Years ago, I went to the dealership and I said I would never go back. Several months back, we were thinking about buying a Lexus so we went to the dealership to look at one. Let me tell you things have changed! We were warmly greeted when we came in. We were treated very well by the salesman, Mike. He made us a very good offer on a new 2025 Lexus 350 ES and basically gave us a two for one price for interior and interior and exterior protection. The finance manager gave us a nice discount on the extended warranty as well. Maintenance is free for the first year too. The facility is spacious, bright and airy and offers compliant snacks and beverages while you are waiting. I've been there a few times since purchasing for the first maintenance visit and compliant car washed and have been treated very well. I recommend this dealership. read more

Buyer Beware Would not recommend this dealership at all. They sold me a used car with multiple issues after proclaiming 'we don't sell cars with issues'. Took 6 trips back to the dealership to fix one of them and now I am looking at minimum a $1k repair for 3 rust holes in the exhaust that nobody mentioned and was not on the Carfax or dealership records. I have only owned the car for under 2 months. Not to mention how much I spent in gas and tolls after telling anyone that would listen that I live an hour away and coming back to the dealership is less than convenient. I received no compensation because nobody can be bothered to answer the phone to communicate with customers. It was a fight to get all the paperwork I signed on day of purchase and I still have not received all of it. The lack of communication is mind boggling. I talked to the sales manager, dealership manager, and service manager and was told something different each time. Nobody can communicate properly and it shows. I would go literally anywhere else in Schaumburg for a vehicle. Don't be fooled by the 'luxury' of it being a Lexus dealership, they will sell you a car and tell you to kick rocks afterwards. read more

Woodfield Lexus (Service Advisor Tammie Sage and her tech team), did a GREAT job as usual, performing the needed services smoothly, efficiently and thoroughly! I especially LOVED how they emailed me a VIDEO update/diagnosis of my truck which clearly showed what all my brakes looked like and which parts needed fixing - while I was in their waiting lounge! Never heard of such an awesome service being given anywhere else! They even gave me an awesome loaner (an RX350!) to use while they worked on my truck--such a fast, fun and well equipped truck to get around in! We purchased our present vehicle from this dealer back in 2014. Overall, we have been pleased with our car's reliable performance and the quality of customer service. But once our warranty expired and we had to start paying for previously-covered work out-of-pocket, the service department's fees seemed excessive. We also wondered whether all of the work they performed was absolutely necessary. Here's a case in point: The driver-side seatbelt buckle was not releasing easily when the button was pressed (otherwise the belt retracted normally). We had to bring the car in anyway to address an unrelated issue, so we asked if they would take a look at the buckle. I coyly suggested that perhaps it needed nothing more a squirt of WD-40, but the advisor said a technician would need to make that determination. Well, after examining it, they said the buckle needed to be replaced. They quoted $100 for the new part and $200+ for labor because the driver-side seat would need to be removed to replace the part. We prudently declined. Searching online, it took me less than one minute to find a genuine Lexus replacement buckle for our vehicle. The cost? $10.47 (plus labor, natch). To make a long story short, I did not order this part. A 1/2-second squirt of WD-40 into the buckle completely fixed the problem that Woodfield Lexus was going to charge us $300+ to fix! I love stories with happy endings. Of course, we will continue to bring our car here for service on proprietary (i.e. intelligent) devices that require Lexus expertise. I continue to give this dealership high marks for their professionalism and immaculate facilities, and we will likely purchase our next car from here. But for routine maintenance tasks such as inspections, oil changes, tire rotation, brake pad replacement, etc. and straightforward repairs, we have switched to a dependable and highly skilled mechanic (average 5-star rating on Yelp) who charges considerably less for these services. read more

