipt was given at all... While that fridge would be fixed, I needed to buy an other for now. ( we can always put the second one in a garage...) The prices are WAY HIGHER than they ever were... A wise person should simply buy new, put it on a Zero % credit card... The place was quite cluttered... Difficult to see anything... Toni said that the ice maker worked... and it did not. The fridge was not level. Gustavo put it on a wooden block. Gustavo was unable to hook the water to it. I had to get an other guy, and that's when we discovered that the ice maker does not work. Tried to phone and e-mail... for days. Finally went in person to ask for a fridge replacement. Immediately when I walked in the door, Toni "could not be bothered with my complaints"... "NO, we're not exchanging it for you, we'll just give you your money back." "Go somewhere else Lady." "We have signs everywhere on the wall that we don't guarantee ice makers." "I never said that it worked." "I don't know what works. We don't test anything." I said: Tiny stickers used to be placed on the fridges to say "No Ice maker. Ice maker works"... He said: "No, there never were any stickers." ( Yes, there used to be...........) OK. So, give me my money. "NO, you paid by Check, I have to wait until it clears..." "We don't guarantee ice makers or anything." "Gustavo does not fix fridges. Jose does". I got a receipt for my fridge that was "being fixed/ yet, still on the porch at that point"... Within an hour or so, I got a phone call saying that "it could not be fixed". Did they even try? Won't know, and with the nasty attitude, I can't trust them. I e-mailed that I'd just keep the fridge, and not to come at all. Next day: here comes Gustavo unannounced, with my fridge, and is unaware that I e-mailed NOT to come................... Gustavo said that he had my money in his pocket... Never saw it, as for now, I had to keep the bad fridge until I purchase anew... Gustavo says that he does NOT fix ANY appliances AT ALL. He just delivers. Wait a minute...... So, why was Gustavo sent for $45.00 to fix a fridge? And, why did I have to pay $65.00 Cash? That $65.00 should be refunded........................... This place can't stay in business treating customers this way, and having gimmicks like this........... I have the old fridge. I will call Blair's (760) 369-2540 and see if it is fixable. If yes, I'll have a back up in the fridge. When you are in an appliance business, you KNOW if it works or not. If you say: " I don't know."...... Then, you are misleading the Customers. Not sure whom I spoke with just now to inquire about my visit two weeks ago and what a nasty business person! I went in about two weeks ago and the man I spoke with wrote my name and number down and said he would call me, that they were working on a set of a washer and dryer that I could purchase. No call from them, so I called them today. No apology, no accountability from them for not getting back to me. He was really so unprofessional!!! I'm reporting this guy/business to the BBB. Why are you in business if you don't have washers and dryers. I inquired about a stove also, but they didn't have that either. What are they doing there? What is the actual business?????? New management difficult to work with when a new washer leaked immediately upon delivery, he didn't want to pick up - so I delivered back to him. I will not use them again. Carlos came out to diagnose our washer and thought the mother board was fried. He didn't just try to sell us a new board but kept checking for the reason and found a pen stuck in the drain pump.
