My husband met…read morewith him after our daughter's birth and when we first looked at the numbers for whole life, there was no way. Mr. Swick didn't call us persistently and try to push a plan on us, he didn't use scare tactics to get us to sign up or anything. Awhile later, we were making more money and decided we needed to revisit life insurance. We went in, Mr. Swick reviewed our financial situation and made a realistic recommendation for us to obtain insurance at a cost we could manage while also building a savings account that we could draw from in retirement. When we went to sign the final papers, we were unable to obtain a babysitter and asked him if we could bring our one year old daughter with us, he told us it was no problem and that he would love to meet her. While we reviewed our policy and signed papers, Penny entertained our daughter. In a nutshell, he is a great financial advisor who explained the complexities of insurance in a very basic way for me (who is quite financially challenged), made a realistic plan for us and has a very friendly and professional staff. I have and will continue to refer people to him for their financial planning needs.

Jess carefully explained to me much needed information on how much we should have in savings, insurance coverage etc now that we are heading towards our 50's. He is not one to recommend investment tools if you don't already have a healthy platform. I loved his honesty. He also knows the plans of the local universities and gave advice on how to move my husbands retirement fund to the new university and who to call. His staff is very professional and Penny is very helpful and a delight to work with. If you have any questions on your financial security, Jess Swick is the person to call!

Each time I moved, I promptly called and changed the address with them. They called me on my third apartment and told me they mischarged me and kept getting my refund check returned to them. They tried to verify my address, and somehow they were sending all of my important mail to my first address. Keep in mind this was after two years and two moves. I got another call from them a week or so later, saying they were still getting the check returned, and it ended up that they were STILL sending it to my first address. Eventually, after 2ish WEEKS we were finally able to confirm that my current address on the policy was also my mailing address. 2. I called again recently (this is what made me decide to leave) to add an "Additional Interested Party." My leasing company asked that I add them as such on the policy, and I believe this is a pretty standard practice. They ended up adding my leasing company as an Additional INSURED. I forwarded this to the leasing company, who informed me that additional insured was not the same as an interested party. Then to save me the hassle, they contacted Troy Wilson's office and asked to be added as an additional interested party, not an additional insured. Troy Wilson's office PRINTED out the declarations page of my policy, circled the "Additional insured: Leasing Company" portion with a pen, then scanned and emailed it back to us saying, "This is done. Thanks." Seriously rude, wtf. 3. During the original call I placed for #2, I also wanted to update my payment and email address. My email address is relatively simple; something akin to "heythereName@email.com" I had to spell it out maybe 5 times for the woman to get it right. Then I had her spell it back to me to make sure it was correct, and she STILL sent it to the wrong address, and ended up calling me and giving me her email address so I could email her. But this also makes me wonder who (if anyone) got my email by mistake. (And also all the letters that were getting lost in the mail for two years in #1) 4. I informed them in my emails in #2 who my leasing company was and what their address was. Despite that, I kept getting copies of my policy meant for my leasing company, with my address as their address. I don't like leaving bad reviews; I tend to believe that people can have off days and should be forgiven most of the time. But when it comes to insurance, things like address changes taking 2 years to get right, and whatever the hell went on in #2 really makes me doubt that Troy Wilson's office could handle any potential claims with grace and competency.

We've endured 6 months of this nightmare. Our initial car insurance 6 month policy was for around $650 - pretty good deal. 5 months later we were hit with a renewal bill for about $1700. We got in contact and ask them what went wrong - and they said it was a mistake, ignore the bill and we'll correct it in a few weeks. Every few weeks we've received another extravagant bill and they have continued to tell us to ignore them. It has been 6 months since the first "incorrect" bill, and Troy Wilson has taken no effort to assist us in helping us get a real quote. We will be taking our business elsewhere, I just regret waiting this long.
