I forgot the name of my order but I tried 3 different orders on three different days while I was there. They were all impressive. The employees are beyond friendly. It's a small cute shop with small tables but great experiences. They have some ok-healthy choices too. Will definitely come back when I visit the city next time.

Amazing breakfast food and the most delicious pastries - can't recommend enough. Their desserts are on the larger side portion-wise. I found them on Rappi first and, given the name, didn't realize they had a physical location until I walked by one day. The cafe itself very cute!

Oat milk latte, croissant and happiness

This place was extremely good. I found it here on yelp and decided to check it out. They have oat milk available, which is a must for my morning cafecito. I also got a croissant that they warmed for me and it was flaky and delicious!! The service was excellent. They are so friendly and kind. Being in there, a man wearing a Florida Pass-a-grille shirt walked in and I was just like what a synchronicity and absolute confirmation we were meant to be there. See, we are from St Petersburg, Fl and the chances of finding someone else from there in Mexico was very rare. So of course I saw the magic and just knew we were in the right place at the right time. The place is super cute. With indoor and outdoor seating. However, They have only 2 chairs inside, which was nice because drinking hot coffee outside in this heat has been an experience of sweat and happiness haha. So we definitely appreciated those 2 chairs inside. I went back the next day! I recommend to anyone looking for friendly service and good food and coffee.

The cutest coffee and breakfast spot we visited in Playa Del Carmen!! They have seating mostly on their patio where we decided to sit and have breakfast. They do have a coffee counter to order when you're on the go. The person who took our order was so nice! She helped us since we were a group of 6 and put a couple tables together for us to sit together. I ordered an iced vanilla latte that was really good. For the meal, I ordered a ham and cheese croissant with scrambled eggs. It was delicious! I tried my sister's avocado toast and that was also so good. We were all looking for a to go drink to keep the caffeine going and found that they had a dirty horchata drink. My sister ordered it and everyone fell in love! I think I ended up having four or five of these iced dirty horchata drinks the whole trip. I'd come back here just for that!

Cutest little breakfast coffee Best caramel macchiato I've had. Their buttered croissant is fresh and flaky. Their carrot cake is divine. A must stop if you're in the area to wake up to. Love the service. Attentive and so nice. We have a few days left here and I'll be back to enjoy.

Amazing food, good prices, cozy location, just off the beaten path with all the shops. Real local gem. It took about ten minutes to get them to take our order but the wait was worth it.

Friendly & timely service. Cute small cafe. Fresh ingredients & flavorful. The smoothies & fruity shots are delicious. Reasonably priced, nice portions. Clean. I would've had breakfast here every day but I wanted to try different places. I heard the carrot cake is a must.

Great little coffee shop. We stopped in for a quick bite before exploring Playa. I ordered an almond croissant with yogurt and granola. My companion ordered the avocado toast with Serano ham. The almond croissant was tasty, but a little different than I expected because it had been sliced open and filled with almond butter. It did have almonds on top. My granola and fruit were delicious. My companions, avocado toast, with Serrano ham was outstanding, and the portion was huge. She was unable to finish it, so I ate the rest. We also had an iced latte and a chai iced latte that were both very good as well. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient and I would highly recommend this for a delightful little breakfast.

Picked up these pastries after a long day at the beach club and my, oh my.... These were so good. Not sure if it was because i was drunk, BUT the tart pastries are not too sweet, light, and have a great play on textures. The cakes were tasty, but unfortunately we dropped them all in the car haha. I loved the chocolate ones and I've never had a better pain au chocolate in my life!! Cheeers to my first international trip and a taste of Mexico. Best pastries I've ever had.

Offering a concise menu from 7:00am until 10:00pm daily, Carlota Home Bakery has gained notoriety amongst tourists for quick service and accessible options, an early stop on Tuesday neither bad nor particularly memorable save for the fact that prices trend higher than Playa del Carmen's more traditional Bakeries. Small in size, a half dozen tables bridging interior to patio, it was after being informed that menu items are only offered for dine-in that seats were taken, Pastries such as the Cinnamon Roll and Carrot Cake unremarkable while layered Corn Cake and delicate Alfajores fared better. Waiting nearly fifteen minutes for the rest, a Ham and Cheese Croissant laughably small and the Viennoiserie no better than pre-frozen, Carlota's Frappuccino was mostly froth and Ice Cubes while the Avocado Toast was stingy in its toppings but clever in terms of the "Toad in the Hole" plating.

This is a small American style bakery that is very close to the middle of Playa del Carmen's Fifth Avenue. They do have two outdoor tables but this is mainly a takeout kind of place with a standing room only interior. The menu had a fairly standard selection - bagels, croissants, yogurt, avocado toast, coffee drinks and a good variety of cakes and tarts. We tried a few of the baked goods from here and they were all fairly fresh and tasty. Prices were average and definitely priced for the American tourist.

Lovely little shop with a nice selection of drinks and pastries. Take a note to swing by for a snack or refreshment!

The food here is okay. I preferred the sandwiches to the breakfast options. The juices were good as well. This is a cute place though and instagramable. I really liked the waitresses but the service is slow.

Ended up getting coffee and croissant twice because it was close and good. One chicken sandwich to go - was a long process but would return.

My mom had to vomit after their mixed fruit. There was barely any fruit in the bowl. This food is neither natural and nor healthy.
