Well here is the home of the Famous Star Burger and I came here to get one of there other famous burgers which is called the Western Bacon Cheese Burger and this location is located on the corner of the Clairemont Village Shopping Center and The parking is ok here plenty of parking and there are places to sit inside also plus there is an drive through also !! But here the service is so so !! As for how clean it is here it is ok and it is your normal Carl's Jr. But I do like there Crisscut Fries and there Fried Zucchini !! We had to repeat the order more than 4 times because she insisted on talking over us while we were ordering instead of just listening. I'm not one to get irritated easily, but that was annoying. Then when we get to the 2nd window, she doesn't even repeat our order to see if she got it right, which she didn't, we were missing a medium fry. When we told her we ordered 2 medium fries, she rolled her eyes and took the card back and said "that'll be $2.79" and charged the card without asking. It's fun to eat the calorie count is like lottery winning numbers. Yes you will pass out if you get the full big pork rib burger it comes in 3 sizes. I had an initial bad experience going through the Drive thru. However, an employee who's name is Jasmin turned it around and made my date night perfect by redoing my order for my wife and I. She did not throw her teammates(new person(s) under the bus and kept a positive attitude despite facing a tough Friday night crowd. Her professionalism is a credit to this store and great reflection of her leadership. She didn't look back and stayed focused on the positive. Our order was perfect as we ate it on top of Mt. I am disappointed to see that this Carl's Jr. will not be getting another return for me the near future. I am very disappointed with how poorly trained staff members are. I don't want to ever come back here ever again because of the way they took my order down and then proceeded to give me the wrong burger. After asking for a refund, because I didn't want to sit in the dirty tables, they refused to refund me and didn't even want to give me the correct order that I ordered. We drive through for lunch every so often. It's common to order a drink and not be given a straw. They never ever ask if we want ketchup and never put even one packet in the bag. Make sure if what you ordered calls for a straw, spoon/fork, condiments and more than 1 napkin - you've got to speak up. It's sucks to want to drive thru real quick and then after you pull out of the lane have to park to go inside to get what you need. Only pros are they aren't busy even at lunch time (maybe that's actually a bad thing?) and the ladies are pretty nice that work there. Why Carl's Jr.? Why do you exist? Has anyone ever had a good experience at a Carl's Jr.? The only reason I ever go (which is rarely ever) is because this is the closest fast food joint to my house. I don't really do fast food often but when I do, I prefer In n Out, Shack Shack or Chick fil A. The few times I do go to Carl's Jr. it's to get the salad with grilled chicken to take to work for dinner - it's not a bad salad and it's fairly cheap. However today I wanted a burger before I went to work and decided to get the 1/3 lb. thickbuger, hold the cheese. Not only did my burger have the cheese on it but it looked as if it had been slapped together with rage and anger. There was no skill or ability whatsoever put into the assembly of this burger. Talk about a big ol mess. Once I scraped off the cheese and about a quart of mustard and ketchup and reassembled the whole dang burger, it was alright. TIME I have come here the staff is extremely rude. I have only interacted with the female staff through the drive thru and no matter how polite I am I ALWAYS receive an unnecessary rude attitude. Every time, literally EVERY TIME I come into this place, there are homeless people in different booths. Sometimes they're yelling, sometimes they smell. It makes it uncomfortable in the dining room. The other day, before our Fantasy Football draft, my friend said before we walked in, "If I see one homeless person, we're out of there, and we'll go to Tio Leo's to eat." We saw two, and he said, "I just can't eat here. With that hepatitis and stuff I'm hearing about, I just don't feel comfortable eating at this place."
