This was awful service start to finish. I pulled into the Service area for my appointment and sat in my car. There was nobody at the desk. Nobody came to greet me so after five minutes I got out of my car and I walked around and I still couldn't find a single person to help me. Finally a nice lady walked by and said she does not work in service but she'd be happy to send someone over. I waited five more minutes and finally some grumpy guy walked over and didn't even say hi to me. All he said was are you here to drop your car off or pick up? I got the feeling like I was there wasting his time. He asked me a few questions -looked at my information. I brought out a coupon which he told me he doesn't need that he'll give me a better deal. And then I left. 2 hours went by and I didn't hear from anybody. No text no call -nothing I finally returned to the service area and still nobody was in there and I saw someone driving my car parking it and I asked him if my car was done and he said yes so I went to the cashier who was also very grumpy and said hey nobody called me about my car. I got No video, no text, no phone call and I asked is my car ready She finally found my information and she was able to process my payment and there was no coupon applied so I overpaid for rotten service. I still have yet to see a video of the work done. I will never go back to this location. FYI, Mullers you need to take a lesson from the Morton Grove store. They are way ahead of you on customer service. read more

Disappointed with this dealership and Honda/Acura as a whole. I brought my TLX for an issue and was told the passenger front belt molding was "deformed" (when you tell someone that's been in the industry something is deformed, it means a manufacturer defect). I agreed to pay the $400+ to "fix" the issue. A few days later, I go wash my car, we're back to square one where my windows won't work, they either get stuck in the up position or down (drivers front always works). Brought it in last week and was told it's the main master switch that was causing all these issues and magically it's covered under my CPO warranty. I was over all this going back and forth with the dealership giving me the run around and taking my money and I still have the same exact issue as I originally did since day one. They're all liars, the tech and service manager both told Honda the total opposite of what my original complaint was, just so they don't have to refund me what I've paid. I'm glad I left the brand. Be careful with this place, they'll lie and tell you things aren't covered just to pay out of pocket then you'll have the same issue, then magically it's covered by your CPO or extended warranty. They're more like part changers vs problem solvers. read more

I know its BEYOND Cold in Chicago, however, no back window should ever pop out and shatter. I have a 2020 Acura RDX. I called and was told THIS IS NORMAL. But we need to see if it will be covered! Hmmm, this is not normal and especially for a semi-new car. Was told yea, bring it in and a Rep has to come and look and approve, if its not approved, it will be about $1,000. Heated and ventilated seats etc. My fault for not looking over every single button. That being said, I took it back to the dealer, and they gave me a huge runaround with excuses and then overcharging for another vehicle I was interested in. So sick of the games dealers play these days. Total price gouging!! My salesman was a nice guy, but in the end it didn't matter. I've been looking for a new car. I had a 2018 Toyota Highlander platinum hybrid with 107,000 miles on it. It's been a great car with good gas mileage. I've been thinking of a new upgraded car and my son-in-law is a big Acura SUV fan. So we took a drive to Woodfield Acura and met with Lance. He was terrific. Showed us several models and wasn't a high pressure salesman...very laid back and super knowledgeable about the Acura SUV. He showed us all the bells and whistles which may take me a couple of years to learn. The car is so beautiful and Acura has thought out easy ways to get where you want to go on the dashboard, steering wheel and touch screen pad. The ride is quiet and it has a really safe feel to it. I've called Lance a couple of times to help me figure out how this or that works. He's been extremely patient with me and describes the steps succinctly. Worst dealer ever. Purchased a 2015 GMC Acadia. Within days of purchase the transmission started to shutter. Within three weeks the transmission completely blew up. Found out after we received the tile ( two weeks after purchase ) that the car was registered in Indiana. Which means the car wasn't even traded in, it was most likely a wholesale auction buy. I bought sushi when I went to the Acura before 10minutes.I put them in my front chair, but when I finished and leave store then I checked my food!!! But it was opened already !!!! Brought car for oil change. Hood latch was unexpectedly broken. Manager Kenneth said my car was in an accident on Carfax and that was the cause. The accident was a minor rear end collision. Kenneth advised me to go to America's Auto Body shop in Schaumburg and stated the repair would be expensive. I met with Jerry, either an owner or manager. He made the effort to help me call Arlington Acura in Palatine. Arlington Acura told me to come right over and they would take care of it and get me a loaner vehicle. They just repaired the hood latch in an hour. I will not be returning to Muller Acura. If Kenneth didn't want to do the warranty service, he should not have sent me to a body shop that told me they would basically have to remove the front panel of my car and potentially have to remove and replace parts to fix a latch. Thankfully, the body shop confirmed there was no front end damage and was honest with me. I was told by Bob Rohrmann Acura in Palatine that this is a known issue in 2019 RDX. So, Ken both tried to get out of doing a repair, by giving me incorrect CarFax info, and hid the fact that this is a known issue for my 2019 make and model. Very poor customer service. read more