I have attempted on two separate occasions years apart to buy a vehicle from woodfield Lexus. The sales staff is so rude and aloof. I emailed and called trying to make a time to come for a test drive and after a week of calling and emailing I bought a genesis. They were rude in person and didn't respond to calls or emails. I don't think the sales staff understands that they are in sales. And car salesman at that. Used cars or brand new Lexus sales staff needs a reality check! In the sales world car salesman and do you want fries with that are the same. Although the fast food worker is much nicer. I'd try another Lexus dealership. MUST READ! I purchased a used car from Woodfield Lexus. I thought MAYBE the buying experience would be different from most. WRONG! Actually worse! I'll explain... Part 1) I went to look at two cars and met up with a salesman. We talked, he showed me one car and I asked if I could come back with my wife to look at both cars. Went home, called him to say I'll be there in an hour. I arrive...he's talking to his colleagues, no car in sight, still holding the keys. "Oh sorry, I'll be right with you". 30 minutes later (car wouldn't start) we got to see both cars. Then, instead of talking to us about a used vehicle, his attention was now with a woman who apparently was buying new. We finally got fed up waiting and we searched for him and told him we wanted another salesman. Part 2) Driving away with the car we purchased, I noticed one of the brake lights isn't working...Hmmm, I was shown a list of things they checked over...apparently brake lights are not a priority. Brought it back, they fixed it with a 'Sorry'. Got home and tried to pair my cell phone to the car and the display screen kept turning off then coming back on. I am in electronics and I knew that was a serious problem...power supply, motherboard, etc. Not having the car for more than a day I brought it back and said "I get it's a used car, it would need a little work but this is a serious problem." No phone, no GPS, no radio, no environment control! I talked to the Service Manager after talking to the salesman and he said "No Charge, we have a budget for this type of situation." I was told I would have it back in two weeks. Two weeks later I got a call and said it would be another two weeks. I finally got the call that it was ready, went to the cashier, she smiled and said "that will be $900, please". The invoice was actually $1,800 but they said they were trying to work with me! So..after 20 minutes or so telling the service manager and sales person (who all eventually disappeared) that they can eat that car before I pay $900 for a car I have yet to drive for a day, a cashier came out and said "you're free to go". AND...I get home, give my wife a FOB for the car and I kept the second one. The first time I go to drive the car, it won't start. Changed the battery in the FOB, still didn't work, then I noticed the dealer tag on the key had the initials 'NG' as in NO GOOD! That's another $250 to $400 to replace. Now, a week later, we noticed the car hesitating when accelerating. So, if you want to work with a dealer that cares about the customer and not just making a buck and churning cars from inventory, DO NOT go to Woodfield Lexus. Don't be fooled about the bling and the Lexus facade. Go somewhere where you are valued and the cars are actually inspected and supported. This dealer is why car dealers have a bad reputation. Their rating is 3.5 on Yelp. Should be less. This place used to be better. read more

I purchased a 2018 BMW M5 from Woodfield Lexus for around $70,000 dollars. After signing the papers, the salesman opened the trunk and showed me the factory exhaust was in it. When I got home, I realized they were the catalytic converters! The next day I took the car to BMW and they wanted $3,500 dollars to install them. Then the car broke down in the middle of the road, the dash went black and all electronics shut off. It restarted and ran fine. I told the salesman and asked if they would take it back, he said they didn't take cars back and it was probably just bad gas, because that causes electrical issues. They also said they wouldn't pay $3,500 to have the catalytic converters reinstalled and I should shop for a cheaper price, then they would pay. Later, I took the car to BMW and found out the ECU had also been modified and would not pass the smog check in my state. That's another $300 to fix. Selling a car without catalytic converters is against federal law. It's against the state law to drive a car like this in IL. The offense comes under Class 4 felony in Illinois, which includes charges such as DUI, driving with an invalid license, or automobile theft. When I told them I wanted to return the car and if they wanted to avoid litigation they should take it back, they just replied, "Our user car manager said you were fine with the car when you took it. You knew it had aftermarket exhaust." I did not know it was illegal to drive, unable to be registered in my state, or would cost $3,800 to fix and register in my state! They act like they did nothing wrong because I said I was fine with it before I knew how bad it was, and now I'm just with a 70k dollar chunk of metal I cannot register/drive legally on the road. They also didn't seem to care at all that the expensive car they just sold me broke down within 24 hours. Their best offer was to take the car to presumably, the cheapest shop they could find, to have it "fixed". This is an expensive car and it should be fixed correctly at a BMW dealership. read more

