Waiting for my kid to get her nails done thought I catch up on reading and grab some fast food because I've not eaten here in over 15 years. The burger almost broke my tooth with the old weird onion ring that I could not bite through. Literally the onion ring is like a day old. The chocolate shake did not taste anything Iike chocolate. If I could give no stars I will. I ordered through post mates and they were quick to charge me but didn't give me my whole order. On top of that I called 10 times and a woman Sarah answered I asked to speak to a manager she said there are no managers till the morning and I asked to speak to someone who can give refunds then I got hung up on and then finally after they put the phone back on the hook Giovani finally answered and I simply asked for a refund for my 5 dollar fries and he said what's your name and he said are you sure because I packed that order myself. I haven't been to CJ for a long time and visited the CJ at 7598 Vegas Dr, Las Vegas, Service was subpar but that's not what bothered me. When the gal rang up my bill I saw a '20% Corporate Tax' appear on the register display and my paper bill. I asked her what that was and she mumbled something about a corporate use tax ?!?!? I should have left right then, since they also messed up my order and had to refund the difference from the till. I have googled this corporate tax and came up blank. My first job at age 16 was at Carl's Jr. in California. I really loved every aspect of my job. Luckily I didn't have to make fries. When I was a meat eater I would chose Carl's Jr's "charbroiled" burgers. If there was even a chance of healthy charbroiling was an options for me as to cook the fat off and the taste be authentic American burger. I have a new motto for expressing customer service across the board whether it be a restaurant or grocery store. "It's a hit or miss"!! Usually the drive thru personnel are experienced, but then you get the person that you can't understand or has zero customer service, offering ketchup, napkins etc. I like to sit down and eat if possible. The staff here so far have been for the most part very nice and accommodating. Going plant based and saving animals is my priority. So happy Carl's Jr. is on board with the same concept. read more

The customer service could improve HUGELY!!!! I have never been somewhere where the drive thru attendant was so mean and rude about everything . I go there a lot and past 2 days I went I felt so annoyed I didn't want to spend any more money there . Hire nicer employees I myself was a restaurant manager and did work at carls a while ago and never once have I treated people as mean as this young man does . A smile would be nice , also substitute some breakfast option! I ordered a side of chicken and side of biscuit (due to not eating any pork ) and same Guy .... I just got home from this location. My ticket # is 56. I ordered a Superstar and got a Famous star for the price of a Superstar sandwich instead. A couple of months ago this same thing happened and fortunately that day, the District Manager was there and rectified the situation. It seems like I need to now open whatever sandwich I order and inspect to see if everything is all there. Oh my God!! I've eaten here plenty of times. I usually go through the drive-through in the mornings, pretty much recognize the employees, I'm sure they recognize me. But after TODAY....I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!! I ate western burger combo (as usual) and it didn't taste right. So the fries tasted weird wasn't hot nor warm. Burger was mediocre. Ordered a large chocolate chip shake on way home from work and was told only comes in medium. So no big deal came to window and shake was in a large cup prob 20 or 16 oz. that was just a little over half full with no whip cream and Saran Wrap over that top. Where I grew up nearest Carl's or Hardee's was over half hour away so when moved to Vegas 13 years ago was happy to know vegas had Carl's Jr. all over the city . Have been frequently going to carls since moving here. I like that you can get a big juicy burger and a shake at anytime at Carl's . Many other fast food stores close earlier and if open usually shut down shake machine early . I don't drink soda and a good burger and a shake is a craving I have to feed time to time. There motto "eat like you mean it" and this was so disappointing I decided to post a review and I mean it. I can recall a few times other places say shake machine down and I cancel my order and go elsewhere . If this is the quality and price of there shakes moving forward I may have to find another place to feed that shake and burger craving , which late night may be tough. I love that Carl's by me is 24 hrs and only once in 13 years have I heard our shake machine down and they said they where cleaning it which I believe from past experiences. Before this shake came in 2 sizes I think regular and large . Not sure but wanna say was like 3.79 for regular and 4.19 for large. I often got regular with my meal knowing large was just too much and usually my stomach would regret having large. We were in need of a quick dinner a couple of nights ago so we ordered at the drive thru. Based on their tv ads depicting a delicious looking new bacon ranch burger and the hand breaded chicken sandwich, we ordered one of each, onion rings and fried zucchini. When we opened up the containers we were looking at a burger that appeared to have been squashed down and the wrong style of chicken sandwich. (I ordered the basic and they gave us a bacon lettuce and tomato style). The chicken patty was small and overcooked and the bacon on both was limp and tough. The onion rings were overcooked and bland and the coating is gritty like sand. The one star is for the zucchini, the only well prepared item. If you think these new sandwiches look good on the Carls Jr. commercials, trust me, what you'll get is far from it. read more

I went here today for a meal with my mom & that was a BIG mistake. The POS system went down after we ordered, which was no big deal, stuff happens. What shouldn't have gone down was the attitude I caught from one of the workers, Daniela, the girl with glasses. She was INCREDIBLY rude & snarky. She said there was no button on their POS system for a plain biscuit, but rang me up for an egg biscuit. Why not say that BEFORE charging the customer? I've been able to order a plain biscuit before without issue. I asked for a refund & she loudly huffed and puffed. When I was getting the drink for my mom, she asked another worker if my order was for dine in or to-go and the girl must not have heard her. She rudely asked me the same question. Because of Daniela's attitude, my mom & I could not enjoy our meal. I requested her name & just sent an email to corporate regarding this visit because it was so bad. She probably had no issue copping an attitude as it did not look like there was a manager on duty. If she was the manager on duty, she needs to be removed from the position, or she needs to get training on how to be friendly to customers. I get that it's not the greatest job in the world, but don't take your frustrations out on customers. I came the other morning for breakfast with a coupon and tried the Maple Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. The sausage was freaking good. It reminded me of the Johnsonville breakfast sausage my wife cooks. The biscuit was hot and damn good for a fast food place. The hash browns are nuggets and surprisingly not too greasy.
