It was bustling but service was not affected. It's a casual eat like the name says but not so casual that it wouldn't be a nice place for a date. Just not super fancy and I'm ok with that. The food was really good. We started with calamari and arancini. The calamari is the best we've had. Tender and flavorful. Everything you want in seafood. This was my first arancini so I don't have much experience but it was nicely flavored. Very dense and filling. Hubby got fish and chips. It wasn't super memorable. It was fine but there is better around. I got the sampler of meatball, chicken and eggplant in the red sauce. It was very good. It was so much food we took home another meal worth of food. I would say this is an absolute yes. Go give it a try.

I recently had the fish and chips and it was the best fish I have had in quite some time. The piece of fish was huge, the batter was flavorful and the fish was cooked perfect. We love their desserts too. Their bread pudding is a good go to and my kids cannot go and skip the chocolate cake. Prices are average. They share a lot with the strip mall and the parking lot gets packed at dinner time, especially on the weekends.

The employees were SOOOO sweet and helpful, made all the phone calls for me, made sure i had a new coffee and my three year old had a bottle of water and a snack. They seriously made the experience way less stressful than it could've been and i am soooo appreciative of them. I wish i got their names, but if you were working this morning thank you from the crazy lady with a loud toddler and little puppy locked in the car. i appreciate you all so much.

Our order included: * Rustic Baked Potato Soup -- 430 calories, 1,660 mg sodium * Three Cheese Lasagna Soup -- 360 calories, 1,460 mg sodium * Carnitas Elote Market Bowl -- 1,100 calories, 2,650 mg sodium When I tasted the Rustic Baked Potato Soup, I had two immediate thoughts: It tasted pretty good, and it tasted very salty. The Three Cheese Lasagna Soup is a new menu item. It was also pretty good, with a little spice, but it tasted salty as well, though not as salty as the potato soup. The Carnitas Elote Market Bowl was okay. The rice was pretty good, the avocado was very good, but the cucumber, which was one of my customizations, was limp. Perhaps that was because the bowl was placed underneath a hot container of soup in the same takeout bag. After tasting the potato soup, I checked the nutrition information and was surprised by the sodium levels. The recommended daily limit for most healthy adults is 2,300 milligrams. The potato soup alone contained nearly three-quarters of that amount, while the Market Bowl exceeded the recommended daily limit in a single meal. Salt can certainly make food taste better, but does it really need to be this salty? The place is huge, on point cultural music (albeit loud- I'm old I like quieter) and the queer o meter is a perfect 10. Most excellent. The complimentary chips n salad were delicious. Thin, warm and lightly salted with just enough heat to the salsa and nice flavor. The rest is pretty straightforward- a chicken quesadilla that was jammed with cheese. It oozed out of the sides. And a steak fajita - both were very very good. The fajita had a great flavor, hot and piled high with peppers and onions. The steak slices were tender and delicious too - I will put out there that might be the only "con" it, in my opinion, could've done with 3 or 4 more slices of steak. However there is an epic amount of the peppers and onion which I 100% appreciate. Our waitress was so friendly and top notch. Accommodating and available without hovering. Food was delicious, service wonderful and atmosphere comfortable (sans loud music ha ha) The prices seem to be higher than other Mexican places - ie. The fajita was $21 and usually I'd venture to say that's the shrimp or combo cost, not steak or chicken. So overall they are about $3 higher. In the end I was fine with that bc it's really good and I would go back! Thank you El Patron Corona!! Cheers!

All shareable, and the presentation is top-notch. We had the Spicy Crab Tostada, Spicy Chicken Wontons, and the Mexican Street Corn "ribs." Each dish was prepared to perfection. The Spicy Crab Tostada, like the wontons, had a light and crispy texture. The Spicy Chicken Wontons were equally delightful. And the Mexican Street Corn "ribs" were a unique treat. They were prepared by quartering the corn cob lengthwise, tossing it in a special sauce, and serving it. The "ribs" effect was that you held the quartered cob pieces and ate the kernels as if you were holding the bones of ribs. Be prepared for a few wet naps after finishing these delicious bites! There are many more enticing dishes to try, and I can't wait for our next visit. As a tribute to the late, great Charlie Daniels (who always ended the musical season at the

On this cool spring visit, we sat inside at a corner table with a nice view of the lake. We ordered: Happy Hour Chicken Tacos ($8) Happy Hour Fish Tacos ($8) Fish & Chips Dinner ($21) Merlot ($9) Cabernet ($11) The tacos are normally $16 for three on the dinner menu, so getting four for that price during Happy Hour is a good deal. Results were mixed. Starting with the positive: the Fish Tacos were excellent. The haddock was perfectly cooked--crispy and flavorful--served in grilled flour tortillas with shredded iceberg lettuce, creamy slaw, pico de gallo, and chipotle lime aioli. Really well done! The Chicken Tacos, on the other hand, were disappointing. The chipotle-braised chicken, along with the toppings, made them feel dense and soggy. Not something I would order again. The Fish & Chips was the biggest letdown. The fried haddock was thin and dry, and the fries were limp and not hot enough. The coleslaw was very good, though. Honestly, if they used the same haddock from the fish tacos here, it would be a big upgrade. Service was good overall, though the dinners took a while to arrive. Bottom line: 3 stars. Still the best restaurant option on the lake, but there's plenty of room for improvement.
