I come to this place twice a week for my salad, and usually my salad/sandwich combo. usually service is decent, I order online every time, when I pick up my order, I ask if they can swap the ranch dressing for ceasar bc it does not give me the option to do it when I order the sandwich salad combo. Usually never have an issue. And I ask if I can get a tiny bit of bbq sauce for my sandwich. Well, today I was told I had to pay for that separately. I said ok, usually I don't get charged & today it's something new to me. She replied that they had always charged, I said ok, first time for me. Usually I don't carry cash at all, well today was the DAY I HAD to PAY, so lucky for me I had a $100 bill on me that I handed over to pay $.65 cents for the bbq sauce, bc if I didn't had it. I would probably not get the bbq sauce. I don't care about the $.65 cents, but if I didn't have the cash, no bbq sauce for me? That's crazy. Btw I only asked to swap the dressing I hadn't touched yet bc I asked when she had the box/bag on her hands... it's like like I walked over to the table and came back. What really bother me? That usually every other time they mess up my order and I never complained, I just let them know. I ordered the garden salad with chicken, & Caesar dressing , but I got the ceasar salad instead, not what I ordered but it's ok, I know they're busy and I get it. I'll eat it bc most likely will end up in the trash. As a regular 2-3 times away lunch here bc is close to work, is my last time here. The time it took to get our food was obnoxiously slow. All we ordered was two sundays and one order of onion rings, and we were waiting in the drive through for at least thirty minutes. We also asked for a vanilla sunday, and she said they only had chocolate or strawberry. We were talking about the ice cream flavor when she gave us the chocolate sundays. Great burgers, but cleanliness needs work Came in craving a burger and The Habit usually delivers. My husband and I got the Teriyaki Charburgers with half fries/half onion rings and drinks. Heads up they now charge 69¢ per sauce. The burgers were so good savory teriyaki, sweet pineapple, creamy cheese... amazing flavor combo. I added banana peppers and tried the chili pepper dip sauce both solid. Fries were meh (cold and not fresh), but the onion rings were hot, crispy, and full oniony Soda selection was decent Pepsi products, no root beer. Downside? Cleanliness. Tables were dirty (we had to wipe ours down), crumbs on the floor, and the women's restroom had no paper towels. Someone was cleaning when I walked in, but they did not refill the dispenser. Food at this hit was cooked to perfection! The line took a little longer than normal but that was fine as the food made up for it. The double char is definitely the move when it comes to habit burger. I do feel the pricing is getting more and more expensive and having to pay 60 cents extra for sauce seems odd when spending $20 plus on a meal. Is it just me or the burgers are smaller than long ago? I used to be able to eat half and the other half later. Now they seem smaller and half is a child size only. We were recently craving a good burger and decided to stop by The Habit, a spot we've been to a few times before. This time, we both got the Teriyaki Charburger, and shared a half & half of fries and onion rings, along with some sodas. The burgers were fresh, juicy, and full of flavor definitely hit the spot. The onion rings were hot and crispy, but the fries were just okay they tasted a bit off due to the temperature and didn't seem as fresh. The service was decent at the register; the staff was friendly while taking our order. However, when our buzzer went off and we went to pick up the food, the employee at the counter wasn't really paying attention and didn't confirm which order was ready. It wasn't even busy there were fewer customers. The dining area could've used more attention. Some tables and seats still had crumbs, and we had to wipe down our own table with napkins. Also, the restroom was out of paper towels, and the trash bin was full. One last note they now charge 60 cents per sauce, which used to be free. Not a huge deal, but definitely something to be aware of. This visit it was French Fries and the kids meal cup. I asked about the cup and they said "Sorry we always forget that".. Really?? I didn't have time to check the bag and of course the French Fries were forgotten. This was a $76 order but even a $15 order should not have missing items. I sent a complaint to corporate this time because this continues to be a problem at this location. I used to love this place but they have lost my business. They decided to replace the Impossible burger with a veggie burger on a dry wheat bun. This burger is DISGUSTING. It tastes like cardboard. I can also get sweet potato fries, onion rings, etc... if I so choose. People might say that with so many options offered that the quality goes down, but in this case, it's simply not true. I ordered curbside and scheduled pick up at 9:30. I arrived and attempted to check in through the confirmation email. The app was down, so finally got a text for check-in. I was able to check in on my second attempt. Waited an additional 20 minutes and no one came out to the car. At 9:55pm after no one even bothered to check, though they saw me sitting in Curbside pick-up for over 30 minutes, i walked into the store and was welcomed by a Doordash driver, while the Manager, making eye contact with me on several occassions ignored me. I advised her I was waiting for an order for over 20 minutes and she proceeded to inform me it was my fault and there was nithing she could do and gave me my ice cold food and insisted on tellling me it wasnt their fault and I shoukd have a good evening. What a great deal! Tried the new Gotta have it meal deals, $10 and $8 meal was perfect. It's about time the fast food restaurants offer inexpensive meals with a good enough portion. Now that we are senior citizens we can't finish a regular meal, it's too much. For less than $20 we ate good. $10 meal, 1/2 Santa Barbara char, salad, drink and chicken nuggets and a $8 meal 1/2 chicken club, green beans and a drink, perfect. I hope they continue this offer on the regular menu. I love the char flavor on the sandwiches. We enjoyed the avocado wedges but now not offered, bummer, Please bring them back. Seems to be a problem with them serving cold food... we showed up prior to our pickup time and our food was cold. They got the stuff wrong on our burgers and overall it was just gross and cold. The ranch dressing tasted sour and maybe even old... food was not fresh. Please take pride in what you're serving people that work hard for their money... read more

They need to improve online ordering and getting food out hot and fresh, besides stashing orders under the counter and waiting an extended period of time to recall orders if you missed it, or you have to wait to get the attention of a worker to verify if your order is ready because they are not sending out notifications via text that the order is in fact ready for pick-up. Also, customer engagement needs to be improved. I watched the person packing orders around 5:15 p.m. greet multiple people picking up orders warmly but only called my name and handed me mine. I ordered a curbside pick up at 11:30 to be picked up at 11:40. upon arrival( i arrived exactly on time) i checked in and waited. i was watching from my parked spot as what looked like the manager going back and forth walking around, it looked like they had no customers at the time. i didn't receive my food for another 5 minutes. instead of the manager bringing my food out to me, they waited till a cashier came got my food and handed it to me. by the time i received my food it was already somewhat cold. meaning that this manager waited for a cashier to bring it to me instead of brining it out themselves. i've worked for a habit in the past, if the curbside is there and ready the least you can do is bring it out even if you're not the cashier and you're the manager. read more
