I got to the mall for a release of a sought after item at 9:00 a.m. store was to open at 10:00 a.m. this store has two doors. What this store also has is no education handling crowd central. They allowed people in the twenties to wait inside (most logical) and then we found out there was an even longer line outside. When we tried to tell the store this a woman who is usually mean on a good day scoffed at us and only yelled though the door that she would be opening both doors at once (a safety issue) this woman is a middle aged woman with her hair up and I think it was green. She has never been kind. Today was worse. She made it her goal to let the other people in first even though we did the right thing by standing outside the store in the mall. There was a two limit per person (a joke) as people in line were calling the other outside line as families were manning both lines with multiple people per family to buy two per everyone in their party. So most families passed the "system" and worked both lines. What's the worst part of all of this? The owner Jenna was there during all of this. It could have been civilized. It could have been organized. A number per person. Staff calming people down. Not having three and under children working when you have two lines to get through. I can't recommend this store any longer. Nothing about today showed that they cared about fairness. And for the horrible employee with the green bun, you work in a toy store have some compassion towards others. You are always angry and awful to approach and you are the last reason this store lost a customer today. You are simply cruel in an unusual way.

I've come here a few times to get a gift or two for either one of my cousins or a friends kid…read more They have plenty of toys and items to choose from like board games, plushies, puzzles, small sports sets and many more. They're even many educational flash cards and books for children. I was even able to pick up an adult coloring book for myself. Regardless of whatever you buy they'll wrap your purchased items which is great because I can't wrap a gift to save my life. The service is very friendly and the overall atmosphere is nice. It's great to still see some toy stores around, especially since nowadays you can simply buy toys online on Amazon or other retailers. However If you're looking for some fun toys or gifts for any kids I think it's worth stopping by.

The product selection is solid, especially for a relatively new shop, and has regularly expanded in the time I've been a customer. Something I value in particular is their pricing, as I have yet to see anything marked up much more than MP/MSRP. They put the customer above profit margins and don't participate in price-hiking based on scarcity/hype surrounding new products and in extreme cases will impose purchase limits on very limited product releases to ensure as many of their customers as possible can get their hands on a piece. They're truly advocates of the hobbyists and do their part not to enable the product scalping and gatekeeping, inarguably the biggest detriment to collectible hobbies. I can't say enough good about this place, if you're into TCGs, sports cards, tabletop gaming, etc. and want a great customer experience, pop into BLK MKT Cards and I'm sure you'll become a regular too.

It is literally here is a binder how much. Then they take every single card out so you stand there putting everything back like you are the problem. They offered me one dollar for full arts. I had about one hundred forty of them. I asked for one fifty which was more than fair since two of the cards alone were worth over one hundred twenty. The response I got was just why. They also own the shop in Clawson which somehow has even less inventory and even worse customer service. I watched a customer bring in a binder with vintage cards and other great stuff. The owner offered fifty dollars. It was a joke. I said I would at least look at it and he told me not in his store. I said fine I can look outside. He said no again. When I said that I just do not want to see them rip off nice people the way they tried to rip me off at the other shop he told me to get out and took back the one hundred fifty plus cards I was about to buy. If you go here only buy sealed and do not let them hassle you. They know when someone is strapped and they try to take advantage. I would never come back after how I was treated. If anyone else has had a similar experience please share it so people know what to expect before they walk in.

At any given point, there will be people at the tables in the middle of the store (spanning from the front to the back) gathering together to play various different card games, board games, or some proper Dungeons and Dragons! The very front of the store houses their clearance section and then as you go back, you'll hit their sports cards and memorabilia section, but in the proper back of the store is where the FUN is with Pokemon cards, DND merch, and so much more to be checking out! The owner and workers here are so friendly and they know their regulars well and strike up friendly, helpful conversation with all customers! You truly feel welcome here and there's nothing I love more than connecting with other people over the same passions and geeking out together! An absolutely delightful spot that I want to be around forever and ever in this quaint, local downtown area!
