Went here for the first time and got a large pepperoni pizza. (Not very big for a "large") the cheese wasn't even fully cooked I actually had to throw in my oven under the broiler for a few minutes. When trying to separate the slices the cheese just slid right off. I don't think I will ever order from here again. read more

We ordered from them today, a steak and cheese with peppers, onion and mushrooms which was toasted. It was absolutely delicious.. We also got a roast beef sub which was awesome. Carolos' has the very best subs in town, along with the rest of their food. The place close to it is cheap with their fillings, greasy food and an owner TED who is very rude and has no filter. He still owes us a pizza which he lied about. read more

Some of the best pizza I've had outside of CT (big fan of both Greek and New Have style pizza). The crust is just buttery and crisp. I usually don't eat the crust but I'm obsessed from this place. No skimping in the toppings, whatsoever. Cheese is gooey and full of mozzarella goodness (many places use a mozzarella blend that's more heavy on the cheddar. Not this restaurant). I cannot, sadly, give it 5 stars because of the grinders. The grinders were just an absolutely soggy mess even though I asked for very well done. They didn't skimp on the toppings here either but I wouldn't order again. Pizza was a solid 4.75 while the grinders were just ok. I almost exclusively order pizza from this place unless we are getting grinders and pizza. Then I order from P&D. Best grinders in the area in my opinion. read more

I don't know if Carlos Pizza changed hands or just got new cook. But the quality of this place has gone seriously down hill. I used to love this place. Their Mediterranean pizza was our favorite, But yesterday, it was so different. the spinach looked like canned spinach not fresh like it used to be and then covered with so much cheese you couldn't taste anything else. And the chicken Parmesan - that was supposed to be eggplant parm, was not good at all, the chicken was diced up, not a cutlet, the sauce has no flavor and so much cheese on top that I couldn't get to the spaghetti. Adding more cheese doesn't always make something better. Besides the order being wrong the bread that the parmesan came with was stale. The steak sub was the only thing that looked correct. Sorry Carlos, but you need a new cook. read more

Awesome!! My daughter and I had lunch here today. Very friendly staff. I had a Italian grinder and it was excellent!! My daughter got a BLT she really enjoyed it. This place is ok. Ordered a Hamburg pepperoni. The crust and cheese ok. Hamburg "balls" reminded me of a frozen pizza sausage and not that good. Their large pizza is only 14 inches and the smallest large in town. But the prices are not competitive as other pizza spots in Oxford Webster area. read more

Stopped here yesterday for pizza. Crust is crispy and toppings are still crisp after coming out of oven. This maybe more of a takeout place than sit down- only one booth. No beer or wine either. Our veggie pizza and fries were so delicious. On the pizza, we were able to customize the toppings to our liking; The crust was good, as I usually am one to throw away the crust after eating everything else- well in this case I didn't. Our fries were just right- crispy but not overdone and they really didn't need any ketchup or any other sauce. They were very welcoming and provided friendly service. read more

Tried this place for the first time the other day. My wife had a pasta meal and I had a chicken parm sub. My wife received a very generous portion of pasta enough for lunch the following day. She loved it. The chicken parm was great and tasted very fresh and not to mention was a nice size. We will certainly be ordering again and trying there pizza. Even though there is no menu on line for Carlos PIzza but a menu attached to their website that doesn't belong to them they said, I should have know better! However, I thought i would give it a try and just order something I would like. This was the most unpleasant experience that i could have imagined. To busy to care. For the amount of money you pay for their food, don't bother! Horrible Horrible. Most importantly, when I know what I ordered but didn't get what I asked, I should have known better when I called and they couldn't wait to hang up the phone. Like I said just to busy to care about what I wanted. Boy oh boy. Then I call them back after getting the food and said that I didn't get what I asked for. He denied it and said to come look at his video. No thanks. I think I know what I asked and what he gave me was certainly not it. This is the only place I will ever order pizza from. I love their pizza because it isn't greasy, and that is very hard to come by with pizza! They do have delivery, and if you plan to pay for a delivery using a credit card, you have to tell them while you're ordering! There pizza always has an enormous amount of toppings on it, which is great!, and the crust is always perfect! I don't know what their secrets are, but it's working! read more

I should have known it wouldn't be too good by the ghetto sign they have. It was below average food quality. I got two pizzas for takeout. When I arrived, one was ready and warming on the oven, the other was still cooking in the oven. When I commented on why they weren't cooked together, the girl at the counter said this is how we do it. You would think you'd cook the customers' order together so that both pizzas are equally hot. Who wants to have one hot pizza and one warm really? I won't return to this place for two reasons, one the food wasn't all that great and two the way this place treats the customer. .. very unsatisfactory. read more

The person on the phone was pleasant. The person who delivered the pizza was pleasant and gracious when tipped. The pizza was definitely clean, neat, (not mushy, not oily, not squished in the box) and hot. All in all, I'd order from them again. read more
