They picked up my two screen doors and on the estimated proposal they suggested cutting down the screens just ever so slightly I inquired and agreed with their explanation. When the screens were brought back to my house with a new screaming, the screen doors would not slide. The installer was going to leave the doors not sliding. Before they remove them to rescreen, they worked properly Then he accused me of not wanting the doors cut down and I corrected him that I was only inquiring what they were gonna do to the doors when I received the proposal, I never said not to do what they suggested on the propos . He took the two doors back to Store and I went to look at my ring camera after he left, and I heard him yell yelling talking to himself and he called me a bitch. I contacted the store and asked to speak to the manager and the gentleman who answered the phone said well you can only talk to me. He said I'm the only one here. I asked again to speak to the manager. I got the same reply I asked a third time to speak with the manager and he said well I'm the owner. Why did he just not identify himself as the owner to begin with? What's up with ? I explained what happened when they came out to reinstall the fixed doors and they would not work and I also described what I saw on my ring camera of him calling me a bitch. The owner stated "Oh Gerry would never call a customer a name ". Really it's on my ring camera. ? They ended up replacing the rollers on the door and that was an additional $68. I told him I did not want Gerry coming back out to install the doors. Another gentleman brought them out to install, he had a Carlson truck, but no supplies like a screwdriver and WD-40 that he asked to borrow from me. I also noticed that there were scratches on the aluminum part of the screen doors that weren't there when they originally took them, but I didn't wanna deal with Carlson anymore so I spent the money purchasing spray paint to cover the scratches they made on the the metal frame. I would not recommend this business to anyone! They don't want to take any accountability for the work they say they're going to do. They don't have their own supplies. You will be probably called some nasty name. Check your ring camera. And what kind of owner does not want to identify himself as the owner when you ask to speak with a manager? read more

The first attempt to fix a broken window resulted in another broken window. Second attempt the window was re-installed incorrectly and internal parts were damaged. The window has finally be re-installed with missing parts and now no response in communications from management or owners. read more

Received a quote from Carlson Glass and a competitor. Carlson wrote the quote with low-E glass, while the competitor did not. Huge difference. live in a townhome so everyone's windows need to match. Once I agreed to the work it took approximately 3 weeks for the glass to arrive. They do excellent work and stand behind their service. Josh is an asset to the company. All the people at Carlson are superior. I recommend them without reservation. read more

I ordered a glass table top and was very satisfied. The staff is friendly and professional.

We placed our order for a glass table top on 4/22, and dropped off a template we made per Carlson's directions. The kitchen table is 36 1/4 inches by 58 1/2 inches with 4 rounded corners (2 inch radius), and had been recently refinished. We had some issue making the template because the paper was not big enough, so we had to cut and retape it to get the right width. We asked for 38 inches by 62 inches, but got a piece 36 inches by 60 inches. We were told to expect the top in 10 to 14 days, but in reality it took over 4 weeks. We called twice and were told it would be ready in a few days each time. We picked up the top on 5/26, and when we placed it on the table, it was not long enough, and two of the corners were not cut properly. We phoned Carlson, and they said they would redo the top. It turns out they can actually do the template for $35 (we talked to them twice before we ordered, and this was never told to us). So we opted for that (plus they would discount their delivery charge and do both for $40) and one of their staff came out on June 1st and made a new template. We were told the new top would be expedited and only take a few days, but the new top was delivered on 6/21. Unfortunately one of the corners was still off considerably. At this point, Carlson said they could not remake the top correctly unless they had the table top in their shop. In the end, they refunded the $40 charge for the template making/delivery and left the second top with us. read more

If I could rate zero stars for this place I would. I called to get a price- I was asked the dimensions of the table and the diameter of the glass needed. About a week later I called again prior to taking the table ALL THE WAY THERE. I was given the same price again. I let them know I was on my way and they said it was no problem. TALK ABOUT A SCAM- as soon as I got there, I brought the table in and was ready to prepay for the work- only to be told DOUBLE THE PRICE! When I questioned why- I was made out to be a liar and told that if I can't afford it to leave. I asked to speak to the manager so that I could explain that twice I called and was given the same price and that now I'm here I'm being told different. The rude woman I was speaking to then announces she's the manager. The level of rudeness and disrespect this manager had was beyond belief. I would have paid the amount no problem however her tone and demeanor basically implying I'm to poor to afford it and her lack of recognition that her staff may have misquoted me is unacceptable. This place quotes you just to get oh in the door and then hits you with fees. read more

Started off setting the appointment with someone on phone who had attitude. The estimator was very good and helpful. I received a quote in email a few days later for repairing my windows. I then asked to see a quote for full replacement of all windows, they sent a quote with two windows missing. I followed up a couple times and tried to clarify, but they seemed very confused for some reason and never sent me the full quote. Going somewhere else. read more

I've used this company in the past, but this time for what I was told was a very difficult repair. I had two full glass insulated doors where the seal of the glass had failed. To complicate the repair, the glass had divider grills on both sides that had to be salvaged and reapplied. The door supplier told me that was impossible. Carlson said that they could do it. They did both doors with no drama or excuses---PERFECT! These guys are real pros. If you have a glass issue, call these guys. read more

In May I had a patio door that shattered. Carlson Glass had previously replaced glass for me and I was pleased with the result so I contacted them again. Brian, Sales, was excellent to work with and Josh, intaller, was so efficient, professional, and conscientious. When he left, you would never know the glass was replaced.
