What is not to love about this place? The food is made fresh, made to order, the people that work there are always so friendly.. you can't beat the price! I love to order mine with extra tomato! I like that you can custom things like the fries the burgers Etc. Their menu is simple but they do it right. I've never had a bad meal here. There's a reason they're the best they just operate differently.

I'm honestly not sure what all the hype is about or why every time I drive by one of these places it's so busy. Their menu is way too simplistic. Their burgers were just ok. Should be cheaper for what you get. The employees were nice though and considering how big our order was it was fairly quickly to get it. I wouldn't need to come back to one.

Very underwhelming tbh. I came in with a good attitude and the atmosphere was off to a great start. The staff was amazing and helped with any confusions within my order. I ended up ordering the double burger with no tomato and fries with a drink. Tbh that shit tasted like a Big Mac and the fries was aight. No hate fr but I would rather eat steak and shake because that shi slaps 100% of the time. But in and out is alright but I was just underwhelmed with my expectations of it being a great western delicacy but it was no better than your local McDonald's that has 3 felones cooking up your burger.

Very good food drinks are nice and refreshing. This place is really good. It's just the fries are very dry. Burgers is insane. Have nothing else to say about this place.

Went there after hearing all the hype. It is just like any other fast food- maybe a little better. 3 stars are for very friendly and efficient service. It is fresher and better in some ways then mcdonalds or burger king- Great for road trips though!

Who doesn't love a good in & out burger. This place never disappoints. The staff is always great, the burgers are always fresh. Our usual order consists of 2 double doubles. One with light spread since I like to taste the patty more than anything. It's been my favorite way to get it and it's always A+. Will always make my way back.

The place still hits the appetite well! Honestly, I have not had In-N-Out in a few years, but nice to know it has not changed. EXCEPT FOR THE PRICE! The prices on their menu have all gone up since the last few years I've been, but I guess that is just how it is everywhere in this world am I right? I normally go to the location on Pelandale, but decided to come here at 12:30AM on a weekend. The wait in the drive-thru was not bad at all. I pulled up, had a worker take my order and I was out with my food in 15 minutes. My usual order is a double-double ($4.75), well-done fries ($2.05), and a large Neapolitan milkshake ($3.50). A perfect meal that provides a great dining experience whether it is in the restaurant, in your car, or in the comfort of your own home. The burgers are always constructed with high-quality ingredients and cook great with juice still running inside. I wish they include more lettuce, but what's nice about this franchise is everything is customizable. You can ask them to prepare or add on whatever you like and they will happily oblige! The service is always quick and friendly. I've personally never had an order mess up on me, so that is saying something.

It's the same menu. The food was good. It was just a slower moving drive thru than most. Other than that it was a good experience. My go to is the Flying Dutchman.

Had an overnight work trip that had me in Modesto so I was trying to find something fun to eat…read more After a bit of research I found this place. I showed up around 7pm and I thought it might have been closed because no one was here. But they were open. I ordered a Bauer burger with the house seasoned fries. They asked how I'd like the egg cooked and the burger cooked: I asked for medium for both. Given how dead the place was, it did take a minute to get my food. The burger was ok, not worth $21. The bun fell apart very quickly which is a bit of a cardinal sin in the burger game. The bacon on the burger was not bacon strips but a bit of bacon crumble. The patty was a bit overcooked so it was dry and it wasn't seasoned so it was bland. The egg was cooked perfectly, but the aioli and the egg yolk with a disintegrated bun made for a huge mess. The fries were interesting. The house seasoned fries are not salted. So the fries were almost sweet due to the spices, but no salt. And they do not have regular table ketchup or malt vinegar. I did ask for some ketchup and they brought me their house ketchup. While not like a classic ketchup, it was actually quite good. Oh, be aware. They will charge you a 4% fee when they bring you the check (what would have happened if I'd paid with cash?). I do not see anywhere on the menu where they say their is a payment fee so that is a pretty shady business practice. Overall: meh. I think for the price point the burger should have been great, but sadly I can't say it was great or even good. I'd likely not return.

The seasoning on the fries and the Mac and cheese was also unique and kind of sweet.

Here, you order your food, grab a number, and find your own seat for the food to be brought out to you. We sat at a table outside to decide what to order. There were no menus available so we just had to search for it online before heading inside to order. Despite being third in line from the register, we had an extremely long wait to order. There was only one person running the register who also had to make the drinks, meaning the service incredibly slow. We wanted to order the five taco platter, garlic fries, chicken Caesar salad, and mimosa pitcher. Sadly, we were only able to get the pitcher and salad. The cashier told us "sorry, we aren't doing fries right now." Not doing fries? Every plate in the vicinity had fries on them. She said that because it was brunch hour, only food on the brunch menu could be ordered. We looked at the brunch menu again and literally saw garlic fries as an option as a side for the burgers/sandwiches. No where did it specify that you can't order off the other menu and both were available online. What bothered us about this is that we placed this order at around 1:50pm, and brunch ended at 2:00pm. I understand that we are not entitled to things on the lunch menu during brunch-time for items like the tacos, but considering the menu swap was less than 10 minutes away and they were quite literally were "doing fries" at the time, it didn't make much sense to us. The only food that we ended up ordering was the Chicken Caesar Salad. This one dish took a super long time to receive. By the time it was brought out, the three of us nearly finished the Mimosa pitcher. The waitress noticed we had no silverware and said she would go grab us some. Because of how the service had been going thus far, we placed a bet on whether or not the waitress would come back with the silverware. Surprise, surprise. She didn't. We had to go inside later and search for silverware ourselves. We weren't even able to get sharing plates which was upsetting since the waitress asked us if we would be sharing the salad. The salad itself looked delicious, but was bland. The dressing was missing that zing and zest that a Caesar dressing typically has. I do appreciate that is was a chopped salad, had avocado, and seasoned croutons. It is just unfortunate that it was lacking any flavor at all. The food prices are quite affordable for the quantity of food you receive though. This experience was disappointing because I was so optimistic about the place. The menu looked good, it had fun and casual vibes and a cool crowd of people. If Commonwealth worked towards better service practices, it would have been a more positive experience.

My partner was the one who went in person to order and pick up the food; he had nothing but positive things to stay about the experience and the service! We decided on the Bro Burger, the Atomic Burger, and the loaded fries Overall, I was really pleased! The lacy, crispy edges of the burger are HEAVEN and the fact that you can pick up and put down the burger and it still holds it's shape?! Fantastic! It's not nearly as messy as my usual spot. Everything is reasonably priced, and a good value for what you receive. I wish the burgers were a tad bigger because I feel like two to myself would really slay my hunger. My only gripe is that they use crinkle fries for their French fries, which we all know is not a top-tier example of the capabilities of a potato BUT they were exceptionally cooked and held up against the sauces and condiments of the loaded fries. But still. Crinkle fries Booooooo. I'm definitely coming back though. In fact, two Bro Burgers sound perfect right about now...
