Just off Jack Tone Road, this is just one of many difficult places to find in the area. It's even a little weird getting to Love's Travel Stop. Once inside, we ordered a couple of sandwiches, a taco, fries, and drinks. The manager took the order and he was very efficient about it. During our order, someone arrived at the drive-thru and he very briefly spoke to the people to ask them to wait, and took care of our order again. The food was delivered fairly quickly, and the order was correct! (I have the worst luck with Carl's Jr, including the location in Wasco that handed my whole order to the people in the drive-thru.) Everything tasted fine, but the taco fell apart before I could finish it. Why are the tacos in this area so juicy? There were a number of tables that needed attention and when I took the tray to the front of the store to dump it, they trashes were almost overflowing. read more

Rude ass old lady at this location wouldn't give us extra ranch because she "can't" even after offering to pay for it. Instead of politely saying we can't she said "nope that's all you get" and closed window rudely. I couldn't find the place because I just couldn't remember its next to Chevron. The service is excellent and the food is good. This business has been here for years but I never went in because by looking at the parking lot the place looked busy. I am glad I stopped. By the way the Hardee biscuits are good. Honestly I eat out way to much for my own good, but the busy life I have means a lot of fast food , it's very rare to come to one that the employees didn't seem miserable , that they seemed to enjoy their job, that there was someone outside cleaning on downtime and not just inside BSing , they answered the speaker right away , made my order actually right and not sloppy at all. The drive thru was the manager and he was very nice and had excellent customer service , my food was made fast and hot and hit the spot on my 30 min lunch. We had been noticing billboards all day for the Monster Burger. We saw there was one Ripon and decided to stop there, get the Monster and use the restrooms. Much to our surprise, the counter was open to order, but the restrooms were closed. We could of went to the drive thru if we knew this was the case. We went through the drive thru at 10:45 at night! We ordered 3 items specifically asking for no onions and pickles and no cheese on one burger. Additionally, we ordered Zucchini extra crispy. All three items were made wrong, the phone number to call is a fax number. This type of service is not acceptable. The screen when ordering showed the correct orders that were to be made. Well, I saw the recent advertisement for the Memphis Thick BBQ burger and thought I'd give it a try...VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! This burger is just an oversized Western Bacon burger along with a RIDICULOUS price! They slather it with their regular BBQ sauce to make it a BBQ burger, not much else to say about it. I got the burger and a large drink and the total was a little over $15...last time I give Carl's a chance. The guy that waited on me was great and the team seemed to be better than previous trips to this location. There are FAR BETTER choices to be had for FAR BETTER food! Right across the street is Arby's (they are my go to most of the time) and their prices are FAR BETTER than Carl's, and their people are far above and beyond what Carl's employs. read more

This place is a little hard to get to. Next to a Starbucks but both are pretty hidden in plain view. Once inside, I went for the Monster Biscuit which is one of my favorite road breakfast treats in the South at Carl's Jr alter ego, Hardee's. Something about California doesn't translate quite as well on the biscuits. Don't know whether it's the climate or they change the recipe but biscuits were not as outstanding as generally acknowledged by everyone back home as the best among all fast food chains. Because I am a fan of Carls Jr I keep trying the Ripon location..despite poor food quality and slow service. Last night i was AGAIN disappointed..the chicken tenders were dark dark brown almost black..again..the chicken on the club and the Sante Fe chicken were dried out and barely edible. Just passing through and decided to stop for a quick burger. Ended up getting the big carl combo and 2 regular hamburgers. I specifically requested no sauce and no cheese on the Carl and she repeated my request. Got my order and drove off. Picked up my large dr. pepper and took a swig, it was coke. Of course there is sauce and cheese on my damn burger so I wrapped it on and put it back in the bag, it was now garbage. I figured the other two burgers are probably correct so I opened on and noticed no onions. Got to the second one and noticed no pickles. I cannot believe that out of 4 things I ordered, they got zero things correct. And these are the morons that want $15 an hour for a job they do incorrectly as a career. Just recently went to this Carls for the first time ordered myself a couple Western Bacon's waited a pretty long time for only 1 car ahead that only ordered one thing. I get my food as soon as I get to the window awesome. I pay I leave start In on my sandwich and little to no BBQ sauce and bacon was burnt to the crisp. Second one was good though lol not a problem. I ordered the Super Star Combo meal. Cost me $10! The drive thru cashier tried to upcharge my meal to a medium without asking me. Luckily I noticed. Customer service was good though. My cheeseburger did not taste that great. It was poorly put together and the cheese was not melted. Fries were though. Hot and fresh. I think this is the last time i come to Carls Jr. Fast food burger, fries, and a drink should not cost you $10. Especially when the quality isnt there.
