I ate here last night and it was one of the worsts for sure, the chicken was extremely greasy and I couldn't even eat it burgers were undercooked floors were dirty service was horrible and the workers were pointing at me and gossiping. I would not recommend eating here. read more

Ordered 3 hamburgers and a 3 piece and everything tasted like shit the 3 piece had enough grease to fry a whole other 3 piece and the service and attitude was horrific, i will not be coming back to this establishment and I recommend not to eat here even if its the last place on earth...... Unfortunately, me and my wife thought this is one of the better fast food places in La Junta. The food was good however, the people working the counter were terrible. When we walked in about noon on a Saturday, literally only one party if six were there and they already had their food. The girl at the counter was picking at her nails, looked at us turned grabbed some food for drive through, never addressed us and walked away. The skinny white dude with tattoos (I have many myself) and rings covering almost every finger walked by several times and never addressed us. Finally the girl surfaced and said what do you want. Then walked away when we started to order. Then the ring guy walked up and called out an order number and a gentleman came up to the counter. The customer wanted to order more food to go and it really upset the guy wearing all the rings. The reason I mention this is it's a food safety issue wearing big Gotti rings like he's some sort of big shot. When the customer wanted to order more food, it was a huge inconvenience, and he stood there and shook his head and sighed while punching the order in. You could tell he was very upset doing the job he's paid to do. I was ready to walk out when the girl came back out and said have you decided yet? We placed our order, got our drinks and went and sat down. Mr. BIG shot tattooed ring guy brings our tray out, drops it on the table, walks away without saying a word. No napkins, no condiments no nothing. So I walk up to the counter to try to get some napkins and condiments. Mr. BIG shot tattooed ring guy walks behind the counter and back out two or three times never looking at me I stood there (at this point. It's a principal issue) for about 2 minutes until a cook from the kitchen, stepped out and asked if I needed something, I said, may I please have some catchup and napkins. He was more than happy to help me out, gave me what I needed. Tattooed ring guy walked by the cook from the kitchen while this was happening and never addressed anything. FYI, never saw the little girl again. I assume she was somewhere in a corner picking at her nails or doing something else besides working.. I can promise you this if I walk into that restaurant and see the little girl or Mr. BIG shot ring tattooed guy again I will turn around and walk out. read more

I like these guys, and gals there.. I always get fast friendly service, food is hot, right from the grill. Take in your own cup, only like .80 cents to fill, as opposed to $1.99 or more for a large, especially in drive through. Eating in just buy a small water cup and keep refilling. My son and I went to get lunch. But we got to the window to pay and pick up our order while waiting. We both saw an employee cough several times I. Her shirt and hand. Did not wash her hands and then bag food. Glad we had not paid for our order. We left after witnessing that. read more

My first time at a Carl's Jr. I'm not really a "fan" of fast food, or greasy food but, if it's what you've got, then you make the best of it, right? I was pleasantly surprised. I had a BBQ chicken sandwhich - and they made darn sure that the chicken was not going to fly out from between the buns. Was a bit difficult to eat, as the skin got a bit tuff, but it wasn't horrible. Tried the zucchini and onion rings - they were good as far as fast finger foods go. La Junta is not actually a restaurant haven, but compared to some of the other places to eat this place is great. The food is good and if you use the coupons that are sent in the mail it is very affordable. They have a cook named Gary he is really hot. read more

I was a little iffy about the place to start with but decided to give it a try with my 4yr old. Outside is generic and the inside is run down and dirty. It took forever to get our order and while we waited we got to hear the gossip about how the cashier slept with the cook's brother who also happened to be the drive thru guy. Yippee. Two tries did not get my order right which was a plain cheeseburger. Instead of a new burger, an attempt was made at scraping off the condiments off the old one and still it wasn't right. How can you screw up meat, cheese, bun and mustard. This place is awful. Don't eat here read more
