I discovered this spot delivering for postmates and man did I discover a gem. I had their personal Buffalo chicken pizza which is perfect for one or two people, 8 slices total, and it was delicious! The chicken was juicy and the Buffalo sauce was delicious! If you're a ranch lover this pizza is for you, you don't have to worry about having to dip your pizza in ranch or getting messy. It's a shame to say that we will not be ordering from this place again. Both pizzas were flavorless. I couldn't even finish eating the crust, it was so bland. Our salads were just lettuce with nothing else. We didn't even get the salad dressing we requested. Also, the meatballs were bland too, like they forgot to add salt, though the sauce was flavorful. I"ve been coming here ever since I was a kid. When Carlo or his son actually made the pizzas. At that time it was a deli / takeout or delivery pizza place. Was the best in town. At least as far as I was concerned. I moved away but eventually move back. I wanted some of that good pizza like I remembered it. I don't know but it doesn't seems like Carlo or anyone from his family own or run it anymore. The pizza O.K. the crust wasn't as light fluffy in the inside and crispy on the outside like I remembered it. The Carlo's special pizza wasn't as good as I remember it. The lasagna was as good as it once was. Maybe, I just remember it being better. I don't know? All I know is that it wasn't as good as I remember it. Where i live its really hard to find parking close by the house, if i get lucky ill find one a block away, for this reason on some sundays i refuse to move my car and order food for delivery. My mom told be about this place and usually me and her don't share the same likes so I was skeptical but to my surprise this is one of if not the best Pizzas I've had. I tried the lasagna felt like it was from Italy itself. I came back to try a few of the sandwiches and wasn't impressed I tried the pastrami n the meatball but they say the beef one is good. I would not have expected the food to taste as good as it does by looking at the location, it literally looks like a small Mom n Pop hole in the wall kind of place. Let me start by saying the sauce is the best I've ever tasted, any kind of red sauce gives me heartburn, so I won't just eat any sauce it has to be fantastic and worth the pain! Their pastrami is delicious and the meat is not all fatty like some others I've tried before. They do thin crust which is a plus for my crew and it comes out perfectly done, not soggy or burnt but nice and crispy. I ordered a sandwich for the first time today to go along with the pizza and omg seriously I will go no place else from now on! The turkey was thinly sliced and piled high, way too high for the price I expected way less and was so surprised at the size of this sandwich it was huge, the bread tasted so fresh like they just baked it. My son really likes their pizza. What I like is that one day they helped me out in a pinch. My son goes to school a block away and had a 2 hour gap from summer school to practice. One of those crazy days in which I forgot to leave him lunch money and coming back during lunch time was not an option. You might have been fooled by the fact that family pictures still hang on the walls and the menu has not changed, but when considering food quality and staff, it is quite obvious that nothing is the same. Everything has been reduced in quality, from the brains of the employees to the parmesan cheese. I will not be returning. Talking FOOD here. Carlo's Pizza is pretty darn good. Pizza, Pasta and Sandwiches here are top shelf. I must say that the Lasagne is one of the best I've ever had. Pair any item with salad, Garlic bread and a cold PERONI and i'm in heaven. The sauce on the Pizza is what got me hooked. First timers should Try the Carlo's Special....then build from there! I love trying new places but this place was a mistake. When we entered the place, the worker didn't even get up from his booth to greet us. He just said sit anywhere. That should have been the first sign to leave but we just figured that was their charm. I ordered the pasta dish and that was colorless and bland. The Alfredo pizza was the worse and I didn't think you could mess that up. I really don't know how this place stayed in business for this long.
