here's my experience: I ordered a shake, a famous star, cheeseburger, and a 3 piece chicken strips meal using coupons. I get to the window and the lady took my coupons and put my shake down but then proceeded to spend five minutes trying to figure out how to do coupons with the manager. She then comes to collect payment and finally offers the shake, it was pretty runny at this point so I asked for a different one, she modified it to make it more frozen - thank you for doing that, I appreciated it :) That was the only positive thing about the experience. I got home and opened my bag and see that I had been given the the wrong order. My bag had a jalapeno double cheeseburger, a guacamole '6 dollar burger' whatever they call em these days, and a grilled chicken sandwich. this food was for three people. Person a, took off the jalapenos and settled for it, person b outright refused the food saying the sandwich wasnt what they wanted. I wanted the famous star so I settled for the guacamole burger feeling like it was an upgrade and thus a net win in the 'food lottery' sort of sense. What prompted me to write this review was that I've come to eat the burger and it tastes moldy. I thought it was the buns, so I removed the buns, nope, it was something in the cheese or the lettuce. They have poor management and should have had that car pull around if it was going to take that long. Also you cannot pull around so you are forced to wait. Ever since I started "watching my carbs", I would just toss the bun away whenever I got a burger anywhere. (I know, that's such a waste!) So, today, I tried the "Low Carb" alternative at Carl's Jr by ordering my Original Thickburger wrapped in lettuce instead of in a bun. Carl's Jr's Thickburger has always been my favorite fast-food burger anyway because it actually is 'thick' (and not dried out in the middle), plus their lettuce is always crispy (not limp and wimpy) and the tomato slices are thick and fresh. Naturally, I expected the lettuce wrapping around my burger to also be crispy and substantial enough to support the burger and all the other ingredients. . .and it definitely was. So, anyway, the burger along with all the "produce" accompanying it were really, really good. Also, this particular Carl's Jr at SE 148th and Division was impressive because its dining room was super neat, tidy, and spotlessly clean. All the tables were cleared off, and even all the chairs were pushed back in their proper place under the tables. Wow, I don't often see that. read more

I'd give this location zero stars if I could. Just once I'd like my order to be correct. Both times, within the last month, they've screwed up my order. The first time they screwed up, I ordered a burger and asked for mustard on it, because the guy taking the order said there was no mustard on the burger. They put so much mustard on the burger that I had to throw it away. Tonight I ordered the famous star with cheese and asked for no mayonnaise, because I'm allergic. I asked the lady to make sure it has no mayonnaise, because I'm allergic. I get home and what do I see? My burger is slathered in mayonnaise. Carl's jr. Provides a lettuce wrap on any of their burgers. My girlfriend and I have been doing the keto diet and was excited to see that we could get a lettuce wrapped Burger. Once we got home we noticed that the receipt was correct but the burger was made normal with a bun. We called them they said they will replace the order. I took in the food and they did replace just the one Burger and we're not willing to compensate me having to drive all the way back. I appreciate so much feeling the order correct the second time. I did not appreciate being told over the phone they would replace the entire order and then only replacing just the one Burger. I'm not looking for free food but I am looking for good customer service. And a business with integrity. To get return customers they should have offeredan an apology, and kept their word. This is our local Carl's and the place where we first had the steak & egg breakfast burrito, but they seem to be slipping in quality of product and service. The burritos tasted fine, but they weren't hot it was like they were made from warm ingredients, not very appetizing. The drive through took forever, so my assumption is they made the burritos and served them to us when we got to the window 10 minutes later. They either need to move the people through with Big orders and make them wait or make the orders as they get to the window when they are smaller orders. I have been going to this location for a good many years, the taste/ service and speed of which the food gets too you can vary however, for the most part quick and hot. From the window view and walking in the dining area the kitchen seems reasonably clean as well as the dining area, customer service has always been very good. read more

If I could hive zero stars I would. I asked for fresh fries, was told wouldn't be a problem. Roughly 10 minutes later the cook went to the back, and the cashier told them I wanted fresh fries. The cook proceeded to dump the fries back into the container they hold them in and rescoop the same fries into a new container. I asked for fresh fries again and was told they were fresh. I then asked for the manager who told me if I didn't mind waiting he would drop new fries for me. I said that'd be great. At that point he said go have a seat and ill bring them right out to you. I said I'll just wait here for them and watch. The cook did the same thing and he turned to me maybe 30 seconds later and tried to say they were brand new. I let him know they weren't and he said touch them they're hot. I grabbed one, broke it in half and was like it's Luke warm. He then said do you want this or so you want a refund? I said ill take the refund and asked for store info to reach out to cooperate. He chuckled and said ill be the one calling you back and gave me the info and said his name is Aldo. At that point I called corporate on the restaurant and as soon as I did he walked to the back, I looked at the cook who saw I was on the phone and the cook immediately started to dump all the fries in the garbage. When we got home, after unwrapping one burger we found a PILL (medicine) on the top of the bun, slightly smashed in to ensure its place. The lady that works nights with the glasses is a c**t and I don't use that word often. We pull up at about 12 or so and say that we are getting milkshakes. My friend orders first and then we get the second order and I say I want an Oreo shake and a chocolate shake and she says "we only have two shakes left" to which I respond, "what?" Because I was confused about what she meant by that. I then get nothing but silence on the speaker and I then say "hello?"