I had a great experience at this Lexus dealership. The staff was very friendly I dealt with Paul while I was there. I brought him a difficult scenario with a trade-in, and he and his manager, Robert helped me. I was very happy with the outcome, but I came from three hours away. Before that, I called Paul. He made sure to have the vehicle ready for me when I showed up. Paul was very polite,kind, respectful, and not pushy to make you do a deal that you're not comfortable with. He had let me know that there were a couple of dings and dents on the car before even driving out there. I mean, it was a 2014 Cadillac Escalade, so it was going to have a little bit of imperfections. They were being as transparent as possible with me before I even drove there. I purchased an L-Certified Lexus thru this dealership. When I initially had gone there to look at the vehicle I made it very clear that I felt very comfortable buying L-Certified because I wouldn't have to worry about the vehicle having been in an accident or other issues that might pop up. After the purchase I requested a copy of the Car Fax to put with the title and other paperwork and Mustafa the salesperson tells me in the first line "the vehicle has been in an accident." He said he didn't know this, but I doubt a car dealership takes a vehicle in without looking at the Car Fax. Stupid me for trusting a Lexus dealership to be honest with me and tell me that the vehicle had damage on the report, even minor damage. I thought I would be treated honestly and fairly. Instead I feel like I was misled in order to get a sale. Lesson learned, I won't buy from Woodfield Lexus again and I will not assume just because something is L-Certified and it is at what I think is a reputable dealership that the salesperson will be honest. read more

I arrived at the service area and they just proceeded to show us a service car that didn't have the parts inside and said this car model doesn't have any. Terrible customer service at the service department. Requested specific service online only to have it completely ignored. Calls to the coordinator and manager only made it worse. After arguing and not getting anywhere simply requested an oil change. Hour and forty five minutes later car still isn't ready. Coordinator said 20 minutes for the oil change, manager said coordinator would never say that. Loaner cars not given for job that require less than 1.5 hours of work. Guess hour forty five is less than that. Brake inspection, that you can do for free at any mechanic shop is $120. I will never take my car back to this place and will recommend everyone I know to Glenview, Arlington or Highland Park. At least they will appreciate your business. read more

The service department is great. The sales team, not so much. I stopped in this location while on my hunt for a very specific vehicle largely because it was in my neighborhood and also because I figured it would be easier to purchase from a local dealer. My sales guy was very nice and knew a lot about the products and offerings. My issue was with the service that is beyond the salesperson's control. I was given a payment and price quote after the test drive. The price was unreasonable. When I left the dealer, I priced shopped online and received 4 quotes that were significantly lower than the price this dealership offered. I then called a dealership and was given a lower price by phone and an assurance that they would beat any offer given to me. Those words suggested the offer was a good one but there was room to go lower. Note the other offers were given online and by phone. Shocking that an online quote and phone call quote could be more competitive than an in person visit. This is even more shocking when I tell you that I did not give the quote I received from Woodfield to the others. In short, I bought from a different dealer and suggest you do the same...... But my vehicle is regularly serviced here because their service team is top notch. read more

Never had we ever had to deal with more BS in buying a car in our lives. My wife and I recently purchased a new car and before we purchased we made key points on to what exactly we wanted on the car and it wasn't much, just the upgraded rims, a tow hitch and the lights that illuminate on the ground when you open the doors and NONE of it was done when we came to pick up our car. Now we take it in today and we're told they can get it done in 2/3 hrs so we will have it by the end of the day, NOPE! Nothing is done and still no parts are ordered. How much lazier can a dealership get? On top of all that we were expecting the car back done today and now have to continue making multiple trips for something that should've been done right the first time. Oh and also couldn't even drive our car back and pick up loaner for all the hassle even considering our newborns car seat is in the back so now had to make even more arrangements that weren't expected. Last Wednesday brought my car for oil change ( usually they do check brakes, fluids level, they wash the car, and it's cost me 120$ ) this time I asked them to check suspension and to see how the transmission works. If it's good - that's good. They charge me 244$ just because of that, but in invoice service 220$ inspections - 0$. I'll try to make this review clear,clean, and concise. Could be one of the worst dealers and car experiences I've ever had. Period. When you make an appointment with service and explain the issues you're having with the vehicle, they come up with a hypothesis of what they believe happened to the car and you're left defending yourself about the issue you are having with the vehicle. Understandably you have to ask pointed questions to try to find out what's wrong with the vehicles, but blaming the customer for what's happening to the vehicle is unacceptable. My vehicle has also been damaged numerous times when brought in for service and of course, they'll always say "you brought the vehicle in that way". You try to reach out to management to resolve any issues that service is unequipped to handle and they won't return your phone calls. The owners which are the Resnick group are no better than the top management at the dealership. No return calls. It appears to me that after the sale is made they really could care less about customer service because if you drive in with a $500 car or $100,000 car all customers should be treated equal and respectfully. I wouldn't even waste my tWoodfield Lexus. There are much better Lexus dealerships out there than these guys. Plain and simple just go somewhere else. read more
