I first called to locate the store (Google Maps' address doesn't take you to the storefront, just the crossroads) and the man who answered was so bubbly, I thought it was an automated message. I eventually found it (near Famous Daves) and met the man behind the voice. He is SO friendly and helpful. I didn't find what I needed, but damn did the man try to help me find it. He gave me the names of a few other possible stores (I was looking for polyhedral dice) and showed me their catalogue. If you ever want something from their site, just call in and ask them to order it- you pay no shipping! The store has an impressive stock and apparently holds tournaments very frequently!

Not so here. The manager of this store is very knowledgeable of the product lines and goes above and beyond to help you find what you are looking for. He is very passionate and willing to offer advice when it comes to gaming strategies, and painting advice (literally this guy goes above and beyond). While the store is small, it has a great atmosphere. Many people in the store are regulars and are very welcoming. Games are constantly running so it offers many opportunities for you to watch games unfold and even pit your armies against other players. Store stock is consistent and Games Workshop offers free shipping if you order something online and have it shipped to the store.

The product selection is solid, especially for a relatively new shop, and has regularly expanded in the time I've been a customer. Something I value in particular is their pricing, as I have yet to see anything marked up much more than MP/MSRP. They put the customer above profit margins and don't participate in price-hiking based on scarcity/hype surrounding new products and in extreme cases will impose purchase limits on very limited product releases to ensure as many of their customers as possible can get their hands on a piece. They're truly advocates of the hobbyists and do their part not to enable the product scalping and gatekeeping, inarguably the biggest detriment to collectible hobbies. All of the possible classes are listed in their website. I would be hard to pick a favorite class. Each of the classes is taught by a different artist or expert in that class. There are 2 different areas where the classes are taught one in the back and one in the middle section. The ability to walk out with a project that you learned how to make is priceless. I highly recommend going to a class at My New Favorite Thing or just going shopping. I check online it says it is 16 cents for a 4x6 photo, yet I paid 4$ PER photo, they say it is correct and to this moment I do not understand. CVS has 16 cent prices and so does anywhere else. Maybe they added a coach purse on my bill by accident i'm not sure. Overall, terrible experience; could I have prevented it, maybe. They paid me spot and the experience was great…read more They paid us spot for our metals, and gave us a great deal on the diamond and gold rings we had. I had a diamond encrusted diving watch that they couldnt take (it's scratched to heck and not worth what I paid now, not their fault, I wore it constantly). They were able to do the complicated resizing for FREE! It fits again so I just have to send it out for a battery replacement. We took my 6 year old son there and while they were resizing my watch he asked if they had any square coins. One of the gentlemen went into the back and came out with three coins from Aruba. When I asked how much he told me they were FREE since they were for a young numismatic collector. My son has autism and this meant the world to him!!! I will definitely be returning to sell more metal! They treated us like family. I wish more local coin shops were like this.
