Absolutely loved this space, so many pieces to look at and nooks to explore and find hidden treasures in. Absolutely amazing experience with the owner Mike finding and bringing me new pieces based on what i was interested in! He even threw in a free pair of tights for me! A must visit for any interested in vintage finds!!!

Bell as advertised on FB Marketplace. Not my photo.
    Robin F.

We saw the coolest old bell advertised on FB Marketplace. Messaged about it, and Mike responded quickly. He was very professional and helped us problem-solve how we'd get it from his shop to our home. We showed up the next morning as the shop was opening, saw the bell was even cooler than described, and purchased it. We had to get back on the road so I could get to work, which was a bummer because the shop was full of interesting items. I plan on returning soon to investigate further. So very delighted with every aspect of this purchase.

You don't see a 24K gold plated skeleton everyday. It can be yours for $3400.

I'm not sure if this used to be a bike store or still is or what's going on. The address I went to is the one posted here and the painted name above the door is Eclectia so I'm assuming it's the right place even though all of the reviews talk of bikes and there weren't many in this shop. There was everything else, however. Tons of random items packed like sardines in a fire hazard hole in the wall. None of which stopped me from meandering in and looking in awe at all of the stuff. Vintage showgirl costumes and headpieces, one of the first hair perming machines that used electricity, japanese art, theatrical masks, a 24K gold plated skeleton and so much more. And it wasn't only the random items that intrigued me. It was also the haphazard way in which they were displayed (or stored, depending on how you look at it)...hanging, on top of each other, crammed into ever nook and cranny possible. I had a hard time deciding if I was in vintage paradise or a hoarder's hell. Either way, I kinda liked it and the guy running the shop was super friendly which is always a plus.

    Selection of Alcapulco chairs.
    Bryan W.

I have been looking for Acapulco chairs for some time. Scouring the internet and only finding the chairs available online via Innit Designs (http://bit.ly/LgM4eD) for $500. Imagine my surprise when I strolled (instead of drove) North on Lankershim and spotted four Acapulco chairs on the sidewalk down from my house! The owner of Eclectica has them manufactured and driven up from Mexico and sells them for less than $200. This was a surreal experience. In addition to these treasures of chairs which I had the hardest time finding Ron has a terrific selection of vintage bikes outside. Bikes are mostly between $40 and $100, but there are some treasures on consignment you should inquire about. I did not spend much time browsing the entire of his store, but a quick peak in promised some exciting finds among the curios and lamps.

Had my bike assembled and in working order in just 2 hours on a Friday. Look at the grin plastered on my face.

Storage container somehow advertised as a thrift store. Claustrophobic and difficult to walk through. Not even that great of a selection.

We were all over LA looking for one and we found this one in Orange County drove down here not knowing what to expect, well was, I surprised to find not only this shop but many others in this area, but this one was beautifully done. The sales people were lovely, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We didn't find the prom dress, but we did find a great store and we will come back again.

I came here on Wednesday 5/27 and was excited to show this place to another vintage loving friend. We were having a good time selecting pieces and shopping around. I had brought a blouse up to the counter that I noticed was priced as a 2 piece set , but there was no second piece attached to the hanger. I asked the woman at the counter if they knew where it was as I would've gladly preferred the set. She went over to ask the owner and when she came back she said they couldn't sell it until they located the second piece as it was a set. (It was priced as $88) which would've been too high to purchase as a single item anyway. Then she said something that we found completely appalling "unless we don't find the missing piece , you can purchase the top alone for $100) excuse me?? How does that make sense-- it's missing the pantsuit so you want to overcharge me? When we asked how they thought that was fair , she responded with "well it's a really RARE item" and we said it WAS RARE now how do you manage to mark up the price when it's missing the set ?? We both LAUGHED and She said "I'm sorry you feel that way" the audacity of them having a sign outside their shop that reads about supporting community when they demonstrate bad business practices such as this. We thought about putting all of our items back because we thought that was ludicrous on their part. But , we did spend so much time there .. in the end my friend put back a couple items she had planned on purchasing because she was so shocked that they thought that would fly with us ... Just calling something "RARE" does not excuse marking something up on the spot especially after the fact it's actually worth less now that we know it's actually missing a piece. Smh. Because of this we both won't be returning. There are plenty of beautifully curated vintage shops elsewhere who don't have bad business practice. Let me suggest a few other places for you to check out : Jet Rag, space city Vintage, American Vintage, Starday, Avalon Vintage, Sneaky Tiki just to name a few! :)

