I contacted him through Yelp and provided detailed info upfront, including error codes and appliance brands. He responded quickly and gave a time range but later said he'd be late without giving an updated time, forcing me to keep the entire day open. He also asked again for information I had already shared. He inspected the washer and dryer and "fixed" the dryer (a simple cable wire issue), then charged $125 for the repair plus a $99 diagnostic fee none of which was disclosed before he started the work. I didn't expect a $224 bill on the spot with no prior estimate. After couple of days, he texted for the washer, he said he found a used circuit board and gave me a price. I agreed and asked when he could come install it, and then he completely ghosted me. If I had known this was how he operates - no clear pricing upfront - poor communication - no follow-through I would not have gone with him. I don't recommend this service. There are other repair professionals who provided estimates upfront just from reviewing the error codes. Save your time and look elsewhere. read more

I contacted two other companies before going with this one. They were either closed for the week and out of town or too busy. Mike contacted me and said he could come out the next morning and he did. He was prompt, professional, and courteous. It was an expensive repair, but the hundred dollar service call went toward it. He told me he would get the part and come back Monday. Then he called and said he could actually come out Saturday! I was very happy. He came out and fixed it and told me I had a 90 day guarantee and to call him immediately if I had any problems. Dishonest and stole from us. Michael was hired at the end of September to fix our range hood that was humming. He recommended that it would be cheaper to just have him replace the hood with a new one, instead of fixing our more expensive model. However, after installing the "new" hood he sold us, we saw that it was damaged and installed incorrectly. He admitted to noticing the damage when installing it and said he would replace it. It's now November, over a month later, with no response from him. We messaged him multiple times over the course of October and early November for an update on the replacement and he just kept giving excuses. We asked for proof of these excuses and he just stopped responding. We realized he was just lying the whole time and installed a damaged appliance with no intent of getting a replacement. On top of that, he took our original, more expensive model without permission and didn't return or give compensation for it. We asked for our appliance back since we didn't give him permission to take it, and he said he couldn't return it. He also hasn't compensated us for the damaged appliance. We tried being patient and accommodating, and gave him OVER A MONTH to try to remediate the situation but, of course, he doesn't reply and doesn't care. So unless you wanted to be scammed or have a legal headache, stay far far away and go to someone that is honest and knows what they're doing. read more

I'm a guy that only leaves reviews when something bad happens or I am completely dissatisfied. But I was so happy with the service that I'll take the time to leave a GOOD review this time. Was very responsive, courteous and fairly priced. He came out and diagnosed this old ass fridge with a bottom freezer that I bought used almost 10 years ago. The fridge and freezer are huge, they don't make them this big anymore with a bottom freezer. It hasn't skipped a beat since I owned it. All of a sudden it started not cooling the same. I would touch the water bottles and drinks in the fridge and the food in the freezer, although they were cold. They weren't thaaaat cold, like not cold enough to give you brain freeze when you drank the water like I'm used to. I was sad be because this is our garage fridge and Its huge, its a size they dont build anymore. I was seriously thinking after 10 years it was time to let er' go. I started looking online for another fridge and I could find anything close to this one that wasn't a high end stainless steel fridge for inside the home. I called up these guys as a last shot before i bought another fridge, they came out, looked at my fridge and found the problem....simple fix, the fridge was dirty and needed to be defrosted. So he cleaned it, defrosted it right there so we didn't have to wait overnight. And wouldn't you know, my fridge works better than before. It's freezing the water bottles in the fridge now...salute these guys, they saved my old ass fridge and I didn't have to come out of pocket for a new one. We tipped him $20 we were so happy. Do NOT use this company!!!! He installed our cooktop, using the OLD gas line, which is against code. Our appliance came with new parts !!! After he left, we smelled gas. we called the gas company. THE GAS COMPANY CAME OUT AND TESTED AND FOUND A GAS LEAK AND SAID THE GUY INSTALLED THIS IMPROPERLY WITH OLD PARTS. MICHAEL charged us for the installation, but we assumed he was using the parts that came with the appliance. Obviously not. ALSO: he cracked the tile counter top and we had to pay to have that fixed as well! Next time we will pay the people we bought the appliance from to do the installation .
