    GREAT buying experience! Jorge was incredible and the whole process took about an hour, I test drove the car at 2:30 and was done with paperwork by 3:40! Easy, no nonsense, awesome! I knew which vehicle I wanted and handled it swiftly. I've purchased from a regular dealership before and it was a nightmare for so many reasons, the bullying, time wasted, etc. I also bought from Tesla which was an easy enough buying experience online but upon pick up they didn't tell me anything about the car- how to drive, plug in etc. Jorge took his time to show me all of the features and explained the extra warranty clearly without pressure.

    I absolutely hate driving out to this location because it's so far away from society. I'm just kidding lol but it did take me 50 mins up and back. Recently, I shared that I just purchased a vehicle from the Norcross location. I was not completely satisfied as the one I purchased had high mileage was a year older and didn't have some of the basic features I'm use to such as push to start, leather seats, sunroof - the basics lol Carmax has an amazing 30 day guarantee where you can bring a vehicle back for any reason as long as it's less than 1500 mileage used. Thee best part about them I think! With that said - I found another Corolla at this location with almost 40k less miles, a year old AND all the perks I just mentioned; a premium version. I reserved it and went to Town center to purchase and trade the other one back. Daysha - so much to say about this wonderful saleswoman. She looked the part and worked with me with the upmost care from beginning to end. I knew exactly what I wanted and it made her job a lot easier. Because I just went through the process at Norcross, I knew what to expect and was able to allow this transition to be a smooth one. Overall I am SO happy I was able to return the car and absolutely LOVE this vehicle. It was worth it 100% Thank you Andy - one of the managers and your wonderful staff at this location. Really brightened up my Saturday that I could find a reliable car of my dreams! If you are looking for a nice car and awesome experience tell them brittney C sent you and ask for Daysha! Definitely recommend and would return

When I returned to the dealership and mentioned my budget, I was immediately shown other cars that were of NO interest to me. I expressed to the sales woman that I had another car to see that same day and would follow up with the dealership. Within a few hours, the saleswoman was calling and texting. Over the next few days we corresponded, I was encouraged to fill out the credit application as it would be a soft inquiry on my credit and that there were options available for financing. The saleswoman even went to the extent of texting me about an exciting opportunity for financing that was available!!! After settling in the vehicle and filling out the application, I had not heard back. Begrudgingly, I had to reach out to the eager saleswoman. (NOTE: Upon reaching out to the saleswoman I received an email from CarGurus stating that the car had been sold! Sold?!?! Why wasn't I notified??) I contacted the saleswoman and she proceeded with the following speech: " I was off the other day because I was having my monthly cramps but came in to deal with a customer. The finance manager said he'd contact you but now he's on vacation and when I went to the other sales manager just now, he said it's been sold. I didn't know! How else can I help you??" I read reviews and neglected to go with my gut on this one, especially after being approached by a green saleswoman trying to sell me an Audi when I was specifically there for the Camry. To add insult to injury, I received an update regarding my credit. The 'soft' inquiry that she claimed would be processed was NOT soft. It was in fact a 'hard' inquiry and would impact my credit score for the next 3 months!!! NOTE: It takes zero effort to be simple and uninformed, case and point.

The car I was interested in ended up selling to a walk-in ahead of me, which was obviously not ideal. Hakeem still got me into a good looking car at a decent price, and Tashi stole the show. He was kind & answered my questions, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. He offered me a 3-month warranty as a courtesy, and I had a good, simple experience with them. They sell their cars at a good price point.

Never had as many problems just trying to get a reasonably accurate estimate from any auto repair shop as this one. The process with four other shops I checked out for the same repairs using same description went smoothly, so not sure why it was so difficult for RNJ. Needed a simple headlight replacement, installation of a new combo meter (circuit board that displays speedometer and odometer), and a quote for an engine swap on a Prius. The woman who provided a two hour quote for the combo meter, Nancy J., didn't know what one was - which is understandable - but apparently couldn't be bothered to look it up. On July 15 promised to get me a quote on the engine swap the next day, then almost two weeks later (July 27) said still didn't have it. Rather than being somewhat apologetic for not following up as promised, her reply was seething with sarcasm. Things rarely turn out well, in my experience, when a company is this careless and puts someone who doesn't understand the fundamentals of customer service as your first point of contact. It's not uncommon for these companies to exercise poor judgment in other aspects of the business as well. Bottom line: Service leaves much to be desired and prices not very competitive. Too many shops out there who are eager to earn your business and extremely capable to put up with this level of carelessness and sarcasm. Is this shop better than a dealership as mentioned in several of the positive reviews? Sure. But that's setting the bar really low. [Note: Nancy edited her sarcastic comments out of the allegedly entire conversation in her response. Can't help but think if they're incapable of honesty in a review, how much can you trust them with your auto repairs?]

In October 2017 when I bought my brand new Passat, that perception was shattered and I am still beyond impressed and satisfied with the experience I've had with Jim Ellis VW Kennesaw's sales, financing, and ESPECIALLY service department. When I bought my car, my salesperson was quick, knowledgeable, and didn't push me towards anything I didn't want. The gentleman who helped me set up my financing was truly one of the nicest people I've ever met. He knew exactly what he was doing, walked me through every step of the process by explaining everything, and wasn't annoyed while answering the millions of questions I asked along the way. At the time I was a young single woman with a short credit history and this man not only made sure I got the best possible financing deal but also explained how the credit system works and how I can take advantage of it and improve - not just in regards to financing my car but with personal finances in general. I am now a homeowner part in thanks to the advice he gave me. The real shining star of this business is the service department. I got an extended warranty (which I would highly recommend by the way) and have had to visit the service department several times over the years for routine maintenance and an absurd amount of tire replacements caused by Atlanta potholes and screws/nails lodged in my tires. Every time I come in I work with the same service representative, Arianna, who always remembers me by name and sees to it that my needs are taken care of as quickly and cost-friendly as possible. (Seriously though... if anyone at who works at Jim Ellis VW Kennesaw is reading this, please give Arianna a raise because she's the absolute best kind of person.) Having to put your day on hold for car maintenance is not a fun thing, but because of the kindness, professionalism, and efficiency of the quality work this team does makes the process 100x more tolerable. As far as full-service, one stop car dealership and service centers go, you will not find a better one than Jim Ellis VW of Kennesaw. I will never not recommend them!

    Entire purchase process was going smoothly with Cem "Jim" my salesperson without any issues. He was…read morepolite and attentive to all questions and concerns regarding purchase. I was in and out within one hour! Jose Vasquez - one of the finance managers came over to sign more paperwork. He then brought over copies of a few pages I signed in an envelope. Then I had to sign more papers and asked for copies of EVERYTHING I signed. He made a smart comment "well essentially this is what I gave you but if you insist I guess." I do insist! He went and got the other copies and brought them back and while I had my hand out to retrieve them, this man tossed them on the desk right in front of me and kept walking. I immediately said "that's rude." So...essentially because of Jose and his unprofessionalism I would never do business with Jim Ellis and will tell all my friends and colleagues the same! Proceed with caution. I thought finance managers were more friendly. Plus side: I was in/out within 1 hour; Jim was amazing. Downside: Jose Vasquez - Finance Manager...BEWARE!!! And if management want to contact me or say I didn't make a purchase - due to the name...I purchased a 2019 Honda Accord EXL 2.0 on 7/21/25. Look it up!!!
