I found a beautiful 14k gold cross necklace with real diamonds that was displayed for $300, along with a 20% off sign in booth 10. I asked the owner what the price would be with the discount. Instead of honoring the displayed price, she weighed the necklace, realized it was 14k gold with diamonds, and told me she would only sell it to me for $700. She also said she could instead buy it for what it was listed and sell it for even more. (Great.. didn't need to know that.) As a customer, it was frustrating to be quoted one price on display and then be told a much higher price after asking to purchase the item. It felt misleading and left me with a very negative experience. Because of this experience, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this store. I believe customers should be able to rely on the prices displayed and be treated with honesty and respect toward hardworking people who love to support small businesses.

Comparable to the vintage/flea markets at Pasadena City College and Santa Monica Airport. Bring cash, as not all vendors take Venmo, Zelle or card. Bring a hat, too, given the 85-105 degree weather in LA this year. Plenty of free parking on campus by the market. So much easier to navigate than the Rose Bowl flea! If you like Knick knacks, random artifacts, vintage clothes, collectibles, homemade crafts and/or sports memorabilia, this will be paradise for you. Personally, I'm solely interested in candles and For Senses Candles are my go-to. I love to explore and see what's out there, though!

You can find a trinket for $2 or a gorgeous vintage 5 foot round illuminated clock, for $550. There were a lot of homemade musical instruments, which I thought were interesting. He says antique dealers come in and buy his stuff to sell for more elsewhere. I believe it. His prices are reasonable and negotiable, but he wasn't born yesterday. I found out what he pays for rent, and its a wonder he doesn't charge more. I bought a few things (including a fab $5 plastic bread box from the 50s or 60s) and was due a dollar change. He didn't have it. I told him to keep the dollar, but he insisted I scour the store for something else to get my money's worth. Once he saw my hesitance, he started to look around on my behalf as I walked toward the door. He offered a dusty card, an old frame, but my favorite was an iron meat grinder, that weighed around 20 pounds. It had the date melded onto its form: 1926. As charming as it was, I took an old CBS sign instead.

Very neat to have that kind of a variety. For example you can get a $20 skill candle or a $400 old operating table. See what I mean? It's definitely a great store to browse around. I easily spent 20 minutes just looking between their three rooms. The reason I did dock one star though is that while it was fun to browse, it's not necessarily my kind of merch. To each their own. Even more so I did find some of the prices to be a little high, maybe it's just me. One example I could give was I found a pretty simple necklace with a bat and heart that I've literally seen a hundred times over at Claire's. That necklace easily is about $7 or so, but here they were selling it for $35. I get they need to make a profit but the quality wasn't there and it was giving child's costume jewelry at a more expensive price. Surely they need to make the rent and knowing that a lot of people who come in are more so "just looking around" it makes sense prices need to be adjusted. A final positive to end on a good note is that the staff are absolutely lovely here. There were multiple staff working which I appreciated. Everyone was very very nice and welcoming. There are records, cassette tapes, dining ware, toys, pottery and anything you can think of. Just when I thought I was done touring the store, there was more! Amazing customer service from Sean and Sally! Prices are fair and the selection is endless! I found 5 vintage 1973 Pepsi Looney Toons cups! It was nostalgic and cute! I also got a red hand blown glass vase! There was so much more I wanted to get. On another visit for sure!

Lots of knick knacks and many can be categorized as vintage (like the vinyl records that most people born after the year 2000 might not know that these exist) Affordability is questionable but it depends on what you're looking for. It's not priced like the 99 cent store, which no longer exist, of course. Great find either way. I love browsing. Street parking available & there's a public parking structure next block over. Staff are friendly
