1st I went I enjoyed it, the young gentleman is very kind and sweet. He had no problem letting me order the 50 count pack of nuggets thru the drive thru and prior to ordering I told them I apologize for the big order and for coming so late. He was very polite and saying that I was okay. I always check my food before leaving the lot and everything was packaged away nicely, and all correct. 2nd time I went I ordered the pack again, immediately I presume is an overstimulated woman said that I have to order it online (I have no problem doing that) and I was about to say okay and she immediately told someone on the headset to reiterate what she just said. Like ma'am I wasn't gonna make a big deal or not believe you lol. I just said okay and they let me order it anyway. 3rd time I come in for a quick meal and I don't even open up my salad and I see a hair.. INSIDE the salad container. Mind you I have super bright RED hair, this was not mine. Best believe I drove back and went inside. I didn't even have time to say I wanted a refund, the lady at the counter assumed I wanted a new salad but after seeing that I did NOT want to eat from there. Seeing that made me lose my appetite. I assume what was the manager is either tired from the day or that's just how she is normally, wasn't too phased by seeing the hair. Wanted to update! I know this is fast food, but I wanted to give a shoutout to Calae (I think I got the spelling right, apologies if not) and Maria...two gals working in the evening. We only eat here every once in a while, but tonight there was a minor mix up with the sandwiches and I returned (which I wouldn't have, but both people refused a chicken sandwich which we accidentally got lol)...both of these ladies were extremely understanding, sweet and communicative and replaced the sandwiches within minutes. They were clearly busy and overwhelmed, but provided wonderful customer service. Service industry sucks and they handled someone rude ahead of me super gracefully and proceeded to correct my order and move efficiently. As someone that works in a similar style of customer service, they handled themselves well and the flow with all the orders was impressive. They both need a raise! This Wendy's has been here since I can remember, off of 181st n Halsey, near the I-84 intersection. It can be pretty busy around lunch and dinner time. It's just recently been remolded and looks pretty snazzy. The last few years I have lived next to this one, so it's the frequent one I stop at for our meals. Haven't been inside since the remodel, but they added a nice over-head cover where you order. They also FINALLY opened the first window (always had been closed in the past). While I love Wendy's, I do get hot food from here, and my order is *usually* correct, it's the customer service that I give the three stars on. Over the years, I have seen they have gone through different staff- I mean, I understand (been there, done that kind of job before). The order taker is usually ok- sometimes they rush you through ordering, but there was one kid at the second window who (always) had an opinion on how much food I ordered for my family. Just because it's only me, doesn't mean I am eating $30 worth of food. Also, recently, the lunch shift lead holds your food out the window when you are at the first window paying, to hurry through for their speed of service.
