I came here for ice cream late night, it was about 2:30am, pulled up to the drive thru speaker excited that there was someplace I could get some yummy ice cream at 2:30am. I was met with the most miserable, rude, angry, I hate my job and every person who lives, woman that I have ever met! It totally caught me off guard! She very rudely told me they were in the middle of a shift change and she couldn't sell me anything for 30 mins or more she couldn't give me a set time... duh I should know this (she didn't say this but this is what I know she was thinking.....) and I really hoped she was the employee who was getting relieved because I didn't want any of her fun sucker self around anything I was going to be eating.... I decided to wait because the need for ice cream was way bigger than my disappointment with the staff.. When they finally finished shift change 40 mins later I pull up to the speaker and for the love of god it was the negative fun sucking Sally's voice who came thru the speaker. I had just waited 40 mins at 230am (do the math) for ice cream I WAS NOT LEAVING WITHOUT A SONIC BLAST! So in the cheery of cheeriest voices I order a double Reese's cup sonic blast.... Wait for it.... She tells me "no Reese's right now!!! I could have just cried!! my excited trip to Sonic was no more!! I did get a Oreo with cookie dough blast and even tho miserable, angry at the world, fun sucking Sally was the one who made it, it hit the SPOT!! Sonic Drive-In is one of the more unique fast food experiences. It's been several years since I've stopped by a Sonic! This location is off of the 95N/Cheyenne exit. It still has the retro style drive up stalls and service to the vehicle! There is also a drive thru option at this Sonic Drive-In as well! Sonic's menu has changed over the years. It now offers a wide variety of options Chicken Tenders Chicken Sandwiches Hot Dogs Burgers Breakfast Options: French Toast Sticks, Burritos, Breakfast Toasters Snacks and Sides: Tots, Mozzarella Sticks, Onion Rings, and much more! I specifically wanted to come to Sonic for their current collaboration feature which is the SONIC x GRILLO'S PICKLES. Pickles is one of my favorite foods and when I saw all of the different options on Sonic's menu, I just had to go! My husband and I stopped by Sonic on a Thursday for a late lunch. We pressed the red button to place our order. I ended up getting the following Big Dill Double SONIC Smasher (No sauce). It comes with Burger, Lettuce, Cheese, and lots of pickles! Picklertia Slush: It has a flavor mix of pickle juice, tart lime, with pickle juice flavor boba and a grillo pickle topped on the drink! It's only available in a medium size. Pickle Seasoned Tots We didn't wait too long for the meal, approximately 15 minutes. We did notice when the food arrived that no napkins or other condiments like ketchup were provided. I'm not sure if that's normal since it's been years since I've gone to a Sonic. I really enjoyed the burger. The smasher burgers were perfectly seasoned and the grillo pickles were awesome! The Picklertia slush was interesting. I enjoyed the base flavor of the pickle juice and tart lime, but I didn't prefer the taste of the pickle flavored boba. The pickle seasoned tots were good, but it was missing some ketchup for me! Luckily, I took the tots out of the Sonic bag to keep them crispy! I really enjoyed the SONIC x GRILLO PICKLES collab. I get that times are tough and prices are up everywhere, but the way some businesses are cutting corners or skipping proper training is painfully obvious at this Sonic location. First off, charging an extra 61 cents for whipped cream on a Blizzard is already annoying, but if I'm paying for it, I expect more than a sad little dollop that looks like it gave up halfway through. To make things worse, the ice cream itself was noticeably short like a full two inches missing from the top. It felt like a slap in the face, especially when you're treating yourself after a long day. As someone who also works hard for their paycheck, I genuinely can't understand how an employee could hand that over to a paying customer with a straight face. And let's talk about speed or lack thereof. The wait time was ridiculous, even though the place wasn't that busy. Between the poor portion, missing whipped cream, and the super slow service, it just felt like the bare minimum effort was being given all around. I ordered through Uber Eats, so I couldn't address the issue in real time. That makes it even more frustrating, because delivery orders should be handled with extra care we're already paying more in fees, tips, and markups. The least you can do is make sure the order is right and presentable. Sonic, do better. read more

We showed up at this location at 7390 right after the new year. I don't think that they were equipped to handle the amount of traffic coming through. They claim the mention that our order for two hotdog dogs and one corn dog and one order of fries would take 20 minutes, we never heard them say that. They repeated it back to me got to the window paid after a long wait they didn't get my grilled cheese kids meal, but they repeated the drink back to me and the grilled cheese kids meal. Next, I went up to the window obviously I asked him. Did you charge me for the grilled cheese kids meal? They said no I said well can I place an order for it? No tots or anything, the grrl putting in the order had alittle attitude which I didn't understand but whatever at that point. They have habit of not listening at all when somebody speaking the blizzard or shake whatever you wanna call it. The toppings were on the top only they weren't mixed in. The only thing they got right was the mozzarella sticks the pickle fries I got a large pickle fry and they were only half full. That's the only thing I took a picture of because I was Just a little annoyed. It would be nice if the workers would actually listen to what the customers are saying and get the items done right so nobody's wasting time. If I've been in the past then it must have not been impressive enough for me to remember The set-up on how to order is different from most fast food places. You have the drive-thru option as well as the drive-in which means that you drive into a parking spot and order from the screen in your stall. This was pretty cool because we got to take our time to review the menu. The person that took our food out to us was super friendly The food was just ok. Nothing super special and unfortunately my fries were cold ... who even likes cold fries ‍ I decided to try this mini dessert that they had on special and I wasn't too happy with it. Believe it or not, it was my first time trying Sonic. We wanted to grab something quick before my sons game and it was down the street from the field. We pulled in to one of the parking stalls and were looking at the order board. The gal was quick to welcome us through the speaker and take our order. However, I must be honest, placing our order was painful. We would order something and she would repeat something different. My husband was getting frustrated and it got to the point where he had to yell for her to understand. So we waited 10 minutes, nothing. Then Brian comes up to our car and asks if we ordered, repeats our order to us. Yep, that was ours! He said the girl that took the order charged it to the wrong stall. SMH, but oh well, right. Anyways, Brian was great, apologized and was super friendly. He brought us ranch and extra napkins with a smile. Brian, even though young, had great customer service and was well spoken for his age. Drinks always make me feel giddy inside but not so much the food. Luckily the guy who brought out my food to me asked me to look just to make sure everything was satisfactory.