Dropped $58K on a demo 24 MDX Advance with 3800 miles. Not disclosed was the fact it was a SVC LNR and had a few scratches and a small dent not seen when purchased. To make matters worse we discovered the 3 year complimentary AcuraLink service is NOT TRANSFERABLE at all and the 2 year complimentary service maintenance is strictly up to the dealer to honor or NOT. Since we're moving 200 miles from Muller's we have ZERO service maintenance included. Acura is no longer a "Premium" brand when it comes to customer service. Our previous MDX started peeling white paint from the roof and although Acura extended the warranty it happened 3 months after so we were out of luck and offered no remedy. Additionally the power tilt steering wheel failed, was repaired under warranty and as soon as the warranty expired failed for the second time. Acura is not what it used to be. Look elsewhere! Brought my car here to get serviced for the 1st time since buying it fr another dealership. I had a few issues with the climate control panel and seat warmers that I wanted them to address. Had a difficult time getting the service rep to understand what the exact issue was, so I ended talking to the mechanic myself. And even with that I was told nothing was wrong and blah blah blah.... I've now started recording my issues that are still present with a couple new additions of other things that have started to pop up. Glad I could catch them on video though, felt like I was being judged for the things I was bringing up. Also, forgot to ask about coupons before I paid. Decided to look on the website and Iow and behold a $10 off coupon was there. Asked the cashier if I could get credited back the coupon amount. She looked at me, took a deep breath with annoyance and said that we'd have to get the service rep to okay the return and then reprocess the charges and payments. Keep in mind no one was in line- so it wasn't like I was holding her up. Best part was, I was standing directly in front of her, next to the service rep, and instead of asking me to sign the receipt to cancel the original payment, she handed it to him and told him "she needs to sign the bottom of that receipt." Um... I'm right in front of you. Then when it came to the adjusted payment, she had no issues asking me directly for my card. Customer service is a huge deal to me like it is for most. I visited this dealership to reserve a 2022 Acura TLX Type S. The MSRP of the vehicle on their website is around $54,000. When i arrived I worked with George R who was very polite and professional! In fact, if it weren't for George professional attitude, I would only give one star! When i asked for a quote on the Acura, George quoted me over $62,000, some 20% more as a 'market' adjustment because the vehicle is in such high demand, supply chain issues etc. I completely understand this and while it bothered me, I was willing to work with it. What DID bother me was that the dealership manager wouldn't budge at all on the price, no negotiation whatsoever! I next asked for an offer for my 2017 Honda Accord which has around 28k miles. George quoted me $15k which was about $4000 below KBB. Again, no effort made by his manager to offer more...Nothing. What's more Carmax offered me $21k for my trade in so they earned my business! I've never worked with a dealership so inflexible in my life and it's a shame because I'll never work with them again. read more