Consumers in any given community are constantly encouraged to shop local in order to help the…read moresurrounding economy and the actual business owners whom are often residents, themselves. It is by far a better choice than the mega retailers. But here is an even more amazing concept: when the local business in question that is helped by the community also helps the community in turn and/or nonprofits. Now, THAT is the most splendid symbiotic relationship that could ever be conceived! This is exactly what is happening at Burbank's very own Studio Hope. Allow me to explain... Studio Hope is a combination thrift store/vintage store/antique store/gift shop at the Hollywood Way/Clark intersection not far from the Magnolia Park area of Burbank where these stores are a dime a dozen. However, Studio Hope stands out not only because it is located a few blocks away; but also because it is a business created to 'do good'. Owned and operated by Lori and Dean, a husband-and-wife team both suffering with kidney/renal issues; this dynamic duo initially founded (1) a kidney nonprofit that helps adults/families/children suffering from renal conditions and (2) an animal nonprofit to help orphaned pets find forever homes. In turn, they founded Studio Hope which rather than operate for a profit; revenues help fund the two non-profits. So, if you shop at Studio Hope you are supporting charities versus a billion-dollar company AND the local economy! The local buzz has been raving about Studio Hope but I wasn't able to check them out until the end of 2025 when bringing them my end-of-year donations (they accept donations and offer a receipt for your tax deductions). I was absolutely enthralled the moment I walked into the shop with its vintage/antique vibe and art collective. This place is less thrift store and more vintage - in the best way possible. Studio Hope offers amazing clothing (some modern and the BEST vintage finds!), purses, jewelry, shoes, housewares and furniture, trinkets, art, etc. Studio Hope isn't just a store: it is an experience and is heaven for lovers of all things vintage and antique. You would expect that these top-tier wares being sold at Studio Hope would fetch a pretty penny due to their own worth alone plus needing to be relatively comparative to competitors. Wrong! I was shocked to find some crush-worthy vintage at affordable prices and I am poor so my judgement can be trusted! Dean and Lori's Studio Hope does not screw patrons over. During my visit in which I purchased an adorable enamel ice cream cone pin; I successfully made a clothing donation and was thanked profusely while also being introduced to Lori. Lori is a doll: friendly, inclusive, conversational, humble and obviously appreciates each and every customer. This truly 'sells' the business even more making one want to return to Studio Hope. Studio Hope is also 'cool' as they work with the local film studios and host events like "Bridgerton" viewing parties. They also utilize their store for work with their charities such as the 'prom' they put on for the teens part of their kidney nonprofit allowing them to choose among the store's gowns. Studio Hope is truly compassionate. My only complaint is that it is street-meter parking only which is a bit annoying when schlepping donations and unable to catch a close meter but Studio Hope is worth contending with this 'grievance'. If you love vintage/antiques AND want to feel good about where your dollar ends up then Studio Hope is for you and an absolute must-visit! Make sure to hi to Lori!

If you are into horror and such this is definitely a spot you would like. There are a variety of items to purchase here. Some are more run of the mill mass produced items like candles, purses, slippers, books and such. While other items were clearly thrifted and one of a kind or vintage. Very neat to have that kind of a variety. For example you can get a $20 skill candle or a $400 old operating table. See what I mean? It's definitely a great store to browse around. I easily spent 20 minutes just looking between their three rooms. The reason I did dock one star though is that while it was fun to browse, it's not necessarily my kind of merch. To each their own. Even more so I did find some of the prices to be a little high, maybe it's just me. One example I could give was I found a pretty simple necklace with a bat and heart that I've literally seen a hundred times over at Claire's. That necklace easily is about $7 or so, but here they were selling it for $35. I get they need to make a profit but the quality wasn't there and it was giving child's costume jewelry at a more expensive price. Surely they need to make the rent and knowing that a lot of people who come in are more so "just looking around" it makes sense prices need to be adjusted. A final positive to end on a good note is that the staff are absolutely lovely here. There were multiple staff working which I appreciated. Everyone was very very nice and welcoming. I love their passion for this store and enthusiasm. Nice people work here and I'm glad there is a store like this around for those who can truly appreciate what it has to offer.
