    Thank you, John speciale you are a wonderful sales man. thank you for hard work very layback understand to fit our needs. Never put pressure made sure we understand everything at our speed. Made sure we had the best deal possible and if we had any issues he did his best to make things right . My boyfriend loves carmax told me to give it a try and it was best decision. I See why he likes it all staff was nice and friendly. From the min we walk in to we left . Thank you carmax and wonderful team.

    Is the Maxcare extended warranty worth it?

    Maxcare nickels and dimes dimes the shop i dealt with, so they lowered the estimate just to get done with Maxcare and still I had to pay $100 over my deductible. Hours on the phone, multiple different people. MaxcCare sucks !! Stay away!

My sales coordinator was Rose, she was a joy to work with, as were Tim & Tim, the 2 gentlemen who assisted with the financing. All 3 of them are very personable, customer oriented & know their stuff. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction, everything was thoroughly explained. The monthly payment was a little more than I wanted to pay, but for what I got, it's well worth it. I loved the fact that I didn't need to haggle to get a great price, the price you see on the website is the price that you pay, but keep in mind that's before all taxes, fees, & any extras that you want are added on. For the test drive, I took the car to my mechanic, who checked the car out thoroughly, the car passed with flying colors, with a couple of minor issues that were addressed before I drove off the lot. I can honestly say that in all my years of buying cars, this was the easiest, most pleasant car buying experience that I've ever had. I highly recommend Hertz Schaumburg.

However as we were told by our sales rep they only have 1 guy who does the finances. This causes a huge backup if there is literally anyone else there trying to buy a car. We were there from 9:30am to 2:30pm. While buying a car is a process, it's not a 5 hour process. Esp since there is no haggling involved and we had the car we wanted picked out. By the time we were able to sign our contract we were already in a huge hurry So we had to rush the most important part of the whole thing. We carved out 3 hours, were fine with 4, then started to get annoyed and anxious at 5 We also noticed an interior light wasn't working during our test drive. The sales rep mentioned they would have someone swap it out but by the time we left it was still out. Either they forgot, or somehow in 5 hours had no time to swap out an interior lightbulb. They did end up changing it a few days later though We would defiantly go back and recommend to friends. Just make sure to bring lunch haha

I feel like Montway was a bit deceptive in the quote however. The initial quote was raised because the car was "modified", but in reality it had been stretched 1.5 ft in the front. This was not an issue for the transport, as the driver had a trailer that hauled 2-3 vehicles. Montway rep said on the phone that $200-$300 would be charged to my credit card and the rest would go to the driver, and I received an email stating that $1370 would be owed to the driver on delivery. In reality, Montway charged my card $499, and sent another email stating to only pay the driver $1,100, which I did, but it felt deceptive. I am guessing that Montway got a way better deal from the driver than they anticipated, and instead of passing some of that saving on to me, or explaining, they just charged my card double what the rep said they would and kept all of the profit. Also, the rep promised tracking, which never happened - we had to call the driver a couple of times to find out the delivery time, because he hit traffic (which I understand he cannot control) and got held up by a couple of hours. All in all, it is done, but Montway didn't leave the best impression overall as a transport broker. Grateful I had a better driver than some of these other reviews...

    This review is based on being charged cancellation fee even though I clearly request cancellation…read morewell before anyone was dispatched. On Monday, June 15th, 2026, at 7:59AM PST time, I sent a cancellation request on my outlook email as specified exactly in there terms and condition as followed to the email of info@montway.com. Section 9: c. Cancellation of an Order by Customer must be submitted in writing via email sent to info@montway.com. Cancellations made via telephone, text, chat or any other medium will not be accepted by Montway. No one was dispatched yet when that email was sent that. I have uploaded the receipt of the email to this complaint On Wednesday. June 17th, 11:37AM PST, I received an email that a driver was dispatched even though my cancellation was well before that. I was told on call on Wednesday that I would be charged because someone was dispatched. Why was someone dispatched when I clearly cancelled the order well before that? As specified in their terms and condition: a. Customer may cancel an Order at any time at no cost or cancellation fees as long as the Order has not yet been accepted by a Carrier. They claimed on call they could not find the email record and claimed I will be charged the cancellation fee. I would be happy to work with Montway, the BBB, and outlook, to show proof of this email receipt that was was sent to their email at info@montway.com. I have provided them the receipt of the email record on the phone call and in chat and it was still not resolved. As of now this is also a filed complaint with the BBB and will be disputed with my bank if it comes to that. Edit: I see the reply below and you could message me at-least to find out my order. Why would I post the order number publicly? Edit 6/22/2026: In my BBB complaint reply by Montway, it was confirmed that I did indeed DID contact them before. I am getting my refund and will keep track of this. For everyone who has or will have this issue, please file a BBB complaint and attach Montway's terms of service in addition to your email as track record if you ever encounter this issue.

It is unheard of in this business about this kind of small, at home feeling type of company. He cares about his reputation and doing right for his customers. I am a passionate person and came off fairly abrasive because I expected to be ripped off or to haggle. But there really was no need. He was kind, calm, cool and just had a sense of authenticity about him. He was very calm and respectful. He answered all of my questions and I didn't really have to negotiate or bargain with him. He was able to really sell me a great car for an amazing price without the extra stress that you can expect at all the other car dealerships. This is where you go to buy a car, don't waste your time with other places because what ends up happening is other places will waste your time, waste your money and sell you sometimes not the best car.     Late review but better than never! Hubby was looking to purchase a car. We had been to a few auto…read moreplaces but were very unsuccessful in our search. He did see a BMW sedan that he liked from another dealership but they gave him the runaround when it came down to go through the financing aspect. So we continued looking around and came upon a BMW that was for sale here that was the same year and make so we decide to make the long drive from the city to Palatine, IL. We had a 3/23/24 2 p.m. reservation. We walk in and are greeted by Yuriy. At first personally I didn't really care for him because he seemed like he was a fast talker. Upon looking at the vehicle, I noticed that there were noticeable scratch marks on the vehicle that you couldn't see on the pictures they had. I could tell hubby was a bit disappointed because he could see himself in that car. Yuriy kept the process going and wanted to show us some other luxury vehicles they had in stock. Hubby saw a 2012 Mercedes that caught his eye so Yuriy quickly went to get it. When he let us look at it, it was beautiful. Silver grey, one owner who took very good care of the car and not a scratch on the car. No accidents. We test drove it and it was super smooth. Yuriy seemed genuinely happy that we saw something we liked. He gave us the CarFax information. Hubby gave me that look to say "I want this car". We went through the process of paperwork and the explanation of extended warranty. We were there for awhile. I think hubby thought he was going to leave there with no car but Yuriy changed that and saved the day! He really took time with us and never rushed us out. I would highly recommend Car City. We had a good experience and they pride themselves on having trusted mechanics on site to inspect the cars before they go out on the lot to be sold. Thanks Car City - Hubby still is loving his car and no repairs since! A+!