I was originally going to get my new Acura from McGrath. CJ easily beat their deal. I told him on numerous occasions if there was even a minor discrepancy in what he said, I would walk away. Just wasted over an hour of driving , lined up service appt for three items all warranty related. After driving 30 mins to dealership received a text that they were not giving me a loaner car. This was after they booked my appt with a loaner car to be picked up. Head all the way over then told since I did not buy the car there they would not provide me with a loaner. The problem is I'm already standing there and I have made zero arrangements for anyone to pick me up or drop me off at the dealership. I question why earlier this year they fixed one of the same problems that I have to have fixed a second time now and last time gave me a loaner car without question. I asked the service guy in the bay about it and he just looked at me and said well that must've been a mistake and then he just let me drive off, no apologies nothing. Salesman Mr. Kaskel is a professional person. During whole process of looking for a car, buying, he never was pushy as other sales persons at other dealerships. Mr Kaskel was full of patience and professionalism . Its hard to believe but Mr. Kaskel and General Manager , this two Gentleman's they are honest about selling used cars, they gave me all informations about a car what I choosed, I was informed about light damage what was not in carfax ,with all details. Other dealers will not tell you this, they did. Before I bought car I was know many important details. Whole proces of buying car, was very professional and peaceful. Salesman and General Manager not played stupid sales games as other dealers usually do. It was took for me 3 hours what in my opinion was really quick depending on my experience with other dealers. Of course I was dealing with price for new car and price for my old car. General Manager was very professional and was focused on my expectations and my suggestions about financial side of deal. Mr Kaskel and General Manager is a example how Car Dealer should treat costumers and sell cars. As buying person take those Gentleman's seriously with respect and you need understand they are doing business for profit, they will treat you same way as you treat them. Service: Few days later when I bring car to home. My wife find few scratches , small dent and few other mechanical issues. We get Back to dealership service. We scheduled appointment. Another day we get courtesy car and they take care of our car. It took a week, ( we was informed it will take longer than few days, what was ok for us, we get temp. car from dealer - brand new MDX), Our car was fixed as we want. After 6 months, we noticed another few light issues on car body. I was sure they will refuse any repairs. I was surprised, They not pushed us away with issues , they apologize us for missing few details before and they fixed all. My next car will come form Muller's Acura. I bought my first Acura here in 2013 and had a great experience from then through now with their service center. For the buying, I used TrueCar via Costco to get an online quote for the exact car I wanted. It saved the hassle and haggling that I hate. My salesman was super friendly and helpful throughout the process. For service, I've been bringing my car here while it's under warranty. Their service department is excellent. Always friendly, helpful, and quick. Their new location (as of January 2017) has a much nicer (and larger) waiting area. There's free donuts, snacks, water, soda, and a fancy coffee maker. Free WiFi, a few TVs, comfy chairs, and even a few cubicle-like work areas for those road warriors or to make a phone call. Today, the service person took the time to show me my old filters when asking me if I wanted to replace them. It was pretty convincing! While waiting, be sure to check out the gorgeous NSXs parked in the service area. No touching, those cars are $200k each! Overall, highly recommended. read more

Mark was the salesman I worked with- he has such a warmth and genuineness about him. I walked into the dealership as a younger female by myself and thought I might feel pressured or intimidated and my experience was the complete opposite! I felt comfortable and encouraged by Mark to ensure I explored the vehicle and asked questions as much as needed. Mark offered helpful suggestions and was empathetic throughout the whole process. Barbara was extremely personable and sincere and went above and beyond to make sure I understood additional coverage, warranty, and financing options. She made the not so fun part of signing up for the expense of a car feel pleasant and easy. Barbara made sure I understood everything and that the information I received was clear! Horrible Service, simply MEAN and unprofessional. Mark - 32 years with the company, you should know better than that. If you want to cancel appointment, CALL THE CUSTOMER AND LET THEM KNOW UPFRONT, DON'T COMMIT AND THEN CANCEL WHEN THEY SHOW UP AT THE SERVICE DESK. IT IS SIMPLY RUDE!!! I scheduled a service appointment for regular maintenance, plus recall and minor repair - something was squeaking on the front axle. After I picked up the car, i noticed that squeaking came back. I called service department and asked if I could bring the car back. The lady told that they are busy now and suggested that I should come Friday so she could get me a loaner. I agreed to the appointment, came on time and all of the sudden weird thing happened. Mark Dettlo - the Service Manager came out and suggested to look at the car with me. Before we even went to drive, he suggested squeaking from brakes was normal. We went for a quick drive, he confirmed that the squeaking was abnormal, but told me that he will not give me a loaner as I did not lease a car from Muller. First, if you have a policy that you give loaners to Muller customer only, let me know before i schedule an appointment. I live 15 miles away, it is not fund for me make accommodations with other people to drop off my kids in school to make 8:00 AM appointment to get blown off. Second, on my previous, 2016 MDX I never had to deal with this. I did not buy it from Muller and Muller still serviced it with no problem to give me a loaner.. I bought tires and breaks from Muller. I serviced it twice, you replaced my suspension, did at least two recalls. I believe I was a good customer. Finally, Mark - no offense but you were very irritated when you talked to me. Kim and other members of your team were always nice to me. This is the reason I kept coming back to Muller. My last experience was not Muller. It was an irritated man having a bad day.... read more

My experience was quick and dirty. I know what I like in a car - I thought I wasn't sure, but after the old TL met it's death the other day, I drove recent TLs, RLs, TXSs, and Lexuses (Lexi?), and realized I like the drive of the TL. Trouble is, I wanted one without the Nav system since I have yet to get lost in the Chicago area (even when driving way the hell up here). This place had the TL I wanted and I got it for an excellent price. It rocks tight and is a handsome devil. And, speaking of handsome, Meet Sebastian. Nice guy, extremely smart and speaks Car quite well, makes you feel like a valued customer. But I'll always remember him for his hand-sanitizer predilection. read more
