Popped by this place while visiting family and really enjoyed it. It is a really good spot on the Oxford/Webster line. They have a good bar and recently expanded dining room if you want it a little quieter. I had the fish and chips and it was wonderful. Big portion with beer batter. The fries were just OK and would recommend going with a different side, maybe onion rings? We also tried the corned beef Reuben which was excellent too. Service was friendly and on point. read more

Once again, another stellar meal. Today Lindsay was our server and was ABSOLUTELY fantastic. She anticipated our needs before we could even ask, had perfect timing and was super sweet to my rambunctious little, crazy 6 year old. I could have learned a lot from her in my server days! I would have been in the weeds so fast with how many tables I saw her checking on! My husband had the chicken and waffles, I had the upside down chicken pot pie and my 6 year old had the Tater Keg appetizer as her meal. We also started off with wings and Buffalo Chicken Dip. I'm so glad this place is literally down the street and offers the same quality as any Boston or Worcester comfort-food restaurant...but with a local, family friendly price tag. I, legit, am going to turn into a chicken wing if I keep going there. I can't get enough of the maple wings! I never would have thought I'd like such an "odd" flavor. We had those and the garlic parm...best I've ever had (and I'm not even a fan of garlic Parmesan wings!) My hubby has now had chicken and waffles twice and was equally impressed both times. What a great place to eat! Our waitress, AnnMarie, was the best.....so personable, welcoming and super attentive to our needs! Our food was so tasty! I had the Haddock Bites........the fish was so fresh I swear it was just caught! With that, I ordered a cup of clam chowder.....chock full of clams and nice and hot....just the way I like it! Also ordered at our table was the corn chowder.....excellent and an Italian grinder! Delicious! The restaurant was booming......every seat filled With smiling customers! Came here on my way home from Logan Airport to grab a bite and a drink. I wanted somewhere right off the highway and didn't have super high expectations and was pleasantly surprised! The food and drinks and service were all phenomenal. Right when I walked in, I could tell it was definitely a local hang out. Sometimes these spots can be hit or miss - if you aren't a regular you may get not so nice treatment, however, both bartenders were extremely nice and attentive. For food, I saw they had prime rib so that is what I ordered. It was delicious - cooked perfectly. The side Caesar salad and the spicy cheese curds I ordered for sides were also great. This is definitely going to become a regular spot for me whenever I am on my way home from Mass or Maine. There's so many other items I can't wait to try! read more

Have been wanting to try this place since they opened, just haven't gotten to it ! Today me and my lady found ourselves in Webster on the bike. We were greeted by a smiley hostess and sat right away. Shannon was our amazing waitress. Super helpful. We had a couple drinks and a couple apps. The saloontai and lake lemonade were delicious. Great pub food. There chicken sandwiches are huge! My wife and I shared one and we were both full. The pumpkin bread is like dessert. Everyone was ordering either the pumpkin or corn bread and for good reason. The wings are tasty too. I took my daughter there for her birthday about a year ago and we all had prime rib with me her and her fiancé we all loved it. My only complaint is the cut of meat wasn't big enough was only a 12 ounce I mean I used to go tol pub 99 in Auburn and I would eat a 20 ounce prime rib but all in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody because it's always packed and that's how you tell if the restaurant is good or not . read more

The food here is "pub style". Wehad the tater kegs which are our go to when we come here. For the entree I had the turkey burger and the hubby had shepherds pie. My burger was good, for being a turkey burger. The fries were great, I love salt and there was just the right amount on them. The hubby said "your shepherds pie is better". Disappointed after being told great place by alot of people. 3 attempts to get a draft. Kept ordering and then server kept coming back saying "we're out of that!" Saturday night for their Prime Rib (PR) dinner. My friend & I ordered the PR (medium rare & medium, respectively), Mac & cheese x2, garlic bread & a side salad. Her sister ordered steak tips, broccoli & garlic bread. 1st, how is garlic bread even listed as a side? Then it's a standard size with barely a hint of garlic. Honestly, it tasted like a frozen store brand knockoff. At least give a Texas Toast size of you're gonna count it as a side. 2nd, neither PR ($32 EACH) were cooked to request. They were both overcooked! When I told my friend hers isn't medium rare, the waitress remarked "oh that's because you guys got the last of the Prime Rib, they told me that. So when it comes down to the last of it, it's just the ends because the more tender & less cooked pieces have already been served." I said, oh it's a big piece of cooked meat that they cut off? She reply with yes. Shouldn't that be something a waitress would let customers know, esp when asking for the medium rare?! I had NO IDEA that was how PR was cooked & served. I thought it was cooked to order like a Ribeye & etc. Not only was it kinda dry (Queen cut) but also tasteless even in the "au jus sauce". 3rd, I didn't know that Mac & cheese had a sauce. Well this one was served in a tiny bowl so as your eating the Mac off the top...really the cheesy sauce is down below waiting for you to mix it all up. SMH 4th, there's a live band that started after our food arrived & almost deafened us with the sound check. The restaurant was loud before but now it become so much so that at a regular table you can barely hear the person in front of you even while leaning across. This place isn't big enough to have a live band, or maybe not one with such a loud setup, esp where they're positioned & the auditory assault you receive while walking by to live. I checked the Yelp reviews before going & decided to give it a chance. Having experienced it, I agree with some..."the food is ok, more like a bar with pub type food." Great service! Staff takes pride in their work and food is great. I recommend the pretzels , chicken wings and tuna sandwich. Still meaning to try the pizza. The prior establishment you walked in to be ignored by staff. Here you are greeted with a big hello and fast service. We usually sit at bar and love the wait staff.
