I've used Carlson Heating & Cooling twice and have been very satisfied both times. In 2024, I had them inspect my furnace and AC. They arrived on time, were professional, and gave my system a clean bill of health--without recommending any unnecessary repairs. Last week, when my AC stopped working, they quickly diagnosed a dead compressor and recommended a replacement. Impressively, they waived the $225 charge for the initial visit and parts. The replacement was completed on schedule, exactly within the estimated cost. The technicians were friendly, informative, and professional throughout the process. Mike was just awesome!! I will be calling him again for my cleaning in the spring. His prices are fair. He came over to fix a problem with my furnace. We thought we had fixed it. I needed to call him back and he came back to fix it after his day was over. A part needed to be replaced. He used the service charge towards the price of the part. His work is really quality. I called Carlson and they were able to schedule my immediate appointment request. Carlson came over and after trying to save the air conditioner by replacing a part, the unit was pronounced dead. He called for the replacement cost and I asked for pricing on one size bigger, after we decided we need a larger unit, he order the replacement air conditioner for next day installation. He arrived exactly on-time for the appointment and increased the air conditioner capacity to fit the actual size. The appointment was finished under the estimated time and they were very courteous through the entire experience. While replacing the air coil, Mike showed me the location for the furnace and humidifier filter allowing me to change it myself. After replacing the air conditioner and removing the old one - he made sure that I had the information needed and made sure that if we had any questions to call his office. Great service and great/honest serviceman. I'll not call anyone else for future HVAC matters and wouldn't hesitate to only shop here when it comes time for me to replace other units. We can't begin to say enough about Mike and his "AWESOME TEAM" of workers. We called and he responded in less then 1 hour and set a time to come out. We only needed AC but decided to go ahead due to the age of the furnace and great price given to upgrade and install a whole new system.Mike was very informative and answered all our questions and we decided to "get er done". We received a call later that afternoon that Mike had taken a fall and twisted up his ankle pretty good so we had to do a bit of rescheduling and postpone possibly a couple weeks which was fine by us. We got another call several days later saying he had additional help and would be out the following Wednesday. Mike went over and above and came here with a support brace on and a bad limp due to his injury as well as the pain I'm sure he was experiencing and went up and down our basement stairs 2 days in a row to insure he gave us what he had promised us the customer. What a incredible guy he committed himself to what he promised and in the end delivered and oh what a superb job they ALL did assisting Mike.The outcome was awesome an incredible job completed in less then 8 hours with the cost being 100% of what was quoted and 2 very pleased happy customers. Their work was quite impeccable from beginning to end and we look forward to calling or recommending CARLSON HEATING and COOLING to all our family,friends and co-workers.
