Ordered two burgers, a large fry, and some chicken stars. The meal was $35, we asked for sauce and we were told we would have to be charged for sauce. We get home, and we notice a whole burger is NOT in the bag. We go back to get our burger and weren't even asked if we wanted something for the inconvenience. Upon entering the restaurant (which was absolutely empty inside) I was greeted by an employee wiping down tables. Super easy to order, in fact the lady at the register helped figure out our coupons. Let's face it, I can get a burger and fries anywhere for a lot less money. The reason I keep coming back to this Carl's is for the exceptional customer service. The staff is always friendly, professional, and respectful - even when facing the imposable to please customers, and I've witnessed that quite frequently. My only complaint is the awkward and impersonal AI ordering system. Fortunately, I can ask for a team member and bypass that interaction. read more

After having a 1/3lb Angus (51% beef?) Big Char Chile Burger today, I will never visit Carl's Jr again. It had 2 short thin shriveled Anaheim Chile 1/2-inch-wide strips on top of a 3 in square slice of pepper jack cheese (real cheese?). Under the patty was a leaf of lettuce and a little tomato. Pathetic, like kid's burger quality for $8.49. It's been 3 years since my previous visit, things have changed. To the owner -- Save your patronizing boilerplate responses for other reviews. Not sure why this place has such low rating. I came in at night. Our burgers were very good. The place was clean and the staff was so very friendly. I appreciate the welcoming no matter the place. I have always had a special appreciation to the taste of their burgers. Perhaps because I grew up eating them. Back in my day it used to be cheap to come and eat here and in just about every burger joint. Now is a bit more expensive and we don't really eat out much. I went through the drive I ordered a 5 piece chicken tender medium with a coke and waffle fries (that order was right) then I ordered a Santa Fe chicken sandwich with a medium diet Dr Pepper ( that was right) then I ordered a western bacon cheese burger combo medium with a sprite and zucchini. That's not what I got, I got the first two orders correctly but the last as it said the receipt was medium fries and zucchini but all I got was the zucchini. I ended up splitting the Santa Fe chicken sandwich and it was awful, soggy with just chicken and cheese doubt I will go to this location or any Carl's Jr anytime soon. Ruined my night!!! read more

Can't believe that I'm the first person to write a review if this place. It's a Carl's Junior so once you've been to one you've probably got the routine. But the girl was wonderfully friendly, our custom ordered sandwiches came out like we asked and they were accommodating when we wanted some extra sauce on the side. First time @ this location, food is the same as always.. it's edible fast food. What will make me come to this location again was the cashier, "Miriam" I believe, She was awesome! She took an order in English... then Spanish... then a guy who couldn't speak, she sign-languaged her way through it and took his order correctly! 3 customers ordered before me.. we were all sitting in the dining area, she remembered everyone's order! She wasted no time at all.. checked on patrons to make sure their food was great.. few minutes later, she was cleaning the soda machine... always with a smile on her face. Just a moment please let me ask my granddaughter what she wants the person taking the order continued talking to me. I had to tell the person taking the order to wait several times to find out what my Granddaughter wanted. When I got my order the burger was not what I ordered, The fries were barely warm, I always taste them right away as I drive away. one of the drinks was coke but not a sprite as I ordered (Small) The other was a Coke (Medium) just as I had ordered. I had to literally raise my voice to tell the person taking my order to STOP so I can get my granddaughter's selection, The person taking the order still kept on talking rapidly with various selections. There was no indication that it was spicy. 30 minutes after I ate it I had the most horrendous heartburn I've ever had the pleasure to experience. I thought I was having a heart attack. I came in for breakfast and I was the only customer inside at the time and the girl who was at the cash register said she would be right back as she was talking with her significant other. They both went outside and I was left waiting. 5 minutes passed and Cody came to the register to take my order and was super nice and apologized for the wait. Cody handled my order and I got it quick. On my way out the employee was still arguing with her significant other out front. Not professional at all. Excellent customer service. I have a very picky toddler who wouldn't stop complaining about the presentation of his milkshake. I normally wouldn't try to return or exchange food at a fast food place unless the order is completely wrong (especially at the request of a fussy child). However, it was one of those days where you're just too exhausted to deal with the tantrums. I reluctantly went back in to return the milkshake and to my surprise the staff was very understanding. They were kind, professional, and sympathetic to my situation. They replaced the milkshake and added an order of chicken stars. Some might find it silly to write a positive review for a fast food chain, but it was well deserved. Oftentimes kind gestures are overlooked. Thank you to the staff that worked on the evening of Memorial Day. You accommodated this tired mother, and made my day a little easier. read more

The service here is just terrible. It took the front counter employee a good 6 minutes to acknowledge us. When I asked if there was a cashier available the manager in charge to the employee to assist us in line. There were at least three people waiting to be served. This was the worst meal I've ever had. I asked for a "guacamole bacon" or the #8 but I asked with only the lettuce,cheese and the main things(the guacamole and the bacon) as a combo with fries. The fries were cold and the first time I got my burger it has no bacon and had LOTS of tomato not just the one in the guacamole but slices of tomato when I specifically said only lettuce and cheese. Another thing was when we went to get napkins it was empty the thing that was supposed to have napkins had no napkins. The people had no patience and only gave us dirty looks. read more

This burger suppose to come with pepper jack cheese. When I complained, they insisted it was pepper jack cheese. I know the difference in taste between Swiss and pepper jack. Have the dignity to admit a mistake was made, don't keep insisting it was pepper jack. I honestly don't think I will come back to this location.
