The van in question, VIN # 3C6MRVHG9RE120087, stock CXR8802 with only 79 miles on the odometer. I saw the vehicle was available on their website so I requested a test drive. I received an email back from someone at the dealership within a short time stating that the van was indeed still available. They acknowledged my interest and my request for a test drive for the next day. I made an appointment for around 6:00PM. I informed the sales agent that I was a serious buyer who could potentially purchase the van that day. I received a phone call early in the morning and an email later that day to confirm my appointment. I received a text an hour before my appointment, letting me know that a sales agent was expecting me. When I arrived, it took a while to find the sales agent. Since I arrived 30 minutes early, I was told to wait until 6:00PM. As a potential customer, I was a little annoyed at having to wait when the sales agent was just standing around, talking to other sales agents but I accepted it. I did not see any other customers. At 6:00PM, the sales agent went to pick the van up. After 30 minutes he returned to tell me that the van was no longer available and that I should look for a different vehicle. I reminded him that I had received a phone call, emails and texts verifying that it was still available. I showed him the Russ Darrow website showing the van was still available but he replied that it was not. Infuriated at this "bait-and-switch" tactic, I asked to speak with the sales manager. The sales manager, Mr. Sone Phrakousonh, told me the van had just been sold at auction. I questioned the reasoning a vehicle with only 79 miles would be sent to auction but received no explanation. After mentioning the multiple confirmations I had received, with indifference, Mr. Phrakousonh then said that there had been a mistake but that I am free to look for a different vehicle. After some back and forth dialog, Mr. Phrakousonh then said that the van I had come to see was on the lot but it's no longer for sale. Then he said the van was no longer on the lot because it was sold to a different dealer who will be taking it to an auction. 3 different explanations within a 5 minute timeframe. I then asked Mr. Phrakousonh to provide an out-the-door cost breakdown of a different van on the lot with similar mileage and was given a sheet of paper with a few handwritten one-word notes indicating the tax and a service fee. I asked to see the van and was told I would need to return to the dealership the next day. I asked whether any discounts can be applied, given the situation I had endured with the first van. Mr. Phrakousonh promptly refused, stating, "if you don't want it at that price, that's fine with me". I asked to speak with Mitch Darrow the general manager and was informed that Mr. Phrakousonh was currently the only manager available. The level of dishonesty, unprofessionalism, arrogance and total lack of caring about a potential sale by Mr. Phrakousonh , the sales manager, was beyond comprehension. I have since purchased a similar vehicle at a competing dealership.

First, the good: my buying experience was excellent. I purchased a brand-new 2026 Chevrolet Silverado, and the sales team I worked with was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the purchase process enjoyable. Now for the disappointing part. I had the choice between a black Silverado (which I preferred) and a white Silverado with the Waldoch package. Since I wanted the black truck, I was asked if I liked the interior, wheels, running boards, and blacked-out package on the white truck. I said yes, and it was agreed that I would purchase the black truck and those features--or in the case of the wheels, similar wheels of my choosing, which I specifically asked about before signing the loan documents--would be installed on my truck. Based on that agreement, my wife and I signed the paperwork and completed the purchase. Two days later, I was given a rental while my truck was taken to have the upgrades completed. About a week later, I got my truck back, and I loved the overall look. Unfortunately, several parts of the agreement were never fulfilled: * I was never given the opportunity to choose my wheels. * My original factory wheels and tires were never returned to me. * The interior was never upgraded. * The blacked-out paint began chipping within a month, requiring another trip back to have it redone. I reached out multiple times for answers and even spoke with the service department during oil changes. To their credit, the service staff genuinely tried to help and seemed just as frustrated as I was that I wasn't getting clear answers. Eventually, I decided to accept the situation because I'm not someone who enjoys complaining, and the entire experience made me uncomfortable. Later, I discovered that the tires rubbed when turning. I decided I would pay out of pocket to install a lift kit, since I no longer wanted to rely on the dealership to resolve issues related to the modifications. My only question was simple: What type of lift kit can I purchase that will not void my warranty? Over the past eight months, I've stopped in at least five times and made countless phone calls trying to get that answer. Unfortunately, I still haven't received one. This was my first brand-new truck, and spending over $60,000 should have been an exciting experience. Instead, it's disappointing to be making payments on a vehicle that isn't what I agreed to purchase because the commitments made during the sale weren't fully honored. I intentionally chose not to mention any employees by name because I don't know what happened behind the scenes. It may have been completely outside of the salesperson's control, and I never want to jeopardize someone's livelihood. My goal isn't to attack anyone personally--it's simply to share my experience so others understand what happened and hopefully encourage better follow-through on commitments made to customers.

