We had an large shower door (3 panels) installed by Bolingbrook Glass and Mirror. First we had to chase them around for weeks. After paying a deposit for half the amount and not getting a call from them to schedule installation as promised. We called a few times to ask about installation and they didn't return calls, even after someone there (Brian, iirc) who answered the phone said they have all the parts in stock. Once they finally installed the glass they did a sloppy job. There were chunks of caulk on the glass, the installers chipped the bathtub near the side of the shower, and the sweep on the bottom of the door does not even touch the bottom so water is coming out. I cannot recommend Bolingbrook Glass & Mirror. read more

Bolingbrook Glass has been cutting glass shelves for us for years. They take my order over the phone, advise me if I'm about to make a big mistake (i.e. 56" long but only 1/4" thick), and call me when my shelves are ready. They have also done specialty work for me, like cutting down the rims on purchased glasses. Their turnaround is usually faster than their estimate and their prices are reasonable. read more

stopped in to get someone to come out to look at my shower door, repair guy came out checked out the door, he ordered the parts. 2 weeks later the repair guys showed up replaced all the trim, hinges, aligned the door, works like brand new again! they did and awesome job and would recommend Bolingbrook glass to any one that needs repair and good service ! thanks again, steve k read more

I called their office on 3.28.18 to have someone come out and quote a glass shower panel. I wanted someone out the following day and the guy that answered the phone said no problem; the person that schedules estimates would call me back that day to give me a time. No one ever called me back until several days later. Then on Monday 4.2.18, their guys show up to measure. Because of their lack of customer service, I would not consider Bolingbrook Glass to complete my project. On 3.27.18 I had a company come out the following day, showed up on time, measured the project and forwarded me a quote within the hour. Those are the guys I gave my business to. read more

Called on a Tuesday to order a 54 x 54 piece of glass to go over kitchen table received a call saying it would be ready Friday.We went to pick up this large piece of glass and they cut up scrap wood to help stabilize the glass on the piece of wood we had in truck. Bolingbrook glass to the rescue I had broken a side window on my motor home. I had contacted Bolingbrook glass and Tim from Bolingbrook glass came to my home and took measurement of the window The next day I was contacted by Tim and told the me the correct glass would have to be ordered. I stated I was going on a road trip Tim said he could install a temporary glass until the correct one came in, 3 week later the correct glass was installed. It is perfect! I contacted multiple glass contractors to install a back painted, glass back splash in our new kitchen. Two companies did a site inspection and provided color samples using the paint we wanted with two different types of glass. We chose Bolingbrook Glass because their samples were made to a higher quality. The paint seemed to be applied in a more think and uniform manner than the sample by the other company. The back splash took three weeks to make in their shop. The installation came in 6 pieces. Although there was a problem with the measurements on two pieces, they went back to the shop, corrected the problem and finished the installation the next week. The price was fair, the installation took place in the time quoted and the end product looks outstanding. I would recommend Bolingbrook Glass. read more

Had two bad experiences with this company. First was a botched steam shower door installation where they installed the wrong sized door to which they "made it right" by installing a permanent transom above. Despite that I decided to try them again since they're in Bolingbrook just like me; bad move again by me because this time time they totally forgot about me after taking my deposit. Only after getting my deposit back via American Express did I get may phone calls returned, but it was too late. Maybe you'll have better luck with them than I did. Good luck. read more

I have been a customer of Bolingbrook Glass since I bought my new home almost a year and a half ago. I am incredibly happy with their service. I have used them for the glass table tops in my home and also for solving the water leak due to my shower door malfunctioning. In both situations they have always provided me with prompt responses via email or phone, have always tried their best to get to me as soon as possible, but most importantly have ALWAYS given professional and efficient service. Ive used them twice- Great job everytime! Very satisfied!

I called for a repair and was told they were busy. I was not given an appointment. Late that week an installer called to see if he could come that day. I had 2 other appointments but gave them a few hours I could be home. I waited, put off my errands, nothing. No calls, no one showed up. I called the next week for an appointment Again. Vicki told me they are busy, I should call again on Monday. At this point I did not bother. I was home late that week, just on my way out, and the installers just show up in the driveway! I asked if they knew how to make an appointment. They thought I had one. No one ever called. The repair was done, I was just "lucky" I was home I guess. I let the day go by without calling to pay. Vicki called Saturday looking for payment. I said I let it go so that she could experience some of my frustration over getting an appointment. Her reply was, I told you we were busy, I'm sorry if the installer did not call, he was supposed to. If he had called, so what? I had no opportunity to plan or prepare for the work. If you want to have an "appointment" so that you can be organized and plan your time, good luck. read more