It was on their website as well as Car Gurus as being available at that time and six hours later so I decided to call and make sure the vehicle did indeed sell, ( just in case financing fell through ) and was told the vehicle was still available. I asked the salesman Lalo three times to verify because I was told earlier in the day it was sold and I live an hour away from the dealership. He said " yes it is available (three times) and when would you like to make an appointment to come see it?" I made the appointment for a little over an hour later and he asked if anything would change text the number he sent me. So I still was not convinced and wanted to verify the vehicle was there one more time before I left so I called back a few minutes later and spoke with a different salesman and again asked several times to verify the vehicle was there and available. He said "yes it is still available" . He saw my appointment was already made by looking at my phone number so I said I will be there in about an hour. I drive there, go to the front desk and let them know why I am there and the person at the desk says Lalo is gone for the day so he will work with me. We go to a sales station, he asks some questions and says he'll be right back, assuming he's going to get the keys. Comes back a minute or two later and says the vehicle is sold. I tell him I would like to speak to the manager so he goes and gets Mark, one of the sales managers. I tell him I'm pissed and how many times I asked the two salesmen to verify availability. He tells me the car was sold a few days ago and starts blaming it on call centers and tells me "it's not on my end" when a vehicle is sold off their lot it's off right away. He then asks me who I spoke with and I tell him "Lalo" and he looks me in the eye and says "never heard of him, he must be at a call center, happens all the time" and apologizes for the inconvenience. So while I'm on my hour long return trip home I decide to call the number that I spoke to Lalo on and get the Kunes phone menu. Press #2 for sales and was connected with a very nice lady asking how she could help. I asked her location and she told me she was at the Milwaukee Metro Mall where I had just left, not a call center like Mark the lying sales manager told me. After verifying her location I described "Mark" and asked to speak with him. After a few minutes on hold she came back, knowing my name and said Mark was busy with a customer so she gave him a message to call me back. I then asked her if there is a salesman there named Lalo and she said "yes". So Mark the manager lied to me several times. ( He is a car salesman after all). I got home, checked the web site and Car Gurus and now it's gone. And Mark the lying sales manager never called me back. I wish I could give them zero stars for their ineptitude and lies. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Well, I knew better so I went ahead and made an appointment anyway to come in later the same day. I got there and stood idly for about 10 minutes as employees milled around me promising someone would help me soon. A woman filled out my paperwork and told me John would be looking at it. I went into the waiting room and was called out by John in about 15 minutes. John went into a long explanation about how the recall was for the passenger side only, and my drivers side seatbelt mechanism was broken (strange, I've never had an issue with it before) and that's why my airbag alert kept coming on on my dashboard (strange again, I've never seen it come on). I told him that I'd never had any issues with drivers side or any alerts, but my complaint was that the passenger side air bag OFF sign was constantly lit up whether or not there was a passenger. He told me to sit back down in the waiting room. About 5 minutes later he calls me out to my car to look at it, IT'S NOT EVEN MY CAR! Finally he admits that the sensor is indeed blown and they'll have to send in the passenger side cushions. He says he hopes I won't be driving with passengers for a while. I asked him to clarify... he was ready to send me out driving this car with no passenger seat and no right side airbags! I insisted on a rental car (as the recall notice stated came free with the fix) and he obliged. Once in the rental I noticed that the gas is only at 1/4 tank, the washer fluid is empty (seems like a luxury, but with slushy weather it truly is a safety hazard), and filthy interior. This is a 2015 rental with just over 1,000 miles on it... how is it so gross already?!? I called back to clarify that there was little gas in it and insisted it is noted so that I am not charged the hefty $6.00 a gallon when I return it at 1/4 tank. They were snooty with me then too. He even said my keys were "in use" when I asked for them to get my house key and office fob... so I guess what I'm saying is... anybody got a couch I can crash on for a couple days? Not returning.
